My husband knows by now: when it comes to an outing of lunch or dinner, the siren song of kin.d96's sushi is too strong to resist. While he's off exploring the exotic lands of curry, Pad Thai, and ramen (which he raves about, by the way), I'm in a committed, passionate relationship with their sushi. Honestly, every single thing we've ordered has been top-tier. And their miso soup? It doesn't just hit the spot, it makes MISO ridiculously happy I might burst into song. The staff here are like ninjas - quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly. We're usually in and out faster than you can say "extra spicy mayo" (think 30-45 minutes), which is perfect for us. With a menu so vast its perfect for everyone. This cozy, quaint gem is the ideal spot for a lunch or dinner date or just to get your delicious fix. Just be warned: you might develop a sushi obsession like mine!!!

    Spicy beef salad

Actually ordered quite a few items so that I would have leftovers for the next two days hopefully. I had a spicy beef salad, which I thought needed a zip of something because the dressing wasn't enough. It's a lime dressing and I had asked for a little more because it wasn't quite enough to cover my salad. The steak in the salad was quite tough to chew. I would rather I should have asked for shrimp instead. Normally, this is my favorite Thai entrée, but it didn't quite hit the spot today. For an appetizer, I had a spicy tuna handle, which wood, wonderful and fresh. I also had the lightly breaded calamari with a sweet dipping sauce and it was very tender. I had the Tom Kha shrimp soup with tofu and it was perfectly flavored. That will be a nice heat up meal for the evening when it's cold. And lastly, I also ordered the Thai basil fried rice and I thought that was a bit overcooked and mushy. I took a few bites but got the rest to go, and I will have to put it in a pan and fry it with some more onions, bell peppers, basil and scrambled eggs with a little sesame oil and fry it to crispy. The entire staff was very friendly, and I sat at the sushi bar where they made my tuna hand roll. They were very polite and friendly, and my server checked on me quite a few times and brought me anything I needed. She was very accommodating. I had asked for some chili powder and some more dressing for the salad. Before I left, she also brought me plenty of to go bowls and boxes and I ordered a mango Boba tea with strawberry pearls and it was quite yummy. I've eaten here before and I'm sure I'll be back because they have a huge selection of items. I would love to try.

I love ZAAP, and I heard that Thai Pepper, ZAAP, and Kin.D96 were all owned by the same owners though there are some differences in menu (like Kin.D96 has ramen when ZAAP doesn't). With that in mind, I felt as though I would greatly enjoy food from Kin.D96. We stopped by one night, and it was pretty busy. Most tables were filled, but we were promptly seated. Already, I liked the atmosphere of ZAAP much more, they seem cleaner and have nicer decor. Kin.D96 seems to be a smaller place as well, and with all people, possibly felt like a smaller space. Despite how busy it seemed, we ordered and got our food pretty quick. Massaman curry is great as always. The duck in their duck noodle soup was good, still had a crunch and the dish itself wasn't overly oily. The roll and calamari were good, but I wouldn't get them again. Now the ramen... I'm conflicted. The eggs were close to being perfectly jammy. The portion of meat was nice and cooked well. The toppings were a good touch. The noodles weren't soggy and had a good texture. The broth confuses me slightly. It had a sweetness I wasn't expecting. It wasn't bad, just more forward than other broths I've had. Overall, I would say the ramen is good, especially considering the location. Now if you were in Atlanta or the greater Atlanta area, that's another story.

Legitimately the best restaurant in middle Georgia....extremely authentic Thai dishes and flavor. Sushi is insanely fresh. The portions are ginormous and all around just a must try if you are in the area.

Ramen with spicy miso broth and fried tofu

Excellent ramen and excellent service. The place is a little small, but they utilize the space well to seat as many people as possible. I ordered the ramen without pork katsu and with spicy miso broth and fried tofu. The first serving had pork dumplings in it. I asked that they remake it, I am not sure why they did that when I specifically told the server no meat. Anyway, they remade it and all the meat was gone, except the fish cake. Despite all of that, the food was flavorful, hearty, had tons of tofu and I would return. I would just make sure to list all the items to exclude.

Love this place when we have a sushi craving. I cannot remember the name of the rolls in the photos. Just show and ask the sushi chef. Great service, great fresh sushi. The ambiance is nice. Small, quaint environment. From the outside it doesn't look open bc the window tint on the window. I even gone in there late (like 30 mins before closing) and they still served us and did not make you feel rushed.

    Salmon Hand Roll

During my visit here, I'm from Arizona, my best friend recommended a local sushi place. I ordered the ramen and salmon hand roll while my 7-year-old enjoyed the beef teriyaki. The portions were generous, and I had leftovers for days. The teriyaki beef was on the sweeter side but still delicious, and the salmon hand roll was fresh and tasty. My favorite was the Tonkotsu ramen was my favorite. My friend tried the Pumpkin Curry and loved it. The service was attentive, and I was grateful for the recommendation. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it an excellent choice for anyone craving Asian cuisine.

Stopped by to grab lunch with a group of 6. The restaurant is pretty small inside but service is quick to get people in and out. Additionally, there's a sushi bar where you can sit. The menu is a combination of sushi and thai with some great options for whatever you're feeling. I stuck with the sushi and just got a salmon roll and a play boy roll. Overall, good service, good food, calm atmosphere inside.

The food was really good. Tasted like thai comfort food. The curry pad thai was a nice choice if you crave both curry and pad thai but dont know which one to get. Dinner for 2 plus a boba tea was about $52 with tip. The pad thai's are on the pricey side. I didnt think it was all that special apart from other thai places. I would come here for the sushi only. The menus have so much to choose from! If you like having a lot of different choices, you will like this restaurant. Personally, I like to choose dishes from restaurants that are really excellent at preparing limited menus (as opposed to having many choices but sacrificing quality). Staff was friendly. 3 stars due to the high price. The ZAAP thai food place has a bit better prices and the pad thai tastes fresher. Also, my boba tea was half ice.

Good Thai restaurants are hard to find so I was pleasantly surprised with Kin.D96. My husband and I were in the area on a Saturday afternoon a tad before 5pm and decided to dine here. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. There is a decent amount of parking but if you arrive during peak hours, I can imagine parking possibly being challenging. When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly staff and was seated immediately. The restaurant was small so I'm glad we arrived early and was able to get a table with no wait. I enjoyed the smooth music playing and the cozy intimate ambiance. Everything was clean including the restroom. Our waitress was very attentive. For appetizers we ordered the spring rolls and the calamari, both came with sauces that paired well and they were scrumptious. We had the choice of a house salad or miso soup with our meals so we both chose the salad which came with ginger dressing. I loved my salad it was fresh, and the dressing was tasty. My entree was stir fried D Mixed Vegetables with shrimp very spicy. My meal was excellent fresh veggies spicy but not overbearing and flavorful. My husband enjoyed his shrimp Pad Thai as well. If you are looking for good Thai food this is the restaurant to come to. Next time I plan to try the sushi.

    Crab Siam

I was pleased with my meal at Kin.d96. The sushi rolls are massive, especially the speciality rolls. I went with the green lantern roll and I was full after one full roll and a small appetizer. The menu is quite large and a bit overwhelming between the sushi and Thai options available. I would've gone with the noodles if I hadn't ordered the sushi. Pricing was fair, our gratuity was automatically included after our order as well although we did have a group of 6 and paid separately. The feel of the restaurant was calm and inviting. Room at the bar area was unique. I enjoyed my experience here at Kin.d96

This place was so delicious! We came for my brother in laws birthday. They were able to accommodate our party of 10 comfortably and together. Our waitress was super sweet and verified our orders back to us, I always appreciate that touch. The food was so good. We shared pad prik king with beef level 2 spice. It was just enough heat to enjoy the flavor for me, my husband could have gone with 3 or 4 level but since we shared it was perfect for me. We also had the crab Siam and play boy roll. Everything was seriously so good. I will most certainly be back! Our boys had the chicken teriyaki kids meals and they really enjoyed it as well. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back!

Time to eat some amazing sushi.

I recall it being a lovely experience, nice ambiance, great presentation and the food was decent but at the time not memorable. Fast forward to years later I now live in middle Georgia and decided to give Thai Pepper another try. It was a Thursday evening and I ordered to go. Their website was user-friendly and the offerings were similar to all the other Thai restaurants in the area except for one dish. My favorite dish to order is Broccoli in brown sauce. I added tofu to my dish and asked for it to be extra spicy. I also ordered spring rolls. The staff was amicable, when I picked up my order. The ambiance is quaint but still very inviting. My meal was delicious, nice and spicy, the tofu was cooked perfectly and the veggies all tasted fresh. My spring rolls were crispy and very tasty. This dish was a winner so glad I finally found a Thai restaurant that offers it. This is a perfect restaurant to bring a date or meet up for lunch.

The steak teriyaki reminded me of hibachi due to the accompanying yum yum sauce, but I didn't taste any of the sweetness from teriyaki, mostly butter from the steak and vegetables. I am unsure if they served us teppanyaki instead of teriyaki. The massaman curry tasted as expected, though the chicken was a bit bland, and the curry didn't coat it well enough. The P Goy Sap roll tasted fine, though there was only avocado on 3 of the pieces. The tonkotsu ramen was alright. Nothing special, but the eggs were cooked a bit too long.
