A once every summer drive to Springridge never disappoints. A well-run operation from the farm to their own branding of jarred comestibles, which we drive out for every summer. Their BBQ sauces are literally like home made, including relishes, jams, chutneys, etc. Lots of activities for children, great café and croissants for the adults. Nice crowd frequenting this place. We always enjoy visiting. Their store carries lots of bits and pieces for the home, reminiscent of Cracker Barrel in the US. read more

Definitely a great place to spend the day - super family friendly. Went to Springridge farm during the weekend before Halloween - so it was quite busy. There are many activities including slides, tractor ride, corn maze trivia, feeding animals, sand box, and more. They also have a market and bakery where they sell a variety of items (baked goods, treats, clothing, art pieces). Towards the back of the farm there's a lot of grassland with a couple chairs and lookout spot (was definitely more peaceful back there). Highly recommend for the fall vibes - although I believe they cater to every season. read more

Springridge Farm is an amazing place to bring your children and spend a fun day. They would love i! You can access the farm easily from Highway 401 and QEW and there are tons of parking spots available in the parking lot. You will pay a flat rate to get into the "Fun Farmyard", but if you only want to buy pumpkins or go to the gift shop, you don't have to pay an entrance fee. Fun Farmyard has many amazing entertainment for kids such as spider web climber, tube slide, sandbox, farm animals, farm hoppers, wagon ride escarpment lookout. They also have singing chicken show every half hour. You can't pick your own pumpkin, they're pre-picked for you in different sizes, put at the entrance and you can choose the ones you like and pay for them. You can buy lunch at the farm, but it's not anything fancy or even delicious. The only fun item on their menu is "Sandbox Special" for kids, which they get so excited about: it has macNcheese, apple juice, chocolate chunk cookie, carrot sticks all in a sandbox pail. You can also buy many exciting farm products from their Barn Market; their fresh-baked pies are very popular. In addition, they have apple cider, honey, jam, sauces, frozen pies, etc. it's really fun to spend time in the Barn Market, too. read more

Unfortunately there are not a lot of activities here for a family with kids. For the cost, it is extremely overpriced. The tractor trailer ride is good but other than that the kids were done the 4 slides and pedal tractors within the hour. Really disappointed in the lack of activities. The food is just ok. I was introduced to this farm in fall after my old reliable closed down in the Markham area. This is the cutest farm! They have a counter where you can get lunch items like sandwiches and soups. There's a bakery on the inside where you can get fresh cookies, muffins, and danishes. If you want something to take home with you, they have frozen pies for sale where the freezers are. Some of what they have is seasonal so you'll see the fresh fruits and veggies change out, as well as how they are prepared. They have a huge selection of jams, pickled and preserved fruits and vegetables, and spices too. There's also a really huge selection of home decor that will also change depending on which holiday is near. They have a big select your own pumpkin patch with a variety of species around Halloween and they have freshly cut Christmas trees later on in the year. read more

Perfect place to take the kids! It was a brisk November morning, but the smell of freshly baked tarts and brewed coffee made up for it in no time. The butter tart melted in my mouth, my toddler devoured the cheese flaky pastry and licked the sugar off the cranberry muffin. The free tart and tea promo in Facebook was an added bonus. After a quick fuel up, the kids were ready to play outside. The barn was on the smaller side and has goats and chickens, and lots of cute bunnies. There were small and big tractors to climb on, haystacks that you had to climb to get to the top of the slides, a lookout area, small corn maze, rope climbing structure, etc. The bathrooms were clean and had a changetable and country-style plumbing (still flushable) for the toilets. There are events year round. I can't wait to take the kids back for more fun and shopping! (The barn is jam packed with home/seasonal decor, frozen baked goods, soup mixes and many many more). read more

What a wonderful discovery! The BF and I were driving up to Rattlesnake point to look at some fall foliage when we came across this farm! I love random farms and this one has got to be one of my faves! It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon and for good reasons as it was a beautiful sunny day. It's defs a family place. There were lots of children and lots of activities on site. I love fresh baked anything especially farm baked apple pies. There was a long line at their bakery but it went by very fast. I decided to get a whole apple pie (they did sell it by the slice too), an apple fritter for the BF, a sugar donut and a chocolate chunk cookie. The BF said the apple fritter was a little hard but good. The donut was yummy. Soft and delicious. The chocolate chunk cookie tasted a little a bit like chips ahoy but was obviously softer. The apple pie was so good! My family devoured it in a day and I only got one slice! I loved the pastry. I usually hate store bought apple filling but I don't remember having that feeling with Springridge's filling. Everything just goes together so well. I hope to return someday! It's such a cute place with lots to do! So happy we found this farm! read more

Spridgeride farm located on the escarpment is a quaint little family own farm inbetween the boarder of Milton and Burlington. They have a fun farm yard fo the kids and a cute little barn market that has small boutique and cafe with frozen meals, fresh produce , yummy baked goods & an interesting selection of jams , sauces & tapinades. Definitely neat to walk around inside the barn lots of cute stuff being sold. We love coming here with the fam jam. Even have ourselves a seasons pass that I get great use of. SERVICE Honestly, everyone at this farm is superrrr friendly. It's awesome. Farmer John - always remembers us when he gives the wagon tours .All the girls that work behind the counter as well always have a smile on their face its so refreshing. FOOD My kids chose the jam sandwich * obvi* for the sandbox lunch. it comes with a chocolate chip cookie, juice box & some carrots. I wish they made a grilled ham & cheese sandwich option for the kids. ANYWAYS No complaints from the little people,how ever I was a little disappointed with my curried chicken salad sandwich. SOO mild on the curry flavour. Don't get me wrong it tasted awesome and I think the portion size is hearty but it just wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It was more your typical chicken salad - I couldn't taste the curry at all. Nonetheless , tasty. PRICE I mean , this is a cute family run farm. I love love love this farm and our last visit was 2019. Its so huge, family friendly and tons of things to do. Too bad during COVID-19 this year they are unable to operate freely offering the wonderful activities they use to have for the children. It is understandable and we must all work together to flatten the curve. My son loves this place and so do we. Crossing our fingers that next year 2021 will be different and we can soon look forward to visiting this farm again with the endless activities and fun for the children. read more

A very nice place that is about 60km from Toronto! If you have kids, this is must to go and enjoy a true farm scenery and food. Pasty there is great and hot cider is amazing. Cakes are really yummy but prepare to pay around $20 for it. The house with souvenirs and other stuff for your home is almost always busy with people shopping around regardless of the season. Access to the Kids playground requires a fee of $7 which is normal but if you have an extended family the entrance fee might be something you would reconsider for the benefit of snacks and drinks. Overall it is a great place and it becomes especially popular during pumpkin festival! read more

We had the apple/Brie/ham sandwich, butternut squash soup with absolutely delicious cheddar chive biscuits and apple pie. We were very impressed! The reason why I'm only giving 4 stars is because the place was quite small so we didn't stay long. Would have been nice if there was more to do. read more

This place is super family friendly, lots of activities for young families. Easy drive up from Oakville, big huge privat parking lot and easy access. They have a Tractor ride that happens every 2 hours if I recall correctly, a few animals in enclosures ( Turkeys, Rabbits, Goats, Chickens and Doves ), a big sandbox with a lot of rusted outdated diggers and dumb trucks, a new track where kids can pedal on small toy tractors, hay mazes, slides and a climbing structure. Then of course you can pick strawberries, pumpkins and they also have corn I believe. Tons of fun for the little ones. The Gift shop is nice but also very pricey I find. The flower baskets that they carry in the spring/ early summer are gorgeous and humongous but they go for $60.- a piece. read more

I've been coming here with my mom since I was little and it still excites me today. When I was a kid we would go into the play area with farm animals slides and haybales to play on. Nowadays our biggest attraction is the food. Our lunch tradition is the apple brie and red pepper jelly sandwich with cherry tarts for dessert. They're baked goods are delicious I always look forward to taking some sweets home. Would definitely recommend this farm for people of all ages!! read more

Really great place - we have season passes & it's such a great value. The food is amazing - there isn't one bad thing we've tried on their menu. The farm play area is a fun place to spend a couple of hours - cute goats, bunnies & chickens...wagon ride, singing chickens, tube slides, bouncers, pedal tractors, sand pit, maze...a genuinely good time. The farmer who owns/runs the place is always around and he is super nice. Springridge is a real gem & definitely a highlight of Milton. read more

It's a fun place to go in the Fall (pre-Halloween), especially if Mother Nature grants you a beautiful day. A fantastic backdrop for family photos with Fall colours and pumpkins, cornstalks and haybales in the background. I've gone every year with family members and while the kids have a blast and it does seem to get better every year.....it also gets more and more expensive. It costs $11 for every visitor 2-years old or over. (An easy $44 gone for a family of 4) My two boys only wanted to run around in the haybales all day. The puppet show was cute, as was the "Boo Barn." The baked goods were delicious and everyone seemed to have a great time. Go at least once, it's a gorgeous part of Milton. Maybe hit Rattlesnake Point after the Farm. At least parking is free. Here's hoping the entrance fee doesn't increase to $12.00 next year. read more

The farm is a cute place for parents to bring their children for parties. There are animals and a playground. $4.00/person. In November I think it's free. When I first visited I was impressed with the gift shop and the bakery, but the animals were not very well taken care of. I know, it's a farm! But I mean the rooster was missing a few toes and it was fresh, well disregard that maybe there was an accident and I happens to visit at the wrong time. Great novelties in the gift shop and the apple pie is very delicious, I also love the cheese twists, make sure they warm them up for you. The have daily soups which are served with a nice soft biscuit and butter. The outside picnic tables are clean and you can enjoy a nice summer breeze. There is also a quite chubby chocolate lab, he will make friends with you in a minute hoping to get a bite of that biscuit you are eating. The only downside - it can easily get overcrowded. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday with my godson. It's mostly a play farm for kids with things like hay-bails, a huge sandbox with lots of Tonka trucks, a simple corn maze, etc. There was an option to feed the animals but I couldn't participate as I am allergic. The store inside is nice. I was greeted by an awesome looking Santa Claus. There are lots of special treats you can buy such as candy cane bark and a variety of hot chocolate mixes. There are also so many different holiday ornaments and figurines. They also sell baked goods such as gingerbread men and sausage rolls. The sausage roll was flaky and well seasoned. If you're thinking of putting a gift basket together, they also sell things like hot pepper jelly and spice rubs. I also got to paint a glass ornament for $5! I felt like I belonged with all the kids that were doing it too and didn't stick out. Teehee. You can also decorate a gingerbread cookie though I am not sure how much it cost. read more

Great place to take kids of the love of your life (if they like nature). They seem to have a lot of event going on at various times of the year. We went to the autumn festival which had a puppet show, tractor ride with corn maze and a mini haunted house. Everyone seems very happy to work there and the food we had was very fresh. Don't bother with the sausage biscuit but the rest of the stuff we had (sandwiches) were very good. There are some nice paintings there as well at a decent price. read more

Took my two minis here in the fall for a birthday party. Was a bit of a drive, but worth it. They had a blast! Giant playground made of hay bales Animatronic chicken show Kitschy kool gift shop Look out point Farm animals you can feed/pet (brings wipes!) BBQ (I don't believe it runs all year) Mini tractor races Pony rides Was busy, but good busy. I would say it's definitely a "kid" spot, but hey, if you kind of act like a kid, go for it. read more

Spring, summer, autumn or Christmas season, this place is a great getaway from the city. Fresh fruits and baked goods (but mediocre coffee), farm animals for viewing, and lots of picnic benches. They have a fun gift shop (on the second floor as well), and clean facilities (e.g. washrooms). Huge parking area. They used to do pick-your-own for strawberries and raspberries about 7 or 8 years ago, but this is no longer the case. Instead, they have paid group tractor rides through the farm. Springridge is a go-to for my family, and we have visited at least 20 times, at various times of the year. Once, we went and had an entire pie (+ danish, tart, cheese twists) on the patio on the first floor. It's really THAT good. Only cons are the coffee, which has no flavour profile, and the fact that it gets very crowded on weekends (except in the winter). Also, some of the animal viewing areas seem less than clean. Open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily, Spring to Christmas. read more

I don't have kids so can't speak to the attractions but am a huge fan of the gift shop/lunch counter. Been a customer for years, the preserves are amazing and the ploughman's lunch is delicious. Always pick up a jar of the Old Farmhouse Chutney when I visit my folks in Milton. The home decor items are well selected and the prices are reasonable. One year I ended up with a gold glitter Christmas tree that looks amazing in my condo. Great place to stock up on Christmas and hostess gifts. Many of the staff have been there for years and are very friendly and helpful. It can get busy when there are special events on so you may wish to avoid those weekends if you are just shopping. Very unacceptable in regards to selling restaurant food. There should at least be picnic tables outside instead of a couple of logs.

I cannot believe the 3 star reviews. For $9 per child (including pony ride), it is a fantastic bargain for everything available-tractor rides, mini tractor course, chickens, goats, rabbits, slides, corn maze and other kid-friendly activities The premises are beautiful and very well maintained. It's actually my favorite way to spend a day with kids bc they have so much fun and get to interact with animals. For $7.50 you can get a hot dog,chips and drink which I don't think is unreasonable considering McDonalds is more expensive than that. I also love their gift store. They have fantastic jam, honey, and other freshly made goods that make for great gifts. I lie coming here season round but Fall imo is the best. read more

2.5 stars. This place has good things and bad things. It's got a fantastic market and we often go there to get corn on the cob. Today we took my brother, his wife and their daughter who were visiting from Shanghai China. They wanted to see farm animals and interact with them. We brought them here after going strawberry picking at another site. We all loved the market as the produce and baked goods were fresh and the apple cider was to die for. However we didn't end up going to see the farm animals. The reason? At $7/person we felt it was too big of a rip off, especially with 4 adults and 1 baby. There are other places such as St. Jacob's in the Waterloo area where we can see and interact with farm animals for free. Considering we did spend money in the market, perhaps they should offer discount admission when you purchase goods in it, or at least a family pass. We'll go back for the market, defiantly not the animals. read more

Really love how everything is laid out and their curated selection of items in store is beautiful and I always get lost browsing here. We went to Springridge Farm with a school group of children with a variety of exceptionalities. We had booked ahead, and signed up for a package that included a guide/support worker, and picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch at the end of the day. The staff was completely unprepared for us, and extremely un-helpful. They sent us on the wrong wagon ride, didn't provide any sort of guide, made us pay a second time for the kids to pick pumpkins, sent us to go see a puppet show that didn't exist, and were unsure about where we should have lunch. The farm itself is nice, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The kids had a great time on the slides and playing in hay, but the farm staff was nowhere to be found for most of the day. read more

For $5 per person you get access to a few activities including corn maze, hay bale climber, tube slides, feeding animals ($), pony rides ($3), puppet show, rope climber and large sand box with trucks and diggers and a wagon ride. Weekends cost more than weekdays. There is ample parking and lots of picnic tables around the farm. Pumpkins were 3 for $20 and pie pumpkins 3 for $5. With no outside food or drink allowed on the farm... Obviously, food is over priced: cookies and pastries mostly $2-$3 sandwiches $6.99-$7.99 (that's just with standard grocery store bread) and kids meal $6.99. Gift shop has some unique items. But overall just okay. We were able to keep the kids entertained for 2 hrs in total (including 40 minutes for lunch and 2 bathroom breaks). Not the best, but not the worst! read more

Springridge Farm is awesome! We've been going there for years and it just keeps getting better. Their Fall Harvest Festival weekends are a ton of fun for the whole family. There are corn mazes, a petting zoo, a "Boo Barn" for the kids, pumpkin patches, apple picking, hay rides, etc. And you MUST get an apple pie! They are to die for! Yum! :) read more

Well, the pros were their pastries were amazing, the setting is realy nice, the views and the farm is picturesque. The cons, 1- It is not a petting zoo, kids are not allowed to pet animals and that broke my daughter's heart who begged everybody to pet the bunnies. 2- It is more suitable for young families (kids between 3 to 6). 3- Really pricey, come on small pie for $14, flower basket for $60, 4 coaster for $35 !!! can't deny that they are great products but the prices are ridiculous. Might go there again, if I'm in the area to have a quick coffe and some tasty pastery. read more

Brought my kids there after it being recommended, however I was severely disappointed. The claim they have a petting zoo, their idea of a petting zoo is feeding some goats through a fence. Only small animals there(goats, chickens, turkeys and rabbit). Very lame electronic puppet show. My daughter was bored within the first 10 minutes. Cost is $5 a person to be able to use their family fun yard which has some pathetic slides, a microscopic corn maze (took my 2 year old 2 minutes to go from beginning to end). The pedal tractors that are set up for the younger ones to ride are in pathetic condition, half of them are missing pedals. Pony rides cost an additional $3, and that was the only worthwhile thing there, at least my son got a good little ride around the oval course for $3. We were unable to pick any berries, and the ones they had for sale in the store were nasty looking. The ladies running the store are very pleasant, however the people working the rest of the "farm" (and I use that term very loosely) I found to be unhelpful and rude. Not to mention that we ordered 3 hotdogs and 3 drinks and it cost me almost $25 for a gross undercooked hotdog. I will never go back again. Bronte provincial park has a way better petting zoo and is worth the extra money! read more
