Their food quality is a 1 star rating. There's not even one dish that is appealing to me at all. BRIEF RATING :: All of their food is mediocre. I felt like they're not that generous on seasoning each dish. It had a light scent and flavor but it's not enough to give a "WOW" taste. It's a tease taste on each dish. The first bite into any dish feels like "oh it smells good. Does it taste good?" And then as I bite into it and swish it around in my mouth, I can barely taste any flavor. It's a meh/whatever taste. All of their savory meat choice taste almost exactly the same; orange chicken, jalapeno chicken, black pepper chicken etc. Here's a few more brief description of some popular choice: FRIED RICE : Question is, why is the rice so dry, hard and crispy? It's flavorless too. CHOWMEIN : The noodle taste like spaghetti noodles. PURPLE STEAM BUN : Great bread but the filling taste like clorine water from an adventure park. PIZZA : Taste like a generic Chuckee Cheese pizza. FOOD QUALITY : It's sad how majority of the dishes are over cooked, hard, and dry. SERVICE: Great customer service. The works were fast, friendly and very attentive. They kept our table clean and free from plates stacking. They also kept the dishes filled up quick. RATE : 5/5 AMBIANCE : The noise level is medium. They played a variety of ethnicity music. Here's the good part about King Buffet, they are squeaky clean. From the bathroom to lobby, dinning area, dishes warmer, drink station, walls, corners, etc. you name it, it's all pristine! RATE : 5/5 OVERALL : Everything is just under seasoned and the quality is not there. I love their service and sqeaky clean store!

We visited King Buffet today after spending the day exploring Sequoia National Park. It was close to our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Honestly, many buffets feel pretty similar, but this one really won us over. First of all -- the price! It was only $20 per person, and that already included unlimited drinks -- which was a big plus because my boys love to drink a lot during meals. The food selection was huge and constantly refilled. I was especially impressed by the baked mussels in a spicy sauce -- a little jalapeño, some red pepper, perfectly seasoned -- they were so delicious I had two full plates! I also loved the donuts. They reminded me of home -- just simple dough fried in oil with sugar. They tasted exactly like the donuts we have back in small cafés in Russia. It was such a cozy, nostalgic moment. The french fries were amazing -- crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly tasted like the rustic-style potatoes we used to bake at home. The boys really enjoyed the fried rice with vegetables, the crispy chicken wings (they were hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked with no weird aftertaste), the french fries, the shrimp in the buffet line, and of course, the desserts. The place was pretty busy, but they seated us quickly because they have plenty of tables and even a banquet hall open. The staff worked fast -- they cleared dirty plates right away, were very attentive, and the atmosphere overall was warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try the ice cream, but they do have it -- soft serve in cones. I always ask myself after visiting a new place: Would I come back? In this case -- absolutely yes! I'd love to come back again, but we live in San Diego, so it would only happen if we're in the area again. If I could give them 10 out of 10, I would. Great job to the whole team -- you made our dinner so enjoyable!

This is mama cat it took her home

I found a cat in my food like a real still alive cat like atleast cook it first and RICKY the manager smelled like flowers and gave every single tip to his employees.

The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean, the bathroom is clean, the staff is very friendly, they wipe the table all the time, collect the dishes all the time, there is someone sweeping the floor all the time. They try to keep the restaurant clean all the time. The price is not too expensive, just right. There are many types of food to choose from, there is seafood, Japanese food, ice cream, desserts, everything is delicious.

Very clean and friendly Food was good like your typical buffet place The workers kept your table clean by coming around frequently and picking up plates and trash.

    I always eat like a *King* when I dine here * 6 May 2023 *

We love the Rosa's in Bakersfield, so we took it as a sign this restaurant would be just as good. Come to find out, the owners are related and they all thought it would be a good idea to name their restaurants after their grandmother, Rosa. They are also related to the Rosa's in Pismo. Luigi is the owner in Visalia and he takes great pride in his Rosa's. We came on a night where some things were not working as expected; however, Luigi was all over taking care of everything. He was honest about what was going on. As a diner, that allows me to have more grace than if I were sitting there trying to figure out what was happening. There is nothing that should keep you from having a great meal at Rosa's because the owner and staff will be tending to every detail to make it a great night out. I really like the layout of the restaurant. There is a lot of seating. You can come on your own or with a large group. There is a bar with individual seating in the back. The food was what we expected. We shared a plate of veal and chose the pasta with Alfredo sauce. It was very good and I am glad we chose to split the meal. The bread they bring to the table was perfect and I loved it. We overdid it a little by also ordering the cheesy bread, but it was just too good. We had a nice conversation with the owner as we were leaving and look forward to visiting again.

The upstairs feels like a classic restaurant, while the downstairs has a cool speakeasy vibe that makes the experience even more unique. We ordered an appetizer, pizza, pasta, and the pistachio cake, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza had the perfect amount of cheese for that satisfying cheese pull. The pasta wasn't just one-dimensional. Everything was perfectly seasoned, tasted fresh, and the quality really stood out. The pistachio cake was the perfect ending to the meal. It had just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the distinct pistachio flavor to shine through, complemented by a subtle hint of coconut that made it even more delicious. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Which I am…read morepersonally obsessed with, because nothing gives me a baseline level of panic quite like having to make awkward eye contact with a server every four minutes just to beg for a refill. So having a massive jar of soda already right in front of me? Huge win. Now, moving on to the slightly traumatizing part: they did not bring out bread to the table. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but if I am sitting down for Italian, table bread is not an optional courtesy--it is a fundamental human right. And it became an even bigger issue when my fettuccine arrived, because the portion size was... let's just say aggressively small for a dinner entree. I was expecting a meal, not a decorative sample. However... it was infuriatingly good. They make their own pasta fresh in-house, and the texture was honestly undeniable. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza, and he literally declared--with complete, uncharacteristic enthusiasm--that it was hands-down the best Margherita pizza he has ever gotten. So, massive points there. What was not a massive point, however, was the subterranean seating situation. We were escorted downstairs into the basement, which was pitch black. But more importantly: the stairs are completely unlit. I'm sorry, but they are actively asking to get sued. It is a litigious nightmare waiting to happen. Someone is going to take one wrong step in the dark, tumble down that staircase, and own the entire restaurant by next Tuesday. They are practically begging for a lawsuit. That being said... despite the pitch-black staircase of death and the tragic lack of dinner rolls, overall? I really liked it. The food completely won me over, and I would definitely go back. I will just be bringing a flashlight and my own emergency focaccia next time.

Unfortunately their specialty cocktails weren't included but they were reasonably priced regardless. *Artichoke, Spinach, and Cheese Dip: had a grainy, chunky texture made predominantly from the artichoke. There needed a better mixer and creamy element. The flavors resembled a thick pesto. The toasted bread was the best part. *Spicy Calamari: nicely fried but a tad too salty. Would have appreciated a lemony component to cut through the grease. *Garlic Fries: thicker cut with slight crisp. They were garlicky but the Parmesan left a strange aftertaste. *Green Tea Shot: pleasantly fruity and the pour was generous. The service was friendly and we look forward to when they'll hold music nights again. Ultimately the drinks tasted better than the food. Needless to say we weren't the only ones waiting. With the wait aside we absolutely LOVED our mains! The Gnocchi in the pink gorgonzola sauce was amazing! The gnocchi were soft, pillowy, and cheesy. The sauce was creamy with a sweetness from the tomato sauce with a slight acidity. Highly recommended. The ravioli rustica was delicious. Perfectly cooked ravioli were stuffed with spinach and cheese and sauced with a creamy sweet pea puree. All topped with slivered almonds, which added a nice nuttiness to the dish. Needless to say we cleared the plates. Dessert was their special pistachio tort. A flourless pistachio cake topped with rich chocolate ganache and more crushed pistachios. Rich and decadent. We also ordered their Crème Brûlée. Creamy, smooth, with a slight sweetness. The burnt sugar was perfectly torched with a great crackle. Would order again. A great experience nonetheless. I understand that Mother's Day is a busy day for restaurants, but being busy does not give a business a free pass to surprise customers with excessive charges or deliver poor food and service. The 20% surcharge felt unfair and left a very bad impression. I willnot return, and I would strongly recommend that customers check their bill carefully before paying. I'm sorry I forgot to take pictures of our meals, but I did get some of the Calabrian items pictured on a table card. Hope that helps. The service from our waiter,, Alec, was tremendous. He kept our drinks full, our breadsticks re-ordered and checked several times for special needs. Due to this wonderful experience, I'm much more apt to return before another year is over after the fine food and Service we all enjoyed yesterday. Hope to see you there.

I really wanted to love the meal at BrewBakers this past Friday, but unfortunately, the kitchen…read moremissed the mark on a classic. I ordered the French Dip, which should be a slam dunk for a pub-style spot, but it lacked the basic execution that makes that sandwich great. The Main Event: French Dip * The Bread: This was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't toasted, grilled, or even brushed with a little butter. It felt like an afterthought, leaving the texture of the sandwich completely uninspired. * The Meat: The tri-tip was sliced thin and seemed okay, though it had that "pre-cooked this morning" vibe rather than being fresh off the block. * The Au Jus: A French Dip lives and dies by the dip. Unfortunately, this was essentially bland beef broth--watery and lacking any deep, salty, or beefy complexity. The Silver Lining The meal wasn't a total wash, thanks to the sides. The fries arrived piping hot, crispy, and seasoned well. Paired with a side of their ranch, they were easily the best part of the plate. Final Verdict: If you're going for the atmosphere and a cold beer, it's a win. But if you're craving a high-quality sandwich, you might want to look elsewhere until they step up their bread game.
