A Mat, not needed, put pressure on the Bride to just agree! The Bricks had a Monitor Woman cruising our Wedding all nite, included herself in our reception. Felt businesslike instead of OUR PARTY. Honestly, we picked up inside & outside, cigarette butts, papers, anything to prevent not getting our deposit back. It was as nice as when we arrived. The monitor helped pick up, so we did NOT Receive our $1500 deposit. Ms. Monitor made sure! Beautiful Venue, but signer beware! The $1500 was our Wedding gift to our Bride & Groom for their Honeymoon. Very very Disappointing. Nothing we could do.

It was midnight on a Tuesday night and they had rooms available. The receptionist at the front desk was very nice and friendly! We got what was available for two adults which was the king bed studio. It was on the first floor and had a full kitchen. The king bed was super cozy. Everything was clean and there were no issues with the room or noise. We were just there to sleep so we never checked out the pool. They had an excellent complimentary breakfast! The parking lot was lit up and I felt safe there. We paid $114 for a seven hour stay.

When they found out I was travelling alone, they made an extra effort to check in with me each day and make sure I was okay. Their kindness made such a difference to my stay. My room was extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was spotless and very comfortable, and the bathroom was immaculate. Even areas where you might normally expect to find some dust, such as the bathroom vent, were completely clean. The kitchenette was fantastic and had everything I needed, including a coffee maker. Coffee was also available downstairs. There is a great little store near reception, and the free laundry facilities were incredibly convenient. The location is excellent. It is only about a five-minute walk to Walmart, in a nice area with plenty of other shops nearby. This hotel was very affordable for the quality, comfort, facilities, and service I received. I will definitely stay here again whenever I am in the area. I cannot recommend Candlewood highly enough!

Little bit later manager calls and says sorry we do have them available (not sure if they saw that I had status). But that was great that she did that. When I get there the guy at the desk seems to act like I'm ruining his day with a few questions. The process to check in is slow because he taking his sweet time.
