Awesome 18 hole miniature golf course! The grounds were very well maintained. Highly recommend!

This may not be ideal for the teenagers in your life, but for the ones under 10 years old, you may get lucky like I did! My 8 yr old daughter LOVED this course. The greens are short enough to hold their interest & long enough to keep them engaged! We were able to play multiple times on the same green without being forced away by oncoming golfers. Feeding the XL koi was a bonus & she loved seeing the turtles in the ponds! Great time & great price! I would highly recommend to parents of littles!

Fish Hole is an interesting course. Most of the effort is on the theme, which is pretty well done. The put put itself is rather simple with lots of par 2 holes; they are very short and it's a compact area. They do a nice job trying to cool the place off with misters and fans, but at 3pm on a July day....oh boy is it still hot? They do give you a coupon to come back and play a 2nd round for $2 if you come back the same day. I've been to both this location and the one in Lakewood Ranch several times. The rounds run about $8...not bad, but like I said it's a short course. If you're on vacation on Bradenton Beach or Anna Maria, then it's a fun stop. Just go in the morning or evening for the best experience IMHO.

    They had turtles!

Great little spot! Our son loves mini golf... we played here 5 times! :) the course is very well maintained, but the holes are smaller than what we are use to, only because the real estate lot is downtown on main street so they had to get 18 holes in. The two teenage boys that were running the place the night we played were very nice and super friendly! We got drinks before and ice cream after from the freezers/refrigerators on site. Thanks fish hole!

We had three people and it was a lot of fun. There was 18 holes, some trickier than others. Several had obstacles like logs to go through, jumping over water, etc. The had a koi pond and the koi were HUGE. We bought fish/turtle food from the golf place and we got to feed the koi and turtles. My one gripe is that the turtle sanctuary area is hidden from the original main mini golf area so we didn't realize there were going to be turtles and ended up feeding all of the food to the koi. Overall, great experience. When we left around 2pm it was starting to get pretty crowded so I would recommend going around 1pm or so to beat the rush.

Super fun old school golf course! They took 13 of us ages 3 thru 47 and we had a blast! Good price per person and 2nd round only $2/person. Plus koi fish in the center and turtles.

    Probably not PGA bound.

We stopped in this morning after breakfast. It was quiet but we weren't the only golfers. Our three year old had been wanting to try mini-golf but.....he's three. We weren't sure how he was going to handle it. Also, we have a15mo old so we knew a busy evening of mini-golf wouldn't be appropriate. We had a great time. Our son putted around breaking every rule of golf and our daughter hung out mostly in her stroller (we pushed her right on through) and even tried some golf herself. The holes were cute and fun. No huge pirate ships or windmills here. Just a small, local mini-golf setting that is perfect for a young family or just a good time.

This place puts the "mini" in mini golf. Super tiny, the greens are crammed in; one putt and done.

Clean friendly service. 4 year old enjoyed the short course. Learned about some fish at the same time.

Great for families with very young children but not teenagers. All 18 holes are very very small.

This place is small, but the attention to detail is superb. Decorated beautifully throughout the 18 holes. The kids loved it!

So the way it works is when you walk up to the little office you go inside buy a game it's per person. You pick your ball they have all different types. You can rent a ball, or you can buy a ball and they have different characters like Star Wars, Pokémon, Disney, cartoons, all types in different colors, and then you get a golf club. They have different sizes from children's size to adult size golf clubs. You can buy a beer or different type of drink while you golf. They also saw snacks, which is fun. So then after you get all that you start going from hole to hole and they all have different styles with a pirate style. You first start you're in a pirate ship. And then you move on. 18 holes. If you play and finish before 10:30 you can play a second round for free. But you play inside caves you play under waterfalls and it's so pretty. The only thing is there's a lot of stairs so if you have bad knees or you're in a wheelchair, this is probably not the ideal place. But at the very end they have alligator feeding and you can buy food and fish the alligator food to them and it's so much fun. They are adorable. We had a blast. We'll definitely do this again. Next time we are in the area.

The staff was so friendly right from the start, and we loved that you can even buy gator food and feed the alligators--such a fun, unique touch! We've probably played at 15-20 mini golf courses from Florida to Massachusetts, and honestly, this one ranks at the very top. I can't even decide what I loved more--the creative course design or the beautiful tropical landscaping. And as if that wasn't enough, they'll deliver alcohol, snacks, and beverages while you play... yes, please! This place really felt special. My late Aunt Cindy V lived in the area for many years, and I know she probably loved this spot too. Her dog Jaxx is happy and sometimes visits us here in Florida if anyone wants to say hi! Can't recommend Smugglers Cove enough! It's the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and good vibes.
