However, when I asked to see the rental agreement and certificate of insurance, he disappeared completely. No response after several follow ups. These are required by the venue, as they would be for any venue. It gives me the feeling that he wanted me to pay the invoice, but not be liable to provide any services/rentals. Take the steps to protect yourself. Review the rental agreement and make sure there are refunds/penalties for non-delivery. And be sure to see a certificate of insurance.
