Poor customer service and communications. I have left messages and don't hear back for days. Poor work installation. This past year (2025) my inverter failed. The initial technician that came out, took pictures that were sent to the manufacturer. The manufacture determined that the unit wasn't installed correctly and denied my warranty claim, because the wiring and seals were not installed correctly. I did further research and discovered that the unit was in fact install incorrectly. While it has a waterproof cover the unit is not supposed to be installed in direct sunlight. The manufacturer explicitly states this in their installation instructions. The inverter was mounted so it faces directly south with a full southern sun exposure, which can 100-110+ degrees in summer. As I did my research, is learned that they weren't a certified installer for the inverter, from Fronius. Nor are they identified as certified by the panel manufacture, Silfab. They felt no obligation to stand behind their world. I had to pay to install a new inverter. We went 6 months of prime solar generation without solar, which cost a significant sum to pay for heating bills.

The person that had worked with us was no longer there and didn't know what she was doing (as evidenced by her asking us what to measure). The owner helped us pick out a flooring that was within the price range of what we got, and suited the wear and tear of kitchen use. They installed it and we are happy with our product and the service we received this year. It took far too long for a response, but in the end we are happy with our final experience.

Dave helped me, very patiently, go through dozens of samples until he found the exact one I wanted. We have wood and carpet and that process was repeated for both materials. Every step of the way I was continually impressed and so happy with the service and product -- from the sales end of it to the huge install process -- I could not be more pleased. I do realize that situations arise and there are issues and problems -- but, the lines of communication are always open and I have no doubt that K&F would have been open to resolutions. I should have done this review a couple of years ago. I'm finally getting ready to fix this…read moredisaster / unprofessional/major code violation/rip-off disaster. We had $1,500 to $1,800 quotes just to move the furnace over where it should have been and clean up the installation so I'll have to do it myself. We made the mistake of using this guy that Locke Supply recommended. The job was simple, install a new furnace in the closet below where the old furnace was so it wouldn't be installed in our hot attic. They had one job, they did it half-assed and failed. This job has lazy written all over it and the sad thing is that Dennis was there to oversee it and actually put his stamp of approval on it. At the time, we were just happy to have our AC running again but in hindsight, we should have made them fix it then and there. I guess at the time we were so flabbergasted at what we saw that we didn't want them in our house again. They were there way too long and thus was the result? Instead of putting the furnace all the way to the left side and leave us the ability to utilize the right side of the closet, they stuck it in such a way that we have about 2 feet of wasted space to one side. I can guarantee you if he did this in his own house, he would have done it correctly. The other thing I've noticed is the way they left the wiring with twist caps exposed and just hanging. The area around the top of the furnace was left open and he said that any drywaller should have no problem finishing that off. If the install wasn't half-ass, that may be true but there is no way to correctly finish this off. It would be a fire hazard. The other thing that really pisses me off is that they literally hacked into the nice plywood base I made for the intake. I guess that doesn't matter since I have to move the whole furnace over and I'll have to make a whole new sheet for a base anyways. Hopefully the pictures will show what a crappy, careless, unprofessional hack job this is. They even left the old dead furnace in place for me to disassemble and remove. By the way, it couldn't have taken but 10 minutes longer at the most to have done this correctly.

On top of that, the cost was well below what i expected. I was very happy with the service and will only use Cameron Air from now on!
