Killian's Pest Control is absolutely fantastic. They've not only met but exceeded all my expectations. My wife, 18 month old and myself can play around in peace knowing there are no little critters to feast on us. There's not one bug or cob web in or around my house. I had an issue with ants and spiders and they're all gone. I couldn't be more satisfied with the level of service they provide. Not only is the service fantastic, their customer service is second to none. Larry and his team have an extremely thorough operation with one goal in mind, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! They're the best and I highly recommend Killian's for your pest control needs. read more

Buyer beware! I can not recommend this company for use. Here is our story: We used Killian's for a short time before we lost our home to foreclosure. This was a very difficult time for our family as my husband was without a job for a year; at the end, a two-month pest control bill for $120 fell between the cracks as our family relocated. Here we are, nearly three years later, contacted by a collection agency with a bill for nearly $1000 regarding Killian's Pest Control. It seems that the "contract" stated a $25 late fee would be assessed for each month the bill was late. I immediately contacted the Killians office to explain what had happened and offered to pay the original $120. The office manager told me the only way I could get the account called out of collections was to pay the original amount, plus two months late fee ($50) and sign up for another year of contracted service. As it was explained to me, they don't care about what happened to our family three years ago, it was not their fault it happened, nor was it their fault that they could not reach us before the bill tallied nearly $1000. They just want to be paid what they are contractually entitled to. I signed the contract so I have no right to question the amount owed now. It feels a little like blackmail for this company to demand that we sign up for service again as a condition of getting the extra $800 removed from collections. I explained that we no longer own a home and it is not possible for us to sign a one year contract. I would really like to pay the debt and be done with it but I sincerely feel an extra $800 is outrageous and exploitive. My experience with Killian's has been humiliating and frustrating - so why am I sharing this embarrassing story (that some may or may not feel sympathy towards?) Well...because I would not have chosen this place if I had known this outcome was a possibility. There are too many other business choices that enhance the community - instead of prey on it. read more

There is only one Pest Control company I would allow to come service my home, and it's Killian Pest Control. They have been servicing my home for 12 years. KPC come when they say they'll be there, and I never have to wait it if I've scheduled an appointment. They hire the best technicians who have integrity, and do the best quality service. I'm so thankful for Killian Pest Control!! read more

Killian Pest Control has been my pest control company for over 18 years now, and I wouldn't have it any other way. There staff is the most friendly, and knowledgeable. If you have an emergency issue they are right there with no questions asked, and best of all no extra charge if is it is part of the regular service. I have a hard time understanding these bad ratings? I think they are from people you couldn't make happy no matter what you do. I always recommend Killian Pest Control to others, and they are so impressed, and completely satisfied with the service they get. If you are looking for the the right pest control company call Killian! read more

These guys are great. Fantastic customer service, honesty from the personnel, and realistic with pricing and options. If you've got a problem with insects (our problem was with termites) in the Bakersfield area, I recommend Killian's whole-heartedly. read more

This has been the worst experience with a pest control company I have ever had. The managment company I rent through signed up for this company for pest control. The first 2 years seemed to go smoothly. I had the same tech come each time and he was always friendly introduced himself and I never had an issue. Then all of a sudden this past year I have had nothing but issues one after another. One guy let my dogs out of my yard because he didn't lock the gate back when he was done in my backyard. Then the next month when he returned he was rude and began arguing with me about whose fault it was regarding the dogs getting lose. Telling me I should have checked the gate before let my dogs back outside when he left. I don't even allow them in my house they are just suppose to come out, knock, I let my dogs in, they spay the whole parameter outside, then they knock when done, I let my dogs out and they go on their way. How hard is that? That was the service I had the first year or so with the company. Now I have a different guy show up every month not knowing what my regular service is. They came to do an inspection last month for termites and marked that they sprayed when no one sprayed that month at all. The bugs are coming in my house and are still in abundance outside. Black widows, water bugs, and pincher bugs like crazy. Whatever they spray isn't killing much. That is when they actually spray the whole parameter. Today a guy shows up, does the front of the house and leaves. I call to complain yet again that they only did half the outside, and the owner starts jumping down my throat telling me I am the problem... worst customer service ever between the rude guy that let my dog out, the rude owner, and the lack of consistency with this company I am surprised they are still in business. I'm glad I don't pay them a penny of my own money. But I wish to hell I didn't have to deal with them any longer. I feel sorry for those who are locked into a contract with them. Terrible service! Stay far away from Killian. Paramount pest control was a great company had them for many years at my old house without any complication and their prices were very affordable. Killian needs to learn how to treat thier customers ever if they are renters you don't act that simply because that person isn't footing the bill. I pay rent and have a right to fair treatment just like any other customer. read more

I have used Killian for 4 years. This year I had a problem with bugs. I had them out and still had the bugs. I called the office to complain and received a lecture on pest control. I found her rude and nonresponsive. Canceled contract. read more

I recently received a letter from Killian Pest Control stating they were going to raise my bi-monthly rate 23%. I have been with Killian since 2003 (14 years) and gave them a call to see if there was a consideration for being a long time customer. Nope. I was told they hadn't raised their rates in the last 10 years and more or less could take it or leave it. Must be nice to not need customers..... Service was okay. We only had the outside done - no inside service as we have small dogs that have reactions to the spray. Very disappointed in their attitude. read more

My landlord called them to inspect my home. I had found two bed bugs on my couch and believed I was still getting bit. They came and inspected and said they couldn't find any evidence that I had them. They said to save the bed bug if I happen to find one so they can see it. I do find one and save it in a clear sandwich bag. I call them and the "inspector" comes and tells me its not a bed bug but a baby cockroach. These things have been driving me crazy in my home I believe I know what one looks like right away, He's the pest inspector why doesn't he! He finally agrees that it is indeed a bed bug. My landlord calls the next day to see if it was a bed bug and they have to nerve to say "it is a bed bug but did she actually find it in her own home?" !!! What! Like I would actually go out and find a bed bug and put it in a bag to say it was mine!! who the hell would do that? I don't want these bugs. I am a genuinely concerned customer and now I have to go through inspectors again and hope I don't get infested because of the set back from the Killian staff. I'm sure you have great chemicals but your customer service sucks. read more
