Monica did an amazing job with my spur of the moment haircut. This woman knows how to texturize thick hair. I highly recommend her.

Wow! What an empowering experience. From the beginning Rami made sure I was comfortable and did…read morewhat she could to ease my nerves. She made it easy! You don't have to know how to pose your body or face, she will direct you to make sure she captures you in the most flattering way. I went in thinking I would be happy if I could pick 10 photos I liked and I actually struggled to get the selection down to 25! I felt so confident in the results and that feeling has stuck with me days later. I cannot wait for my future husband to see his wedding gift! I highly recommend Black Lace Boudoir and Rami to anyone that is looking to feel like a super model!

I've done two sessions with Black Lace Boudoir, and I can say without hesitation--it changed my…read morelife. After surviving a 13-year abusive marriage, I had completely lost my sense of self. My therapist suggested doing a boudoir session to reconnect with the parts of me that had been buried under years of emotional pain. At first, I didn't think it was possible. I didn't feel beautiful, strong, or worthy. I didn't even recognize myself anymore. I searched everywhere for the right photographer, but nothing felt right--until I spoke with Rami. From the very first phone call, it felt like I was talking to someone who truly saw me. She was kind, patient, and incredibly compassionate. At the time, I couldn't afford the session, and instead of turning me away, she told me she'd wait. That kind of empathy is rare. When the day finally came, I visited the client closet--an absolute treasure trove of lingerie, shoes, and accessories in every size from 0 to 6/7X. I felt included. I felt considered. And for the first time in years, I felt excited. The day of my session, I was pampered with professional hair and makeup (included!) by an incredibly talented artist. And when I stepped in front of the camera, Rami guided me with grace and care. It didn't feel forced or awkward. It felt like healing. When I saw my photos later that same day, I cried. Not out of sadness, but because I finally saw myself--the strength, softness, beauty, and resilience that had been there all along. I've since gone back for a second session and will absolutely do another. I recommend Black Lace to any woman--especially those coming out of trauma, battling depression, or simply feeling lost. Rami doesn't just take beautiful pictures. She helps you rediscover yourself. This was more than a photo shoot. It was the beginning of my healing. And I'll never stop being grateful.

The WORST NAIL SALON IN Virginia!…read more I will NEVER go here again or refer anyone to this salon. I have been a client here for 5 months. I had an appointment on Wednesday and paid $100.98. I receive immediate notifications and emails from my bank account whenever a withdrawal exceeds a certain dollar amount. The owner claimed that I did not pay her. I showed her that the transaction was complete and that the money had been withdrawn from my account. The owner sent the POLICE to my HOME this afternoon (Friday), claiming that I did not pay $100.98 for the services on Wednesday. Naturally, the police were on my side because I showed them the SAME notifications and bank transactions I had shown the owner on Wednesday. My husband and I are both DOCTORS with businesses (one practice being only doors up from this nail salon!) and can certainly afford the measly $100.98 that this owner sent the POLICE in an attempt to collect what was ALREADY PAID ON WEDNESDAY!!!! Clear harassment and racism on their part!!!

I was excited to have a place to get my eyebrows waxed so close to home. I took my daughter to…read moreHoney on my way out of town for a large convention. I am a creator of custom jewelry and fine art and I sell my creations face to face at conventions. We were taken back right away. We were excited as the salon is new and beautiful. A woman took my daughter back and she came out with well done brows. Turns out her technician was the owner. I got up to go in and another lady came for me. Kelsey. As she waxed me she explained that she was from Hair Cuttery and that she had only been cutting hair for 2 years. She said the owners knew her mother and brought her in to cut hair. I was unsure why she was waxing my eyebrows if she was a stylist and tbh I wouldn't let anyone at hair cuttery touch my eyebrows. Honestly that's why I come to a nail Salon. I was not used to being waxed so long but I tried to be hopeful. When she finished and showed me the mirror I could see the hole in my eyebrow. I could also see the redness all around my eyebrows, and I instantly knew this was a fail. I wanted to leave immediately. I didn't want her to touch anything else so I got up we paid walked out to the parking lot and I got a better look at my eyebrows. It was awful and my face was so sore. I knew I was going to have to face my customers so my daughter suggested I go in and talk to the owner who did hers and see if she could fix it. The owner took me back and cleaned it up as best she could. She told me that when I came back for eyebrows to specifically ask for her and that's where this would have ended, and I would've given three stars and said the management was great. However, all weekend, long my skin on my eyelid seeped and scabs formed because so much skin had been removed as she kept going in and waxing and waxing and waxing. My eye was puffy and stung awfully. I had to answer "oh my what happened to your eye" about 300 times over the course of my convention. I was livid and as soon as I got back into town on Monday, I went to the salon and the ladies there looked at my eye, took pictures of it, and said that I should come back the next day and talk to the owner. The ladies, they all asked me who did my eyebrows and when I told them Kelsey, they acted un surprised. I did go back the next day and that's where this salon got one star. The owner, whose name is Tina, saw my eye now in person and she had the pictures of it. She told me to put Neosporin on it and that was it. She did not apologize. She did not offer me my money back. She did not try to make it right at all. She simply acted like she wanted me to leave more than anything. There were other customers there, and her biggest concern was them not hearing what we were talking about. This convention for me, was a place to meet my customers face-to-face. To leave a lasting impression that I only get to make one time. What if I was a bride??? What if in all my wedding pics I had scabs on my eye? To show no sympathy or care at all?? I am very disappointed as I was so looking forward to having this place to visit, but I will continue to drive into Fredericksburg rather than risk permanent scarring on my eyelids. Kelsey should never be allowed to touch wax again. I really hope that they keep her cutting hair and not maiming people. Awful. Pics show the hole on one brow, the other over waxed brow, and then the scabs.
