Although the place looks nice the staff are very unprofessional My dog stayed here and within 3 hours sustained a injury and lacerations or puncture wounds to her back legs and chin. The staff made one phone call to myself and wifes cell with no voicemail while we were away on our vacation within Ontario. Although they took her to the Vet to get stapled, the staff made no attempts after to contact us to inform us of anything.. We finally found out after calling Redwood on our drive home 2 days later asking if they would stay open an extra 10 minutes after closing due to traffic. Only then the staff alerted us of her injuries and on top of that they wouldn't even stay open so we can get her. We had to have a sleepless night waiting until the next morning to pick her up. Our dog stayed in a 4 feet x 5 feet cage for two nights with injuries without us knowing. Picking her up was a nightmare. I had been asked to pay all bills even vet bills before I was 'Allowed" to see her or take her home. on top of that I was to be "given a opportunity" to see her injuries through a glass window. After debating and arguing with an incompetent staff they finally let me have her. Some follow up was made by the owner only after 2 days of picking her up as they were away for a dog show and were'nt available to deal with this. Even with the follow up no answers were given and we are still wondering what happened and why no contact was made and why our dog would need to be confined in a cage with injuries. Also my brothers number who is local, was provided in case something happened. He was not contacted at all. Only one follow up call was made to me after the initial discussion with the owner to see how my dog was doing. Although fees were waved the staff was very unprofessional. I have not contacted them regarding my vet bills either.

I love having the access to the cameras so I can watch Blue anytime I want. This location is smaller but I find that the employees knew everyone's name, dog and owner, as soon as they walked in the door. I find this more personable and welcoming. This boarding place is a great middle ground between having Cat sitters and boarding at a vet. Your Cat is boarded in rooms with many suites that opens into a hallway. You can pick suites with windows or even birdfeeders for extra cost. The price for additional Cats is significantly less than the initial Cat. All the Cat's needs are provided for such as water, litterbox cleaning, and daily free roaming into that hallway. I believe you need to supply your own food, I had to since my Cats are on prescription kibble. What sets this place apart from Cat sitters is that they can administer Cat medication, as one of mine needed eye drops. My 2 Cats stayed there for 1 week and the price was pretty reasonable. I can definitely tell my Cats didn't drink enough water as they wolfed it down when back home. Lastly this is only relevant during covid restrictions, but with contactless pickup, make sure your Cat isn't skittish af. One of my Cats has trauma when rescued so she fought for her life to not get put into her carrier by the employee. I would personally request to put that Cat into the carrier yourself, to avoid contributing to the place's smell and avoid needless bleeding. The employee working that day needs a raise or something...
