Clean facility, friendly staff, and plenty of activities for a toddler to burn off some energy on a cold & rainy Florida day. $20 entry fee (no charge for adults or children under one) for 3 hrs of open play. All climbing areas are also accessible for adults, in case you need to go help your kid or want to enjoy the fun. Bounce house was tucked away in the back of store. No shoes allowed, so bring socks!

We recently visited Kids Empire in Bradenton, and overall it was a mixed experience with both…read morepositives and drawbacks. Check-In & Pricing The check-in process is straightforward, but I highly recommend completing the waiver online before you go--it makes the entry much faster, especially when it's busy. Pricing, however, is on the steep side. Admission was the same almost $20 for my 15-month-old as for older kids, even though they barely used the equipment, including the toddler area. There are also attempts to upsell you on crane games and ride-on motorcycle machines, which adds to the feeling that the outing can get pricey fast. They sell food and drinks inside and prohibit outside food or beverages, which further pushes you toward additional purchases. Crowds & Atmosphere We visited on a Monday morning during a school holiday, and it was fairly busy. We stayed almost four hours just to feel like we were getting our money's worth. The temperature inside was surprisingly cold--uncomfortably so--and the disco room was not only freezing but also extremely loud. Cleanliness & Safety For the most part, the facility was clean. At one point a child had an accident in the play structure, and staff cleaned it up quickly--though unfortunately, our friends stepped in it before it was noticed. The bathrooms were clean early on but developed a noticeable urine smell as the day went on. In the baby area, someone had eaten Doritos in the ball pit, and my toddler kept finding orange crumbs, which was pretty gross. Safety-wise, some of the climbing structures need attention. The tower had open holes that felt unsafe, especially for smaller or less coordinated kids. Supervision & Environment Most parents seemed attentive, but a noticeable handful were either working on laptops or absorbed in their phones, leaving their kids to roam unattended. This isn't fully the facility's fault, but it does affect the overall atmosphere and safety - especially for smaller children. Food Policy The food available for purchase is mostly junk food--chips, Takis, sugary applesauce pouches, etc. Because outside food isn't allowed, we had to step outside so our kids could have healthier snacks. Unfortunately, the immediate outside area isn't in the nicest neighborhood, and there's nowhere to sit. At the very least, a bench outside would be a thoughtful addition for families trying to accommodate dietary needs or simply avoid feeding their kids junk. Overall Kids Empire offers a large, engaging indoor playground that kids enjoy, and it's reasonably clean. But the high price, upselling, cold environment, safety concerns in some structures, and restrictive food policy make it far from perfect.

Fun spot for kids. Located in South Lake Complex in Clermont…read more We came here for our cousin Nicole & Greg's kid's 6th birthday party. Nicole said the owner, Nikki was absolutely wonderful, super accommodating, set up all the decorations, ordered the pizza, and just organized everything so well. I noticed Nikki was also very good with the kids and kept everything running as smooth as possible. I think she had a few other instructors or helped but for the most part, she did everything by herself. When we first arrived, the kids got to run around a bit and play with all the equipment. They had tons of play mats scattered around the room, a small ball pit, rings, parallel bars, high bars, zip lining, and a few other small kids activities. Our group had kids that varied in ages from 2-16 years old. Many of the parents, super young and the older kids were just hanging around watching the other kids play. The area is spacious and clean. Nikki would gather the kids to do different activities such as zip lining, parachute and tumbling. Then she would allow them a break in between and let them go play on their own. Once the pizza arrived, the kids got to go into the birthday room and eat and drink. They had enough pizza for some of the parents too. Then kids went to play and we gathered the kids to sing happy birthday and cut the cake. I think with the party, you invite the guests and bring a cake. They take care of everything else! Our kids had a blast and everything was well organized. Even the parents had a good time. At one point, our husbands were hanging out in the small ball pit. Haha. Good times and a fun way to celebrate with family! Below is everything included in the birthday packages. Totally reasonable and affordable. Check them out and support local businesses. There were children younger and older than him, all thoroughly enjoying themselves. The check in staff were very friendly. We bought a small package for while we're in town and thought the price was fair. They have lots of different areas: toddler/infants (play kitchens, small toys, blocks, etc), art (including smocks), calming room (if it's too much stimulation) and LOTS of gross motor skill activities (exercise equipment, trampoline, rock climbing wall, zip line, swings, etc). The whole gym as foam floors and there are foam pits under larger things (zip line, jungle gym, rock wall, etc). Everything seemed clean, bathrooms were clean too! There's also a large party room... what a great place for a party. They are inclusive for all kids including neuro & physical diversities.

I am a certified school teacher, and have taught special ed in the past. I have worked with OTs for many of my students as well. It is so amazing to have all these sensory tools at your disposal at this playground. There are multiple types of swings, for toddlers and big kids alike. There is a rock climbing wall, and extremely safe, spring-less trampoline with yoga balls in it for play. There is also a zip line into a padded pit, and monkey bars with pads underneath, and tons of other activities. There is a toddler/baby area blocked off by a half wall, so they will not be overwhelmed by the activity in the main room. There are dramatic play toys there such as a kitchen, grocery store and baby dolls. My daughter surprisingly loved the car ramp! There are tons of other age appropriate toys there as well. The entire place is padded with the foam type of pads you would put underneath home workout gyms. There is a dimly lit calm down room, with a beautiful blue bubble wall, and jellyfish tent and headphones. My younger daughter is a little quieter and more cautious. She loved being there all by herself and had plenty of time to get acclimated to her surroundings. She was able to run freely around and feel confident. I would definitely recommend checking out the website to see everything that this place has to offer. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into the creation of this indoor playspace, from a very educated perspective!

And if your baby puts something in their mouth they have a basket for you to put the toy in so that no other baby gets to it. So this is a nice protection effort from the staff. I appreciate this. The place was cool and smelled good. I went to another baby playground and it was HOT and felt nasty (and the carpet had hairs) but this place was so clean and comfortable!! My baby was able to play freely and did not overheat. Also, they have snacks and drinks available for purchase. So I purchased a food pouch for my baby. This was very convenient! She loved the play area. She just started walking so this space offered a lot of room for her to practice. She enjoyed exploring! There is so much to do. She didn't seem to want to leave either We will definitely be returning very soon! My only suggestion on if you plan to visit is to call in advance to see if there are any events going on, because it seems that they may close for events? Please correct me if I'm wrong. So I called the morning of to ensure that I could take her.
