I found Kids N Cribs through a Google search when I found out I was pregnant back in July of 2024. As a first time mom, I felt completely lost when it came to baby gear. I decided that before I purchased anything I wanted to go into a store to look around and ask questions. I called Kids N Cribs and made an appointment. I did not find this weird because other places I called around to required an appointment. Plus I knew that the time would be reserved for me and that meant I would get the chance to ask all of my questions. Upon arriving I was greeted by Antoinette. She took me to their baby gear section and began asking me questions about what I was looking for. Based on my answers she recommended a a beautiful travel system! Budget not being an issue, she could have chosen to sell me the most expensive travel system they offered but she didn't! Immediately I knew, this establishment and the owners were people I could trust! We began talking about other baby gear and furniture. She gave me her recommendations and answered all of my questions. I spent well over the amount of time that was reserved for me and I never felt pressured to wrap up or leave. I truly felt that this was beyond business for them, this was a passion of theirs! I went home with a list of products and intended on ordering them through Kids N Cribs in a few months as my due date became closer. Just out of curiosity, I searched the products on Amazon and found that I could get some of them but not all. Then it dawned on me that buying from Amazon takes a sale (or a few) away from this business that is ran by wonderful people! Plus, my intention from the beginning was to go into a store to browse and buy products! Fast forward a few months, I was hospitalized and was going to be induced. Nothing for the baby was ready! I contacted Kids N Cribs to let them know we were now in desperate need of our nursery furniture (which was just pending a pick up from us). Without hesitation, her husband scheduled a delivery to our house to get us the furniture. A few months after delivery I stopped in to say hello and ask about an accessory for my stroller. Antoinette again greeted me and went to work on answering my questions! She even adjusted my son's car seat for a better fit! I stayed a while, feeding my son in one of the gliders they have. Never felt pressure to leave! In fact, I'm sure if my son decided to nap while I was there, they'd offer me one of the cribs they have on display. Overall I have nothing bad to say about this establishment! I recommend them to everyone! The knowledge they share is unmatched and the time they spend with you is priceless! Do not go here. A friend recommended my husband and I come here to test out strollers before adding them to our registry. I was appalled by the customer service to say the least. Before we were helped in any capacity they wanted to make sure we paid them $30 for 20 minutes of looking at strollers (later to be reimbursed if we bought them there). The rude clerk proceeded to say that's the only way they stay in business. Here's a thought, provide excellent customer service and while we probably wouldn't end up getting our stroller from your store, there was a huge chance we would've spent $5k on a recliner and crib set- but instead you lost my business. Customer service first. Especially when you are dealing while hormonal pregnant women. Shouldn't be surprised it was in a gross location. I bought a Best Chairs recliner here a few years ago for my first child. I LOVED the chair and continue to use it for my 2nd baby. Unfortunately the motor started giving out, so I called the store to see what we can do. Mike reached out to the company and was able to order a replacement motor. He then offered to install it himself! I really appreciated this since I know it is just him and his wife running the store. Now my chair is fixed & I can comfortably nurse my baby again! My husband and I drove down from Folsom, because we were struggling to find a comfortable and practical stroller for my husband who is 6'5. Safety of the car seat, of course, is extremely important to us and we wanted an experts help. The appointment booking was so easy online and the deposit is worth it! We had Michael's undivided attention, and he was so patient and thorough with us. We felt absolutely no pressure from either Antoinette or Michael after the appointment, but thanks to their knowledge and selection we will only be adding items from their store for our stroller and car seat to our registry. Their prices and warranties are unmatched, and it's so easy to add the items URLs to our Babylist registry. Rating is strictly for the "customer service" I experienced. Can't speak to their inventory as I wasn't allowed to look at it all without an appointment (Nordstrom has the same inventory btw) Unfortunately, this store will not be getting my business or the business of anyone I'm friendly with which is unfortunate because there were no long lines and no one waiting for their "appointment" while I was there. I came in at about 11:30 (or so) on a Thursday, stopped in as I was passing by. Wanted to see what they had inside (it's called shopping) as the last time I visited was in their Brentwood location 15+ years ago. As a small business owner it's extremely important for the owners and/or staff to WELCOME customers into their establishment if they are interested in EARNING business. It's a mistake to assume you don't need to earn a patrons business. FYI: I had about $3,000 in gear to purchase that day and chose to spend it elsewhere based on the final interaction I had and real lack real customer service. Well, not what we expected. My husband and I walked in right when they opened in anticipation to buy for our first grandchild arriving in Feb 2025. We wanted to touch and test out the strollers because we already narrowed our search to 2 types. The person who greeted us late did not seem interested in helping. He told us it was by appointment only and on the weekends. However we were the only 2 customers in the store... He didn't bother to offer an appointment or ask us any further questions so we took our business and purchase to Nordstrom where we got to test drive over 10 strollers! My wife and I visited this store with the clear intention to make a purchase before our baby arrives. The store was completely empty when we walked in, yet instead of a warm greeting, we were immediately told that stroller and car seat consultations were "by appointment only" and were judged for coming in "too early" to shop. When we asked a few basic questions, the associate spoke to us in a dismissive and condescending tone, telling us we should do more research. She also emphasized that, as a mother, she "knew better," and continued to dismiss the questions and ideas we had regarding stroller and car seat options. We fully understand and respect appointment systems -- my wife manages a high-end luxury store herself -- but professionalism and respect should never depend on whether or not an appointment was booked. The associated responded "If you don't buy local, why should we support you?" was particularly disappointing and inappropriate. If this is the level of "professional help" that requires a $50 deposit, it does not align with the level of service we expected. Terrible service. Drive 45 minutes to this place just for her not to greet us when we walked in. Gave us an ugly welcoming. Asked about help looking for a stroller and she said if we had an appointment and I told her I had no idea about it. We scheduled a stroller/car seat appointment ahead of time (as explained on their website) and had a super informative meeting with the owner. He knows what's popular, what's affordable, what gets the best safety ratings, and offers advice on how to mix and match to get your perfect setup. My husband and I really appreciated the appointment setup as it felt like we had a tailored experience and we especially appreciated being able to test-drive the strollers and play around with taking on and off the seat options. Also, he was very attentive to the rest of the store during our appointment and made time for other walk-in guests as needed. I highly recommend this shop!! In addition to furniture and baby gear, they also had an amazing selection of clothing, toys, and decor. We walked into the store and there were absolutely no other customers in the store. We asked about strollers for twins. The woman t the counter did not seem interested in helping us at all. She said we could only look at strollers with an appointment but could give us a 15 minute appointment if we paid a $30 deposit which would be applied to a purchase however they only had one twin stroller. We walked round a bit and looked at furniture, remember we need to equip a nursery with 2 of everything and she not once came from behind the counter to offer us any help. We left and went to Nordstrom where we were able to see multiple strollers and an associate was happy to help us. We purchased a stroller that was over $2,000. I guess Kids and Cribs didn't need our business. We will now be buying the rest of our furniture elsewhere. read more

We chose a family owned business in hopes of getting the one on one for a travel system for our baby girl on the way. What we got exceeded our expectations while also staying within our budget. We got the full run down on travel systems, how they work, what to look for, how to upgrade if needed, and safety features in a very approachable manner. Antoinette is also a certified car seat installer so she took time to not only install our seat but also gave my husband a chance to install it himself. I went in to pick up a Nuna stroller and was assisted by Mike. Super friendly with great customer service. He wheeled the stroller out on a hand dolly and even put it into the trunk of my car for me. We had to order it, because they didn't have the particular model in stock that we wanted. Mike had great communication throughout the entire process. He was very apologetic that it took a little longer to get to their store. But he didn't need to be, because it wasn't the store's fault at all. That was on FedEx for delaying the shipment. When I went in to get the stroller and showed him the email, he knew exactly who we were. Overall an excellent experience. I wasn't sure what to expect, but when we walked in and were greeted by one of the owners, Antoinette, and I realized this was the place for all overwhelmed expectant parents to go for nursery furniture, stroller and car seat ideas, and just to get some really knowledgeable thoughts on it all. It is family owned since the 80's so you would also be buying local. Last thing, the prices and quality were better than the box store. They sell things that they don't have in stock. No order updates in days after purchase until you have to approach them. It caused me a lot of troubles and missing good deals from other providers. They may charge you more than the original price by telling you the specific item you bought is not available. (But it showed 'In stock, order now!' on there website LOL) To be fair, the online chat customer service was above average. It may only take 1-2 hrs to half day for them to reply your message. And they have no control over the inventory or website I guess. Very disappointing experience. I'm sure it was my very first time and very last time to buy anything from this website. We're so glad we found Kids N Cribs!! We went in early September to look at cribs and baby furniture. We were just there to look and we ended up walking out of there having purchased a whole nursery. We went with the Langford by Franklin and Ben. We purchased the convertible crib set that converts to a toddler and full size bed. We opted for a set which included the chest and drawer. We went with the grey color which looks really nice. We also purchased the mattress and changing pad from them. We had our mind set on purchasing the Uppababy Vista but Mike and Antoinette convinced us to go with the Agio Z4 by Peg Perego and I have to admit that is one of the best decisions we made. Especially after the new adapters that will be available starting February 2020 to make it a double stroller. It's super compact and light and very easy to use and fold. I love that it's made in Italy. It's super sleek and classy and sometimes referred to as the Lamborghini of strollers. It comes with a 5 year warranty. Do yourself a favor and do some research. Go on YouTube and type in Agio Z4 double stroller and you can see all the cool features. The weight limit on each seat is 50 lbs where as the Vista is 35 lbs. The best part is that the smaller baby doesn't have to be positioned on the bottom of the stroller when used as a double stroller. I was questioning our purchase for a while because of the lack of reviews and information out there but now that's all changed. Remember, the Agio line by Peg Perego is only a year old that's why there isn't much reviews online but the Peg Perego brand has been around for ages. We went with the Peg Perego Nido carseat which works great with the Agio Z4. We recently went in to have Antoinette teach us how to install the car seat base which is a great service. Good luck getting that service anywhere else. We even purchased a rocking chair which we weren't even shopping for because it was such a good price. Sadly it's a blush color but we'll just keep it in the master bedroom and out of my baby boys nursery. We were so happy to find this place. They are by far the best place to check out different crib sets and baby furniture. The furniture they have and sell is far nicer than what you'd find in other stores in the area. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. The delivery and set up was seamless and great too. I would definitely recommend these guys to family and friends. We drove from Fairfield to Kids N Cribs for they are, as was pointed out to us when we arrived, one of the few stores left in the area where you try out the products on display. The strollers are blocked off behind the sales desk with signs that say "Please ask for assistance." When my daughter asked if she could look at the strollers, Mike asked her if she knew which ones she wanted to see, and when she said "No", he just stared at her with a cold look and didn't say another word. He didn't ask about features she was interested in, if she needed recommendations - nothing - and didn't let us into the stroller area. We stood there awkwardly and my daughter finally just walked away. It was like the scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts is trying to buy clothes and the salespeople refused to help her, and we were the only people in the store.
