I went in because the screw holding the lens in my glasses fell out and the ones in the kit i…read morebought were too long. The guy there was very curt with me, basically saying he didn't want to take responsibility for the glasses. I needed new glasses anyway but wasn't going to make an appointment at that point. I went to another optometrist in Milford and they fixed the glasses right away and scheduled an exam.

NEVER AGAIN! I purchased new glasses and had a my lenses…read morechanged in another pair. I stopped in to see if they would tighten them up a bit. The conversation went like this... "Hi I got my glasses here and.." "You did NOT get those glasses here" "I did....I got a new pair and..." "You did NOT get those frames from here!" "No, I got a pair of glasses and had the lenses changed in these ( taking off glasses to show him) I wanted to see if you could just tighten them up." With hands raised to his chest and palms outward he says "whoa, whoa, I don't know! You didn't get the frames here so you have to do it at your own risk...I mean the frames could crack...they could break and that wouldn't be our responsibility ." It was like I was asking for his first born child or something. He was so aggressive and angry about it. I said "What the f###!" Well that put him over the edge...he looked like he wanted to hit me. "Excuse me?!?!?" I said " I can't believe I paid this much for two pairs of glasses and your giving me hard time about tightening the frames." Granted, my bad for using the F word but after being interrupted twice and basically being called a liar from the get go and then the incredulous look and aggressive manner after I asked for what came for, I had had it with this guy." Target would be better served using this guy as a bouncer for people who try to come in without masks on...customer service is definitely not his calling.

I went to Dr. Satula for an in office Blepharoplasty on my left eye. That evening I called Dr…read more Satula at home because I was in extreme pain and my eye watered constantly. He told me to go to the ER or wait and see him in the morning. I suffered through the night and got a ride to his office first thing. He couldn't figure out what was wrong. He stopped the pain by putting a bandage contact lense on the eye. He told me to return in 8 days. Well when I returned on the 8th day Dr. Satula took one look at my eye and told me to get to Mass Eye Ear Infirmary Emergency room in Boston. I had a scratched cornea that developed a fungal and bacterial infection. The bandage contact lense Dr. Satula put on my eye harbored a slew of germs causing the infections. I have never had such pain in my life. I had to have an emergency corneal transplant and have lost sight in the eye. Please check your Doctor out thoroughly and always get a second opinion. I wished I had

I have had three good experiences and one bad. The bad one was because the wait was 1 3/4 hours…read morewhich is unacceptable and I would have walked out if for me, other wait times were about 15 minutes which is fine. I take my 96 year old mother here because Dr. Patel recently opened this business, used to be Dr. Sutula's but Boston Eye Group bought them out and Dr. Patel seems to be running it. She is awesome with the elderly and cares about her patients. She is an Optometrist and has a number of doctors working there as well. Met one doctor and didn't think much of him and only reason had to meet with him is it is required for a new patient to at least meet a doctor other than Optometrist so they can continue to subscribe medication. If you ask me it may be required but is just another way to waste Medicare money as it was not really needed for a 96 year old glaucoma patient, not like we are going to do anything given all is stable and going well. Dr. Patel I would trust, can't speak much of the other doctors although I used Dr. Sutula about 20 years ago for myself and he was fine at that time. Would have been 5 star rating if not for that one long wait time which is not acceptable when you have an incontinent elderly person with dementia. Hard enough getting them to the doctors, at least call and tell people you are running very late.
