They're amazing! Always on time, good communication, super knowledgeable and professional, kind, and helpful. I don't know how they get every single person so efficient and easy to work with. It's often a different person, but some of the friendliest and most helpful have been James, Dustin, Allen, Neth, and Logan. We unknowingly rented in an area with HORRIBLE cockroaches, mosquitoes, etc., and they are a godsend and will also tell you how to prevent future entry. It's $50/mo for quarterly application with a guarantee of keeping the listed bugs out. They come out for free and apply more if there's any "activity" (aka live giant cockroaches in the house in our case once) between applications too. read more

Not sure on which company this review should be for so I'll be posting about Pest Tech Hawaii as well as Kilauea Pest Control. I really wish I could write a much better review of this company as I was expecting stellar service after reading some yelp reviews. But here I am expressing my disappointment in the tenting crew and how they left my home with damaged gutter drains (2 out of 5). One was stepped on and completely flattened so the rain water has no where to drain out of. The second gutter drain was somehow yanked or knocked out of its position so hard that the screws holding them in place were ripped out. I understand and respect their contract stating that they have no responsibility for damage to gutters and other home property, so I'm not going to make a big deal of the 2 dented gutters. However, it really bothers me that the way my gutter drain pipes were seemingly carelessly handled. I just had those drain gutters installed 2 months ago. AND also every nozzle from my water hoses (all 3 hoses) were removed and left on the ground with the hoses not put back where they were before the fumigation. AND one of the solar panels on my security light was turned backwards. Could they not have simply turned it back the way it was? I also received a text from my not too happy neighbor on the day I was to return home informing me that my smoke alarm was blaring all night the night before. Should I have been advised by the tech that I should have removed the batteries to these alarms before the tenting? And I didn't get any courtesy notice of any damage. I simply came home to find these things on my own. Everything considered, tells me how the crew has such a nonchalant attitude towards providing excellent service. It was very disheartening because I actually loved the customer service I received with each gal I spoke with in securing this service so I was looking forward to and expecting the same kind of service I got from their office. I will NOT be using their service again. But to be completely accurate and clear, I hired Kilauea Pest Control who sent out PEST TECH HAWAII to our home. I paid $3,000.00 for one year to get rid of the bugs in my kitchen cabinets. After 6 treatments there's still bugs in the cabinets. I called the company to schedule another appointment. The lady said you used up all your treatments, how can that be, the saleperson told us your good for one year for as many treatments that you need to rid of the bugs. Had made an appointment the week prior but realized the concrete project wouldn't be ready for termite pretreatment till a couple days later. Unfortunately the office was closed on the weekend so the technician did arrive on the original date. Very disappointed in the service. Live in a condo and as a board member, I recommended Kilauea to spray units and the grounds. Had the pest spray moved 26th and we as of Dec 18th we still have roaches and actually there are more! Called to ask if they would come back to spray and they said to wait two weeks...waited and even more roaches now! And they want to charge more money to come back! I had several quotes from different companies for termite ground treatment (maintenance). I went with Kilauea. Because when Logan came to do the assessment he was very thorough and professional. He explained everything when the others didnt. He went the extra mile. Answered all my questions too. I was impressed. In all honesty they werent the cheapest, but he had the best customer service of them all. And that matters to me. I feel if he has great customer service the company and other workers should have great customer service skills also. On the day of the termite treatment Robin was the tech and Logan came to assist.
