After checking around she heard that Skater's Choice was the place to go to get her skates ready for the road. We rolled up on a Saturday and spoke directly to one of the owners. She was able to tell my wife exactly what was going on (wrong wheels for the road). She got her some more appropriate wheels and put them on. She also had a lot of other suggestions for my wife to make her skating experience better. While assisting us, another employee was working with a clearly more experienced skater (who had been doing some skate dancing?). The employee with us was also able to lead him to the skates he needed as well as offer some pointers (while simultaneously continuing to fix my wife's issue). The moral of the story? Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or more experienced, a road skater or skate dancer(?), Skater's Choice can get you fitted and drop the knowledge you need for a successful roll.

After changing wheels/ bearings and adjusting trucks a bunch of times I realized the skates I got were duds. I finally decided to cop a fresh pair of quads here. She helped navigate the selection and we found these beauties with the perfect fit/style! After that I never left the rink again. I am looking forward to breaking these babies in! There are two dj booths and ample seating. A smaller "practice rink" is between the regular rink and the food stand. A great place to skate if you're in Kissimmee. The sound system was great and I'd definitely come here again. The employees I interacted with were nice and the prices in the venue were pretty reasonable. $30 to park not so reasonable but I guess that's the going rate at arenas and stadiums these days and I'm just glad it wasn't more. Getting in and out of the venue was really easy. There is also an ice skating rink here which hosts the local ice hockey team, The Everblades. The rink itself was nice and the ice was well kept.

It's humble, but respectable in terms of size but that's what I love about coming here. Whether concerts or hockey games, intimate is what comes to mind. Most importantly, there's not a bad seat in the house. I've noticed that many stage setups align nicely in your sight even when seated. The seats are also set up properly so you're not obstructed by the row in front of you. Whether you're down low or up high you're going to have a good view of whatever is going on here. Any time I've had interactions with the employees it's been solid. Everyone seems to be friendly & willing to assist you if it's needed. It looks like they enjoy being there & aren't bothered to help out. Customer service goes a long way & they do a good job here. Being on the smaller side makes parking & navigating the property super easy. Everything is where you want it to be. They also aren't shy when it comes to cranking the air conditioning since they're a hockey arena. It's a nice getaway from the FL heat. All in all, if you're considering visiting Hertz for an event I highly suggest it. Their sound system is great, concessions are easy to access & everything is very close.
