I'm so incredibly disappointed with the extreme greed of this company! They wanted to charge almost…read more$400 just to bring a small piece of furniture to treat termites. I just ran to City Mill where I picked up one double pack of huge bags(108"×80") along with a can of termite treatment, all for under $20, went home, stuffed that furniture in the bag and used the entire can to assure it got in ALL of the little hidden tunnels and holes that those disgusting little boogers created. I sealed it then took it outside and sucked out all of the air with the vacuum(outside to prevent termite treatment chemicals from being emitted in the air via the vacuum), gave it one day, then I took the furniture out to let it air out under the sun, brought it back inside and it was as good as new, with the exception of the damage those disgusting things previously caused. A little bit of matching colored wood putty and NOW it's as good as new! ALL IN ALL I SAVED MYSELF $385 Just curious, the misleading name of kama'aina as well as kama'aina discounts makes no sense because what tourist needs to treat their Hotel or whatever? The lady had the guy who quoted me the time to call me. He was rude to me on the phone and pretty much called me a liar and used a very threatening voice on the phone. Peter's a beekeeper too. Issue: I came home to several bees interested in my electrical meter. We didn't have a cover over it cause HECO gave us a larger meter and told us to cut a bigger hole in our wood cover (like I own a hacksaw!) . It was the first time I've seen live bees in our neighborhood unless they're dying... so I was a little freaked that maybe they'd gotten into the electrical stuff or wall. Peter came down after I texted him some photos of the situation. He opened the panel - thankfully, NO hive (I was relieved). But Peter said they were scout bees looking for a new home for their Queen to nest (apparently a Queen can lay 2K-3K eggs in ONE day alone and it can get crowded) Peter said they'd be back -likely within a day- with a swarm because they move fast. This was good to know! So he plugged all the entry points up. He recut our old cover to fit over the meter and caulked all entry points. He also let me know I could make a natural mixture to deter them from returning! Like many reviews here, learning this bee info from Peter was fascinating. I was asking a lot of questions. Before he left, he gave me a honeycomb he got from his last job. Eating honey from a backyard honeycomb was lightly sweet and incredibly delicious. I got a referral from a beekeeping group on Facebook to Honey Bee Rescue. Peter came over within a short time and did a very thorough examination of the premises while providing me with information on bees and their behavior. I wasn't expecting to learn so much! He was so friendly and really calmed the nerves of this freaked out person. Unfortunately, the Queen is not in the "bee box" he set up so it looks like it there are more bee battles that have to be done. Sean seemed like an honest person; I got an upfront estimate on a quarterly maintenance program, but he also said the traps we already laid out could be enough to keep bugs out. He also let me know that there are other things I could do myself before committing to the maintenance program. Within a day or two I got a email with more details on the maintenance program, along with the pictures he took of each hole in my unit. So even though it had only been an initial inspection, I got enough information to be satisfied with Pest Tech Hawai'i.

Without my permission, the crew drove a heavy vehicle onto my driveway and lawn, leaving noticeable indentations. They also turned the vehicle's tires while on the grass, tearing up and damaging the lawn. I contacted the company by phone, left a message through their AI system (which is just horrible as you don't get to talk to a real person. Guess their way of not having to get back to you.) and followed up with a detailed email requesting that someone contact me to discuss resolving the damage. Despite these efforts, I have received no response. Mistakes can happen, but what is most disappointing is the lack of communication and customer service afterward. I simply wanted to discuss the damage and find a resolution, but my calls and email have gone unanswered.
