    Sizzling Rice Soup
    Jenny L.

I never really set my expectations high for Chinese restaurants. I know I will be extremely disappointed if I do that. If a Chinese restaurant has the word sushi in their name, there's definitely something wrong and 100% not authentic. I ordered the sizzling rice soup (for two) , honey walnut shrimp, beef and broccoli, and since I did not see mapo tofu dish, I ordered the mandarin fried bean curd. Service: I ordered online for delivery and it said it would take up to 45 min for it to deliver, to my surprise it only took 20 so that was nice. Food: Soup - decent. Really light flavor. The fried rice did not produce the sizzle effect even after reheating the soup so that was a little disappointing since that's the highlight of the soup Honey walnut shrimp - the shrimp and walnut was drenched in sauce. I have never seen so much sauce on this dish before. It does not have the sweet glaze over the shrimp and walnut like it's supposed to be. It was also cooked with broccoli, which is not how it's traditionally cooked. Overall super disappointed. Mandarin fried bean curd - I absolutely love mapo tofu and I was sad to see it was not on the menu. I substituted the fried bean curd hoping it would be half as good but I was too hopeful. I did not enjoy the dish in the slightest. Beef with broccoli - it's hard to mess this dish up. There's only so many ingredients. Luckily, it tasted decent. Overall experience: Mediocre. I would not dream of coming back here. I only ordered food from here to get a taste of what locals deemed "good" Chinese food. This is definitely not even close to my standards of what Chinese food should taste like. Their menu is too spread out because they're trying to please everyone's cravings for Asian food. I believe they would be better off focusing on 1 type of Asian food and perfect that instead of having Chinese, Japanese, Thai, etc. It honestly baffles me and literally makes no sense. Will not be coming back here if I'm ever in the mood for Asian food.

Nice find. Thought this was just your run of the mill small Chinese take out restuarant. Went inside it is actually two of the small store spaces made into a small sit down restuarant. The Food was excellent, some of the best tasting in the area. I will add this to my list of places to eat.

Wish this place was closer to our house so we could eat it more often! Portion sizes are good for the prices. Friendly staff. Both Japanese & Chinese dishes were delicious! Highly recommend.

Soft Shell Crab Tempura. I think fake crabmeat from you local grocery taste better than this. Paid $7.95, not worth it.

Stay away from this place, it doesn't even deserve a 1 star. I tried this place out last week since the other asian restaurants were closed and let me tell you: what a clusterfuck of a menu they have. +1 and I walked in, and we noticed all the employees were having lunch, they looked at us like we owe them money. The decor is seizure-inducing. I was so overwhelmed by the menu, but not in a good way; you get chinese, japanese and attempt at thai cuisine...all at the same time! Ordered food, wasn't impressed. I am a bit disappointed I couldn't try their green milk tea...it just never came, even though I ordered it.

    The regular sushi plate.

I ha the regular sushi plate... It was quite good. The miso soup was ok... The salas had a great Ginger based dressing. If given the choice I would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing sushi, I always get spicy tuna roll so good compared to other places in town. Rock and roll spicy tuna is way too spicy.

Great food but every time I give it a try, there's a hair in my dish. Please wear gloves or something. Unfortunately, it's a deal breaker.

My rice was cold, the meat was cold, the sauce was lumpy like it had not been thawed out all the way. The sauce was over barring and I ended up just eating whatever plain rice was left in the middle of my cold pile of rice. We also ordered the gyoza ... wasn't a fan it was slimier than I'm used to with steamed gyoza. I'll come back and try the noodle dish since that seemed to be a hit with everyone in the restaurant.

Half of the stores are not open for business yet but parking looks to be adequate as long as each shop is not busy at the same time. Getting into the parking lot was awkward, it is one way and so I had to drive behind the strip to circle around to the front. I almost collided with another vehicle while entering the lot since it's not obvious that it's a one way until you see a car coming at you head on. When I walked inside I was greeted by a friendly staff. The restaurant is quaint yet there is plenty of seating. Everything looked clean. The ambiance is casual and perfect for a lunch date. If dining in, you order and pay for your food at the counter, and they will bring the food to your table. On this particular Sunday I ordered my food to go. Their website is user-friendly and ordering online was easy. I ordered 2 starters, the Vegetable Harumaki (spring rolls ) and Sakura Ebi (marinated fried shrimp). My husband and I enjoyed both appetizers but the Sakura Ebi was our favorite, it came with a yummy sauce in a container too small to dip the shrimp, a regular sized condiment container would be more pragmatic. My husband had the Tenmii Plate with grilled chicken, he enjoyed his dish, the combination of ingredients was tasty. I had the Spicy Tokubetsu with ramen noodles and Ebi Furai. It would be nice if they offered grilled shrimp opposed to just Fried but the shrimp are a hit. I was not a fan of my noodle bowl; I didn't like the broth nor the soy egg. The next time I visit I would like to try their signature salad. Prices are reasonable and portions are fair. If you find yourself in the area Tenmii is worth giving a try.
