Thank you for taking care of us.

I love the great and soo friendly service of staff at this clinic , not to mention excellent quality care. The waiting to be check or seen by Dr. William K. Wong Jr. was so fast. A very well plan appointment from beginning to end. My family and I are very appreciative of Dr. Wong and the staff. If you're looking for Eye Doctor, I highly recommend this clinic, you won't get disappointed. -- at Hawaii Vision Clinic.

Five stars. It's been almost three months since my LASIK eye surgery. I can say proudly that I am celebrating my freedom from glasses or contacts! Background on me: glasses since 9th grade high school. Used contacts too. Started to use primarily (actually only) glasses from 2002 till three months ago. LASIK done. Bam! No more glasses! (or contacts) Thank you to everyone at Pan Pacific Laser Vision Center! Glad I did it!

Love Dr. Gee and his staff. Had my PRK done last year, and although the healing time and recovery with PRK is longer than with LASIK, I am so glad I did it. I have the same sentiments as almost everyone else... why did I wait so long to do this? I had to wear glasses for a couple weeks before my consultation... and my glasses gave me migraines (since I never really wear them). So... right after my consult... I told them I would take the first available surgery date - just so that I wouldn't have to wear glasses any longer. Staff were very accommodating and fit me in two days! I had to quickly get all my prescriptions. Surgery itself was quick. Post surgery was painful... but then again I had PRK and it was expected. Overall, would I do it again? Go through the pain with PRK?... I would have to say... hell yes! They were so lovely and genuinely caring! PS - here's my tip for parking and locating them in their new office space: also... they have merged under Hawaii Vision Clinic. Go up the ramp and turn right into guest parking lot. After parking, walk back toward the parking entrance. There are glass doors that say Pan Pacific Laser/Hawaii Vision Clinic. Buzz the doorbell and they will unlock the door. Go up the elevator to the 5th floor (same floor as the pool in Nauru Tower). Nice new digs! Elevator was broken when I came today... so the stairwell door was propped open.

I was…read morereferred to the clinic and I emphatically recommend Jenkins Eye Clinic and Dr. Nikpoor. The vision in my right eye began diminishing nearly two years ago. At first it felt like I was seeing the world through plastic wrap smeared with bacon grease; over time it worsened into what seemed like wrinkled paper. I was scared I might lose sight in that eye. I had to depend solely on my left eye and felt unsafe driving at night because headlights became blinding spotlights. At Jenkins Eye Clinic I learned I had cataracts in both eyes. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, accommodating, and compassionate. I was a little devastated at first -- I thought I was too young -- but Dr. Nikpoor put me at ease. She explained what to expect before and after the procedure, answered all my questions about vision outcomes, pain, downtime, and cost, and helped me schedule bilateral cataract surgery for early April. My procedure was scheduled for 8:00 a.m., and I was out by 9:30 a.m. Tears of joy escaped my eyes when I realized I could see through my right eye again. The vision felt different -- somehow better. Colors, especially blue, are deeper and more vivid; whites are more brilliant. I can now safely drive at night without fear. I am grateful to Dr. Nikpoor, the staff at Jenkins Eye Clinic, and the team at The Surgical Suites.

The best result was getting rid of contact lenses! That one inconvenience was gone from my daily routine! What a relief! Recently, my optometrist noticed that I had the beginnings of cataracts. So many people advised me to get the surgery as soon as possible, so... Okay... I went for the exam/consultation and now am waiting to schedule the surgery. It's such a popular procedure that the office is backed up for months! I'm looking forward to interacting with the professional, patient, and pleasant staff again! I think I met six different people who helped me navigate the system! They were all kind and thorough! I highly recommend Jenkins Eye Care. They're very experienced and have an excellent reputation!

This year, I decided it was time to have cataract surgery. After the consult with Dr. Schmidt, we decided to have multi-focal interocular lenses put in. The results are MIRACULOUS! No need for contacts or glasses. I see everything better at all distances. The world is brighter and colors are more vibrant. Dr. Schmidt operated on one eye, then two weeks later, the second. The procedure was painless and recovery quick. If you're eligible, do not hesitate to get it done. I highly recommend the multi-focal solution even though you may have to pay out-of-pocket. Dr. Schmidt is truly expert, and he's done over 10,000 procedures. Beyond his surgical skill and expertise, he leads his team well. They are all well trained and motivated. Special shout-outs to office manager Ashley, who's the best. She told me to say that in my review :-) but it is true. In this paperwork - I requested that my images not be used for social media. I also indicated that seeing a PA was okay - but I didn't fully understand that meant the PA would be doing the procedure. ********************************** The good: Was able to book appointment quickly. There is a $200 consultation fee that is applicable to the procedure. Surgery was scheduled the very next day and was relatively painless. The office staff, PA, etc. were all friendly. The office was clean. ************************************* The bad: I now have a scar that is whiter and a tad bit larger than the Xanthelasma that was removed. I now feel like the small smooth yellow buttery Xanthelasma was prettier and less noticeable than the new white rough scar .. ugh.... I keep asking myself what was the point of paying around $1,200 (ouch) to have it removed. I have been using silicone gel & tape as they recommended - but it hasn't helped. I have a consult scheduled with another plastic surgeon to see if anything can be done. My photos were used for social media (Instagram story) even though I requested they not be used when filling out the paperwork. The final straw that led me to write this review - I received a bill today, almost a month later - for $200 even though I paid everything up front. This was resolved over the phone after they admitted the error. ************************************* Conclusion: I wish I had looked into this more carefully. While the Yelp reviews were strong, they were not enough on their own to support such an important decision.
