After 8 years with another provider I left, seeking an Optometrist who provided better services, better attentive care, and someone who was also a Glaucoma specialist. I found a wonderful fit with Dr. Marshall Kim.
I am always greeted with smiles from warm and friendly front desk. His assistants are helpful, knowledgeable, and capable in explaining procedures or the dispensing of meds... keeping me apprised while there. I also love the reminder calls for upcoming appointments. Having this kind of service and support was refreshing compared to other providers who ignored, until I could get their attention.
You will find Dr. Kim to be very amicable, informative, and his bedside manners excellent. He had performed cataract removals on both eyes, scheduled two weeks apart, successfully. He explained the procedure prior to surgery, what to expect after surgery, and alleviated the fears and anxiety I felt. During surgery, I could see and hear something being done... but I didn't feel a thing. In addition to the IV anesthesia, Dr. Kim numbs the eye quite thoroughly with eye drops. I am exceptionally pleased with the results of my surgery. It removed the pressure I was feeling from the Glaucoma and the clarity of my vision improved. I am very pleased! Let me share his accolades:
