Near path that leads to Edmonds skytrain

This little store has a wide variety of items found on a grocery store for the people who live in the high rises around the area but many people come from away to shop here too. There are some goods deals a local shop person told me. I found a good deal on cosmic crisp apples which sell for much higher elsewhere. Lots of Asian goods here too. Workers are friendly- make sure to bring your own bags. Store is fairly clean but being small it can be a bit crowded. It is near a walking path from the Edmonds skytrain .

We only recently discovered the wonders of Kim's Mart, and I was overjoyed to learn that there's a second location of Kim's Mart, just behind Edmonds skytrain station in Burnaby. This one is so much closer for us than the one on Broadway. The selection here isn't quite the same. It's missing a few things compared with Broadway. Overall though, it's got pretty much the same kind of selection. At the Broadway location I had bought a bottle of Guava flavored Aloe Vera juice that was on sale for $0.99 or 3 for $1.99. We saw that exact same deal at this location in Burnaby and so my husband decided to buy 3 bottles of it this time! We also saw the Sakura Cola we had seen at the Broadway location. I'm quite happy too to have this Korean market closeby to us as I have only quite recently started to dabble with cooking Korean food at home. Great to have this nearby option for buying Gochujang and any other Korean ingredients I might need! Service: Good Parking: Limited free parking at the side of the store Location: 6855 Station Hill Dr., Burnaby, BC

You can always find new and rare stuff in this store for unbelievable prices I get really tired of the same things at Walmart superstore and save on foods. So once or twice a month I'll do a grocery run from Kim's. To stock up on exciting food. It's nice to look paste your usual list of foods and try new things. Sometimes it's good. Sometimes you're asking yourself omg why did I buy this. But. How can you know. Unless you try it once. They have amazing selection of noodles. Sure. It's noodles. But the soup bases they come with makes the noodles taste unique and more exciting than again Mr noodles... They have some amazing cup noodles. And their produce is more unique with some items harder to find elsewhere. And they make their own kimchi (not at this location I believe it is made at Broadway and sent over to Burnaby location) Their meat is good price. And comes in solid or sliced. Fresh or frozen. Please note the fresh is usually frozen thawed. But they are nice quality meat. And if you like Chinese hot pot? Their meat portions are big and cheaper too. I like doing hot pot. So I buy from here a lot. Snacks. Well snacks dominates a section as big as produce hahaha so be prepared to spend some time here in these two aisles. They have the most crazy flavours and unique chips and cookies and cakes. They have a nice selection of fresh cakes (again it came to them frozen I believe. As some items come overseas) They have a nice selection of breads (in the cooler) I like the whip cream stuffed ones. And these maple syrup ones. Mmmmm Definitely give this place a try. Oh. And they have fancy flavours of tuna tins too. Dairy is always on sale if it is nearly expired. Don't be afraid to ask if they forgot to tag it. I believe 1 day before they discount it deeply. They always have hidden baskets of expired stuff. For cheap. (Noodles. Let's be honest. They don't expire). Or packaged cookies just a day after best before date. Still good. Omg yes. They have a huge assortment of candy. For $3.99 and up. Elsewhere these candy bags go from $5-9 a bag. So grab some. Soda pop PUCHAO is soooooo good.

This is the second store of Kim's Mart I've went to. It's located near Edmonds Station which only takes 2 mins of walking if you take transit. Parking is available. This location is bit bigger than Broadway location and pricing is good. However pricing is slightly higher than Broadway location. You'll see the counter upon walking in and they got good selection of Korean food. If you live close by this location is way convenient to shop here than Broadway one. However I personally like the main location better than this.

    Review Highlights - Kim's Mart

I have gone to the Kim's on Broadway but heard there was one another one in Burnaby so I wanted to check it out.

I've…read morealways been curious about Blackball so it's great that we can try some of their stuff from Market Ribbon without having to go all the way to the actual Blackball shop. Last time I bought some kind of Mango drink with Agar jelly for my daughter. She liked it while I was just OK with it. This time I bought a Passionfruit Lemon Green Tea with Coconut Jelly for my daughter, and a Wintermelon Tea with Grass jelly and Aiyu jelly drink for my husband. My daughter and I both loved the Passionfruit drink. I wouldn't mind buying that one again sometime. Hubby seemed to like the Wintermelon drink a lot. I liked it better than I had like the Mango drink with Agar jelly but still wasn't crazy about it. I really really liked the Passionfruit drink though, so I might buy that one for myself sometime since I only took a couple of sips from that drink and left the rest for my daughter. These drinks would cost a good deal more at the actual Blackball store so getting them premade at Market Ribbon for just $4.99 each is a pretty good deal. If you're not too picky, this is a great place to satisfy a bubble tea craving without breaking the bank!

After hearing so much about this Korean supermarket, I finally had a chance to come visit. Don't…read morelet the dumpy exterior scare you. Parking is plentiful in the lot in front of the building. The inside is definitely bare bones and on the smaller side. However, it was full of customers. They're doing something right. They have Korean snacks and produce. Special mention to their dedicated kimchi and ready to eat food section, which have items like tteokbokki (starch roles in sauce) and kimbap. Oh so tasty. Another thing worth mentioning - they have sashimi grade fish, and as of the time of writing, it is much cheaper than T&T. My only real complaint is that the checkout area is set up rather poorly. I just saw a pile of people by the counters and assumed I was in the lineup. Turns out the lineup actually goes down the aisle that is closest to the wall. Pro tip. This place is definitely on my radar now. Will be back more often to empty my wallet. Recommended.
