Fun, family friendly spot with lots of stuff to like golf, sports and good food. Can even get your car washed.

This is an interesting place that i stopped in thanks to my fellow yelpers when looking for a golf driving range. It has a bar, grill and ice cream shop as well as a mini golf course. The worst part was the driving range. Very beat up, wandered around for 10 minutes until i found out where to pay - spoiler alert it's at the ice cream counter. Looked like fun spot to have a drink and hit some balls but if you are coming purely for practice it's just ok. read more

My husband and I were looking for a quick date night and stumbled into this location! We had the opportunity to sit outside at the bar, grab some balls to hit golf balls, and finish off the night with some ice cream! All while getting our car washed and detailed while we were having fun! Disgusting and in bad bad shape. Prices, one day after Christmas for 3 Adults and 1 child, $38.00. The place was packed with families and Evie's allowing these vacationing and local families to be conned by playing on a horrible Miniature Golf area. There was dried up pond which you couldn't even play one hole due the stream not working. The other pond was filled with smelly green algae and trash laying at the bottom. Clubs, balls, trash. What a pigs sty! You should be ashamed! Please see picture because as we were there shows the proof of how much money they were making off of good hard working families. The mini golf course was fun and challenging but not too difficult. The problem I had however, was that on the website it was said to be handicap accessible. I took this to mean that a person in a wheelchair should be able to easily access the area and play. So I assumed that if a wheelchair could fit through the course, then my son's stroller should be able to as well. This was my thought process because my almost 2 year old weighs a very solid 30 pounds he gets so heavy. Anyway my thought process was apparently incorrect because there were several holes with steps where my brother and I ended up having to pick up the stroller and carry it up or down them. Or across "rocks" in a "stream". It was entirely too hot for all of that extra work. There was a sign that had a wheelchair on it and an arrow but it was very confusing as to what they meant by it. I still don't know how that mini golf course was handicap accessible but otherwise it was nice and fun! The girl at the register was also very nice! read more

Yes the range balls are really bad but it's a pretty cool spot. Very laid-back and plenty of stalls to hit. One reason for bad range balls because if there were a good balls it would be pretty easy to hit over the back fence for long hitters. But it's a perfect place to take your kids and hit balls with them. They even have a sandbox for them to play when they get bored. And the restaurant looks fun too. read more

This is an over commercialised family hang out. Lots of people in lots of confusion and the food was pretty okay. We enjoyed the mini golf, and it was reasonably priced. For that we are thankful! Not our favourite place but we can take the grandkids there so that works. read more

We've gone to this place for years but it feels like it has continued to regress. I think we're done. There were leaves all over the greens which didn't make for a very fun or even fair attempt to play against each other. The clubs are all dumped into a large garbage type can and then reused without cleaning - and some patrons here didn't make us feel good about that. They have also quit offering military veteran discounts which makes it the most expensive of all other local options- and it's the least desirable IMO. read more

Disappointing mini golf course--a little run down and covered in little leaves. Not well maintained. There were a lot of employees around inside but no one outside taking care of things. We wanted to order a pizza, but noticed everyone in the kitchen area had their masks down around their necks and not on their face. Every year they seem to add new services (tiki bar, car wash) while letting their driving range go. The majority of range balls are worn smooth and, as seen in the photos, some are even chopped up. How expensive can it be to invest in new balls every few years? We've been coming 5+ years and it doesn't seem like they've replaced their balls at all during that time. My guess is that years ago this place was actually legit. Now it seems like a run-down family center that would fit right into the Walking Dead TV series. My girlfriend and I came here strictly for the golf. We were going to hit some balls at their driving range and then finish off with some miniature golf. When you walk inside you purchase the golf balls at the same counter where you order pizza and fountain drinks from. A simple sign letting customers know that would help very much. Only one size of range balls is offered here and it's 50 balls for $5. You buy them inside and get them outside. The ball machine looks like it was going to fall apart. I can't tell if the range balls were limited flight, but they weren't very good. One fourth of my golf balls were pretty beat up and shouldn't be in their rotation. The range didn't have many targets to hit at and half of the flagsticks that were out there were missing the actual flags... They offer grass to hit off of here, although it wasn't available on my visit. Some mats were greener than others and seemed to be in good shape. All of the metal dividers were rusted and were in need of a paint job. The layout here was strange and the place just felt very old and ancient. We didn't bother with the mini golf because it didn't look good at all. I'm not sure how they are a top 50 stand-alone driving range, but it is what it is. read more

Best putt-putt course I've ever played on. Unexpected courses and challenging at times. Very well maintained, wonderful at night, full of water. Not sure what happened in the past but we had a great time. Perhaps you should see if the waterfall is running, you can see it from the road. If it's on, you're good to go. HAD A BLAST. read more

A shabby short course in need of maintenance and cleaning. The staff was rude and snotty.

We love this place. The mini putting course is fun and we have birthday parties here every year. It's affordable to bring 10 kids for only $8/child. Then we go inside and order their pizzas and sodas and the boys play games until the food comes out. It's not fancy but fun!!!And the parents can go to the outside bar area and grab lunch and a cold drink, watch a sports game and chat! read more

What a sorry place to miniature golf! Course is old.and not taken care of, games are not up to date in arcade and young people didn't know to wear gloves and not handle food. Wasn't taking my chances and getting there. Went elsewhere. Not going back read more

They have excellent $$ off special's all week long. Service is outstanding. There stake and cheese sandwich/hogie is to write home about!

Gave me soda water Twice for Sprite. told them and they ended up never changing it and gave me soda water again 20 minutes later.. took forever to get a carry-out box and everybody had an attitude read more

We were just looking for something to do to pass the time before the cruise reception for my friend's wedding and decided mini golf would be good since it's outside. They have a pizza place, mini arcade, ice cream shop and driving range all in the same area. Seems like a fun place for kids. The putt-putt was mediocre compared to many I have been to before. Not much to see on the course but everything seemed to be kept up except along the edges of the holes. The place served it's purpose and kids wouldn't be as picky but for $8.99 for maybe 30 minutes of fun and all the waiting behind kids messing around I wish to get a better value for my buy. Took my kids (8 & 10) here a few times & they love it. There's mini golf which isn't anything like Smugglers Cove but it gets the job done. There's also a mini arcade, pizza & ice cream shop. Oh, golf range as well which is also not PGA material but gets the job done. The ice cream was very tasty & the food we sat down to order & eat was pretty good, nothing negative to say. We did not order the pizza since my kids have allergies so can't comment on that. The arcade like any other is going to drain your wallets. Each person I encountered was pleasant & had a smile on their face so that was nice. I would definitely return to this spot since I didn't have a terrible experience & my kids had a fun time. read more

I found the mini course fun and challenging. The innovative holes were difficult though not impossible and required thought to play well. I thought the western theme was cute and well done. I do not recommend for small children. The course is well maintained, clean and in good repair. I will go again when next in the area. This is a decent place for mini golf and the price was reasonable. They don't really seem to keep an eye on it though so people were leaving drink glasses and some trash around the course. My kids loved the hole that required you to put into a stream. That was unique. We were not there to eat but the pizza smelled great and someone told us it was awesome. read more

Visiting Sarasota with 10 high school girls on a budget. No way in hell that I was going to spend 15 bucks for mini golf for each teen at smugglers cove. That was originally the reason I choose this place. But the reason I will come back is for the amazing Olaf icecream, super sweet staff and the generous group rate of 7 dollars when 8 people or more in a group. I like nice people who give student/ group discounts. Does anyone remember minimum wage rates? They also have a cutey old school arcade. Don't waste your time at smugglers cove- putt putt here and have some icecream. Peace out! read more

What can I say? I will start by saying the WORSE food I have ever had in the 19 years I have lived in Sarasota!! My wife took us all out for my birthday recently the tab was $160.00..So needless to say we ordered a lot of food..Nachos..Who ever heard of Nachos with tomato sauce and the chips out of a bag..Onion Rings? Frozen garbage..Wings?? Advertised as Jumbo? False advertisement at it's peak, small cooked to death, one bite wings..Pizza? Dry no flavor and the sauce out of a can...Yeck City...Place was noisy hot and an added feature? Flies..The service however was outstanding..And the Waitresses very cute and polite..Too bad they do NOT serve food worth eating...No wonder Evie is out on his Yacht I would be too making a bunch of $ off substandard food.. CHEAP Nothing homemade.,..Let me make a suggestion.If you want to have a Beer, and watch very attractive wait staff?
