I wanted a gift card for my daughter for Christmas - and was talked into a 3month "membership" which I got. Well it's time for her to make an appointment, so she called and emailed and got a confirmation text. She got to the shop at her confirmed appointment time and it was closed, locked up tight, lights off - Never notified. Complete waste of $200 on this. Horrible customer service - ZERO communication. It's just horrible. On the site, they'd obviously rather teach others how to do this themselves than offer the service that made them relatively popular in the first place. Sad.

As I'm walking out they said I can have a free session I just have to sign up. Did not realize I would be paying MORE money after the women took my card and used the card machine HERSELF. Literally came in the next day to cancel my membership and get my fee back that is clearly stated on the contract that I got emailed and some how the manager is saying otherwise even though that is a legal document. I had fair skin and came out looking like an orange jersey shore girl.

FYI ONCE SPRAY WAS $35. On Valentine's Day they are doing them for $30. The lady at the front desk was really lovely, I might misspell this but her name was Kryssia! She took the time to explain to me how their spray tans work, from light to medium to dark. You an also add an accelerator or scent or even extra bronze! She showed me how the machine works since I was a little bit nervous to repeat a Ross Galler situation (if you don't get that reference, I can't help you) and talk to me through using the hairnet and I really liked how they had temporary shoes peel off a couple tabs and they stick right to the bottom of your foot so you don't have to experience any ick! The machine wanted itself so you weren't freezing, and had built-in drying. I have to say the machine made a couple noises probably an older machine, but I'm excited to see if it did the trick. I will certainly be returning and try the medium since I opted for the late and didn't want to overdo it on my first try.

This was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had…read more Before going, I called the Pantops location directly to ask if I could bring my baby in a stroller for a spray tan. The employee I spoke with was kind and clearly told me it would not be a problem. Based on that, I drove over 30 minutes to the salon with my son. When I arrived, I set up my account, paid, and was ready to go back when the assistant manager, Sarah, came up and said my baby was not allowed in the back and I would have to leave and come back another time. When I explained that I had specifically called ahead to confirm this, she tried to tell me I must have called the corporate office--which was completely untrue. I repeated the exact number I called (the Pantops location), and instead of taking responsibility, she doubled down and refused to acknowledge the mistake. There was no apology, no attempt to fix the situation, and no effort to make it right--despite the fact that I had just driven over 30 minutes each way with a baby based on incorrect information from their staff. I also had to specifically ask for a refund; it was not offered upfront. Yes, I ultimately received my money back--but that does not excuse the wasted time, unnecessary trip, and dismissive attitude. The issue wasn't just the policy, it was the complete lack of accountability and basic customer service. If this is how new customers are treated, I would not recommend this location.
