My daughters banged up arm after riding on one of the slides.

Updated to 1 Star Safety Concerns and Unacceptable Customer Service I initially left a more measured review, but I feel compelled to update this to one star after the complete lack of follow-through from Kids Empire's customer service team regarding a serious injury my daughter sustained during our visit to the Citrus Park Mall location in Tampa. My daughter received a second-degree burn from one of the slides, which has been a painful and slow-healing injury. I contacted customer service promptly after our visit and was told that my concern would be forwarded to a "special department" that would be in touch. That was over a week ago. The last communication I received was six days ago, when I was told to be attentive to my phone for a follow-up. I've heard nothing since then -- no phone call, no email, no acknowledgment. This experience has left me not only disappointed but also deeply frustrated. When a child is hurt at a play facility, the bare minimum should be timely and compassionate communication. Instead, I've been left in the dark, following up on my own, with zero accountability or concern shown by this company. While accidents can happen, how a company responds to them matters. In this case, Kids Empire has completely failed. I will not be returning, and I hope this review serves as a warning to other families to proceed with caution.

We went on a Monday and it was chaotic. Really busy which I was surprised. Well, maybe because school is out so there were a LOT of kids. I'll try going again once the school year is back on and see how it is on a weekday. Pro- good location coming to the citrus park mall! We needed something like this nearby. We can wear our own socks and not have to buy theirs. Con- no outside food or drinks, expensive (we got a 10 pass card and it was $160 something), music was way too loud, chairs at the tables are way too close together and you have to pay extra for the motorcycles that just go in a circle basically. The toddler area is a bit lame but the older kids area is too big for my 22 month old so it was a bit overwhelming for him. I had to follow him around and make sure he wasn't getting hurt. The older kids will push and fly by without looking out for young kids. Overall, I was a disappointment because this place was hyped up so much from the reviews. I wish I didn't buy the 10 passes card because now I have to go back 9 more times. I wish I just paid the $20 one time entry.

This place is an absolute paradise for kids -- and parents too! For just $20, your child gets access to a world of fun, and get this... TWO adults get in FREE with them! Snacks? Under $3. Kid's meal deal? Around $6 and totally worth it! You're not just stopping by -- you'll be staying for HOURS because there's literally like 20+ different activities packed into one space! From the huge slides, soccer area, climbing, "go Karts", disco glow in the dark room, and so much more.. Everything is designed so parents and kids can play together, which made it all even more magical and bonding! The staff? Super friendly AND very ATTENTIVE to ALL children. The vibe? 10/10. The experience? UNFORGETTABLE. So glad they brought this to the mall -- it's exactly what we needed!!!!

We recently visited Kids Empire in Bradenton, and overall it was a mixed experience with both…read morepositives and drawbacks. Check-In & Pricing The check-in process is straightforward, but I highly recommend completing the waiver online before you go--it makes the entry much faster, especially when it's busy. Pricing, however, is on the steep side. Admission was the same almost $20 for my 15-month-old as for older kids, even though they barely used the equipment, including the toddler area. There are also attempts to upsell you on crane games and ride-on motorcycle machines, which adds to the feeling that the outing can get pricey fast. They sell food and drinks inside and prohibit outside food or beverages, which further pushes you toward additional purchases. Crowds & Atmosphere We visited on a Monday morning during a school holiday, and it was fairly busy. We stayed almost four hours just to feel like we were getting our money's worth. The temperature inside was surprisingly cold--uncomfortably so--and the disco room was not only freezing but also extremely loud. Cleanliness & Safety For the most part, the facility was clean. At one point a child had an accident in the play structure, and staff cleaned it up quickly--though unfortunately, our friends stepped in it before it was noticed. The bathrooms were clean early on but developed a noticeable urine smell as the day went on. In the baby area, someone had eaten Doritos in the ball pit, and my toddler kept finding orange crumbs, which was pretty gross. Safety-wise, some of the climbing structures need attention. The tower had open holes that felt unsafe, especially for smaller or less coordinated kids. Supervision & Environment Most parents seemed attentive, but a noticeable handful were either working on laptops or absorbed in their phones, leaving their kids to roam unattended. This isn't fully the facility's fault, but it does affect the overall atmosphere and safety - especially for smaller children. Food Policy The food available for purchase is mostly junk food--chips, Takis, sugary applesauce pouches, etc. Because outside food isn't allowed, we had to step outside so our kids could have healthier snacks. Unfortunately, the immediate outside area isn't in the nicest neighborhood, and there's nowhere to sit. At the very least, a bench outside would be a thoughtful addition for families trying to accommodate dietary needs or simply avoid feeding their kids junk. Overall Kids Empire offers a large, engaging indoor playground that kids enjoy, and it's reasonably clean. But the high price, upselling, cold environment, safety concerns in some structures, and restrictive food policy make it far from perfect.

There is a second level of fun that adults are tall enough for and you could climb through with your kids. Also there was more fun in the back and a party area for birthdays. An amazing place for a birthday party…read more We've been to a lot of birthday parties. I have two sons, ages five and three, both in school, so throughout the year we get invited to tons of birthday parties. This has got to be one of my favorite locations to date for this age. It was honestly perfect for a three year old. Yes, some of the areas are patched up with duct tape, so it's not state of the art, but both my three year old and I didn't care at all. I felt like it was clean and he had a blast. For birthday parties you get 80 minutes of play and then 60 minutes in a private party room (I know this because I loved this place so much I grabbed a flier that gave birthday information.) The 80 minutes flew by. That really is saying something, because at many birthdays with a three year old sometimes it lags, but here we all looked at our watches and said omg it's been an hour. That's because this is the perfect location for the (I would guess) eight and under set. My three year old was climbing up all the bouncey slides with his friends and they were flying down them. It was adorable to watch and I didn't have to be hands on at all. I could stand and chat with other parents while they climbed up the slides again and again and again. Then we moved over to the section that is more like a play place. Again they were completely fine climbing by themselves. Only twice did a parent have to go up to help their child (and tbh I don't think those parents had to, but they were just more worried than I was.) The room was a good size for the 10 kids or so this party had plus around 15 adults. It definitely looked like it could fit the 24 children that the largest party size holds. More of an FYI than anything negative, but it was a little warm the day we came. It was cool outside so I was dressed in a long sleeve shirt and shorts. It wasn't uncomfortable, but had I known I would have worn short sleeves. I asked about pricing and heard it is $16 for a full day pass. That seems reasonable to me. I could see myself bringing both kids in the future and letting them run their energy out. On a Sunday at 10 a.m. it was just our little party to start off with and by 11:20 a.m. it still wasn't that crowded. It might have been because it was a lovely day, but I appreciated that it wasn't crawling with kids. They also have an arcade section that you have to pay for. The arcade accepts credit/debit cards too. I told my son no, but it's an option. I will definitely be back.

The owner is really nice and accommodating. Front desk staff needs to be the same. The place could…read morebe a little cleaner. My toddler was too scared for the bigger slides so he stayed in the little kids section. The day passes are fairly priced.

Nicole said the owner, Nikki was absolutely wonderful, super accommodating, set up all the decorations, ordered the pizza, and just organized everything so well. I noticed Nikki was also very good with the kids and kept everything running as smooth as possible. I think she had a few other instructors or helped but for the most part, she did everything by herself. When we first arrived, the kids got to run around a bit and play with all the equipment. They had tons of play mats scattered around the room, a small ball pit, rings, parallel bars, high bars, zip lining, and a few other small kids activities. Our group had kids that varied in ages from 2-16 years old. Many of the parents, super young and the older kids were just hanging around watching the other kids play. The area is spacious and clean. Nikki would gather the kids to do different activities such as zip lining, parachute and tumbling. Then she would allow them a break in between and let them go play on their own. Once the pizza arrived, the kids got to go into the birthday room and eat and drink. They had enough pizza for some of the parents too. Then kids went to play and we gathered the kids to sing happy birthday and cut the cake. I think with the party, you invite the guests and bring a cake. They take care of everything else! Our kids had a blast and everything was well organized. Even the parents had a good time. At one point, our husbands were hanging out in the small ball pit. Haha.
