This year I went the last day of the season, so picking took a little longer than usual. There were still had a great amount of blueberries available for it being the end of the season. This is my favourite place to go blueberry picking. They have a very big orchard and there's east and west patches. The west patch is where I went this time, with flags lined at the top of the rows to let you know where to pick. You could see the Apple trees growing on this side. There is some shade at the end of the rows to hang out if it's hot and the sun is blazing. The east patches have minimal shade while picking but the cafe is on that side. At the cafe you'll find the necessary -ice cream, jams, bbq sauce, drinks and pastries. They even have a blueberry mustard (I have not tried it). If you're lucky they have someone holding the falcons or hawks to talk about how they help with the farm. Pretty cool stuff.

I highly recommend this place for blueberry picking when August arrives! My friend took me here last year and we didn't try anything from their cafe so, this year, gotta rectify that! You line up and pay for your bucket first and then you are off to go picking! They mark the aisles of blueberries that are available for picking with a Canadian flag marker. Some of the other aisles are not ripe yet, etc. They offer three sizes of buckets and we reused our 4L one from last year. We were able to fill our bucket in approx 2 hours :) There are definitely some giant berries out there. We found quite a few the size of nickels and even quarters! Remember to go for the frosty blue ones! The pink and purple ones are way too sour hah. After picking, we dropped off the bucket in our car and headed to the cafe. There was a short wait as there is a 10 person limit. Sadly the highly anticipated lavender and blueberry ice cream were not available :( We ended up grabbing a slice of the blueberry cheesecake and a blueberry square. The cheesecake was rich and cheesy and topped with giant blueberries! I quite enjoyed the cake crust too. Wilmot Orchards is super fun and family friendly. You will see me here again next year for sure!

Came here last week with my family for blueberry picking for the first time. We love it! They have plastic basket or bucket depending which size you get, you will pick your berries with it for a fixed price. There are the 2L basket, 4L and 8L buckets. Not 100% sure if I remembered the price correctly but should be $13.5, $26.5 & $52 respectively. They also blocked some rows off to promote social distancing and for later dates. There are also another section opened down the road to further promote social distancing. The washrooms are portable ones.

Highly recommend! Had a great time picking blueberries in mid August. The prices were also very reasonable considering my friend FILLED up her bucket and only paid $20. I brought my own blue container and paid around $5, which is less than I'll ever pay at the supermarket for this haul! After picking blueberries, we went to their blueberry cafe and it's quite a cute place with everything blueberry! They had blueberry cheesecake, blueberry coffee, ice cream including lavender and blueberry flavours, and blueberry jams. I got the lavender ice cream in a waffle cone and recommend getting the cone as it's fresh and crispy! They also have seats and tables outside of the cafe with umbrellas for shade. Also, no port-a- potties here! The washrooms are in a trailer with 4 stalls with interesting plumbing. They are cleaner than port-a-potties and less smelly. Tips: If you forget to bring a container, you can purchase for $2. The best berries are in the back rows and not the front! They are bigger and juicier yum!

I am not usually a pick your own fruit person. But my experience at Wilmot Orchards might changed my mind. Rolls and Rolls of Blueberries bushes with all these fruits that ready to be picked was an exciting experience for kids and adults alike! Blueberries are picky about soil. They require one that is acidic, high in organic matter, and well-drained yet moist. pH should ideally be between 4 and 5. The harvest season is short so it is important to check their website for availability. Bring your own containers or buy one of their pail for $3. The blueberries is $2.95/lb. Pick as much or as little you want with no minimum of purchase. There is also a cafe and retail store on site where you can purchase fresh blueberries, blueberries made produce (jam and sauce), blueberries cheese cake and ice cream. Debit and Cash Only.

Their lavender ice cream is what keeps me coming back every summer but I feel like this year it's too sweet. The blueberries are so fresh & huge

We've been picking berries at Wilmots for at least 15yrs. it never gets old. The berries are amazing and if you have not yet tried the blueberry cheesecake, run don't walk to Appleberries café. Best cheesecake I've ever had.

We went on one of the last days of Blueberry season, but there was still a good amount of of berries left. As for the store we didn't have the same luck. I was lucky enough to get the last slice of cheesecake which was rich. The ice cream was delicious even though it didn't really taste like blueberries. Planning to come back next year to try their cookies.

They have a maximum of 10 people inside at a time (according to their website) however even though we booked a specific time frame, there was pretty clearly more than 10 people inside. Unlike some other zoos we went too, there was no real path to follow. It's basically a giant square with a small square on the inside. The outline of the larger square is filled with fenced in animals, and the inner square has fenced animals as well. Although its understandable they have an admission fee for the upkeep of the animals, I feel it should have included the feed. Other zoos are free admission and only charge for feed (ie. high park) so in terms of value, this is a bit below par. Finally, I would never say the animals are aggressive, however when trying to feed the goats, one of them bit the entire feed bag and ripped it away. As I'm an adult, this is fine as I am agile and athletic, however a small child could have easily gotten injured, so perhaps some more training would suffice.

Went mid August looking for something to do with my son. I though the admission price was kind of…read morepricey ($28 for 5 people), does not matter if you have 3 people, same price for the group and much smaller than I thought. You get to choose time slot and we only got 45 mins before we had to leave which was plenty of time mind you since it was really hot. Extra $5 for a bag of feed to feed the animals. My son enjoyed looking at the animals but I wish the price was per person so I don't have to pay the same amount even if I have a smaller family.

There's a small animal farm where you can see bunnies llamas ponies, turkeys, and donkeys. They were even some piglets! There are pony rides, wagon rides, and of course, pumpkin picking! Every spot at this farm is photo worthy! In the Boo barn, there was a small haunted house. In the food barn, there was your regular hotdogs, but there's also pumpkin curry and some delicious chili. Don't forget to pick up some hot apple cider! There's lots of outdoor seating as well as free parking. I'll definitely be back next year.

No one was checking your wristband (aka tickets) to board the wagon though-- wristbands were only checked when you exited the farm. So we essentially paid $40 extra for 4 pumpkins, as anyone could have gotten the wagon ride for free if they wanted. My kids enjoyed the witches lair and seeing the animals. My 3 year old had a quick pony ride for an extra $5, which she loved. The corn "maze" wasn't really a maze at all, and very small. They were all sold out of candy apples and pies by the time we were ready to purchase them. From what I saw, they had sausages/hot dogs, baked goods like rice crispie squares and brownies, cold drinks (pop/water), coffee and hot chocolate. Lots of opportunities for photo ops. All in all, not really impressed for the price we paid. Would be a 4-star review if it were half the price.

My best friend lives in Port Hope Canada two years ago for her birthday I bought her a gift…read morecertificate which she apparently never used. Lame. Fast Forward to my visit a couple of weeks ago. This was probably the funnest thing I did on my trip to Canada (well Duran Duran was pretty awesome too). It was hot as hell so the yoga was great because it was in the shade if you're going to do goat yoga plan on getting dirty. The goats poop on your mats and eat your hair but it's all worth it. Oh there's some super cuddly kids in there! The yoga was definitely the easiest yoga I've done because it was at your own pace we couldn't really hear the instructor so we kind of tried to follow along with people that work close to us that we watched. They asked that you bring a matt, which we didn't even think of. Luckilyish they had some spare mats and I'm glad I didn't bring my matt because they were filthy afterwards... Like with poop, dirt, and grass. There is a store and a goat Cafe. I heard so many good things about the goat Cafe but apparently they were out of everything even though we were at the beginning of the day. There were only 3 menu items available. I picked the pulled pork. It was so sweet it was inedible I took a bite and I couldn't eat anymore I actually returned it to the guy uneaten. He didn't even ask if I wanted a box, which I would have told him no it's horrible. So I don't recommend eating at the cafe at all. I did pick up a couple of cookies and goodies and they were dry and flavorless. The goat cheese was amazing!! I highly recommend picking up some goat cheese especially the gouda the gouda is good. They also have some really good grapefruit mint soda that I loved. He asked the lady what a favorite is and she says the goat fudge which I ate the other night and it was mediocre at best. On the website you can pick between yoga and a schmergel. Well if you're like me I was like what the hell is a shmurgle. It's where you walk around the farm with either goats or an alpaca pack. They also have overnight stays available we did consider it but then we thought oh no what if the goats scream... never mind. My friend never used her gift certificate because she wants to go do an alpaca shmurgle so she'll be back.
