I came here quite a bit in high school (many years ago) for various events like homecoming and weddings and it was decent, but always had an old feel or seemed out of touch. It was also way too dark. Fast forward to today and you can tell they've poured so much time, attention, and money into renovating this to be a modern, classy, and really fun place to be. I was actually really pleasantly surprised walking in the door for the first time in 10+ years and seeing a beautiful ballroom complete with modern luxurious chandeliers, a beautiful dark wooden dance floor, and a modern bar and wooden accents around the room. The food was freaking delicious (I personally had the pork tenderloins and they were fantastic, served with some of the most flavorful zucchini I've ever had) and also had great presentation. The drinks were great, and from the limited interaction I had with staff, they seemed friendly and helpful. All in all, I'm really excited to see the positive changes made here! My suite had been completely redone top to bottom including new plumbing fixtures, heat, furniture as well as floors and walls. The staff for our event were superb. A Mat, not needed, put pressure on the Bride to just agree! The Bricks had a Monitor Woman cruising our Wedding all nite, included herself in our reception. Felt businesslike instead of OUR PARTY. Honestly, we picked up inside & outside, cigarette butts, papers, anything to prevent not getting our deposit back. It was as nice as when we arrived. The monitor helped pick up, so we did NOT Receive our $1500 deposit. Ms. Monitor made sure! Beautiful Venue, but signer beware! The $1500 was our Wedding gift to our Bride & Groom for their Honeymoon. Very very Disappointing. Nothing we could do.

They will clean your room every couple of days but they missed us one day and they said it's because in the morning we had to do not disturb on. However, they were cleaning the floor when we left at 10:30 and the room never got Done. Their breakfast is OK it's not much more than a continental and in fact there's no pastries of any kind or anything like that there's a few muffins. We stayed an entire week and nothing really changed on the buffet. The only kind of fruit is are a whole apple or maybe a whole orange so there's no cut up fruit. And I'm only bringing this up because they mention on their website about this excellent breakfast and it's nowhere near that. The staff is super friendly. The pool looks pretty darn small but if it was winter time I'm sure kids would enjoy having that opportunity to swim. I probably would stay here again, but I would go to the store and buy my own things to eat in my room as opposed to there breakfast.

We gathered on the first floor and went up to the rooftop for a cocktail party and Hors d'oeuvres before the wedding. They had a variety of delicious items. The bar was great and the drinks generous. The wedding was on the rooftop -- a beautiful setting for a marriage. I'm guessing there was room for about 100 people. After the wedding, we went down to the 2nd floor where they had tables set up for dinner. It's a lovely venue. The food and service were great. After the meal, the rooftop was opened again for dancing. Desert was available indoors on the 3rd floor, coming in from the rooftop. All in all, this is a great location for a large party or gathering. They did a great job, in a nice venue, of showing everyone a great time.
