Splash mountain has height restrictions so we always do a parent swap. Thai little park beneath the ride is a fun and cool way to spend that wait during a parent swap. Well shaded and has cute little slides and play place designed for toddlers. All my girls at one point have played on this and they always have a great time. Makes the wait for the parent swap go by much quicker than just sitting in the heat at other attractions. Overall very cool and hidden gem located at the Disney world parks. Wish more rides had parent swap areas like this.

There is a little playhouse and a slide, which it says is for ages 2-5 but our kindergartener still had a blast. What I like best isn't so much what it is, as where--it is fully in the shade, in a self-contained area with seating for the parents. My two year old was probably a bit confused about what was going on when we climbed into our safari vehicle, and I'm not sure she was totally on board throughout the ride to be honest. Although we've been to Lincoln Park Zoo, she was very very young at the time and would not remember being this close to an animal that wasn't on the level of a dog, snake, or turtle. So whilst I think being mere feet from giraffes, elephants, and wildebeests was unexpected, she said she enjoyed it. The driver was informative and didn't make the embarrassing jokes that the "captain" of the Jungle Cruise did, for which I'm thankful. In addition to the aforementioned animals, we came across black and white rhinos, lions, hippos, cheetahs, flamingos, and more. The ride was leisurely and comfortable, and there's no height requirement so anyone can ride. This was a lot of fun to start our first visit to Disney World. It's a very popular ride, apparently. 45+ minute wait times are not uncommon. We used a lightning lane to cut through most of it but we did have to wait 10 minutes or so before we got on. I'd definitely recommend lightening lanes for this one!

The Maharajah Jungle Trek is a self guided walking trail in Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's designed as an immersive exploration. You can wander at your own pace and is typically not too busy. You'll see a variety of beautifully themed architecture, crumbling palace ruins, hand painted murals, weathered stone archways, and so much more. The trail is fascinating. I saw Komodo Dragons, Eld's deer, gibbons, aviary birds, the giant fruit bats Malayan Flying Foxes, the majestic tigers, and more! There were some excellent viewing spaces and it wasn't too busy when my mom and I went on the journey! Throughout the trail, there was a variety of informational display and narrative elements. This included history of the region and conservation. The cast members also shared additional insights, making the experience amazing. This is one of the park's most beautiful and immersive experiences. I highly recommend visiting this while you're in Animal Kingdom. There is also the Wilderness Explorers badge stations as well!

The map of the place & getting around isnt too bad , could use more signs though. Ive been to resorts that are just a lot more easy to understand. & yes this includes the website. I didnt see any gold or paddle boat. As i said it was tricky getting help some from someone as the employee around dont know anything and the front desks are just busy. Other resorts have people waiting and standing around looking to help you and sell you stuff, looking to help you have the best time, they play with you and everything. SO GROSS - RUN FAR AWAY from this place…read more This was the grossest hotel I've stayed at in a really long time. It's comical that they call this a resort. If you are considering staying at this hotel please view the pictures I am attaching. This is the state of the room when we checked in, and also after they came and did a "deep clean" when we called to complain. I think the thing that shocked me the most was that when we called the front desk to say 1- there was vomit with mold growing on it outside the door to the room 2-the counters had white powder, debris and grime on them, 3- there was obvious crumbs, stains and chunks of white stuff on the carpet 4-our chairs were black outside that were supposed to be white 5-bathrooms were filthy The front desk received those comments with absolutely no surprise or shock in their voice, like they receive calls like that all the time. They then told us there was nothing they could do to help us because no one was there to clean rooms. They didn't offer to come themselves or to give us cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves. They did steam clean the carpet where the puke was, but the mold grew right back the next day. I'm telling you; stay away from this place something is wrong with the circulation - you're going to be breathing in mold. Furthermore, There were no pans in the room, no broom, no coffee maker. Dishwasher didn't work, and had nasty stuff in it. Washer and dryer were dirty. Just absolutely disgusting, I have a 2 year old toddler too who honestly made me sick because she was playing on the floors in this place. Never ever ever ever would come back here, wouldn't come back here if they paid me to stay here - SO GROSS

It doesn't go too fast so no hair trouble (did not even have to remove my hat) or motion sickness. It's a pretty short ride, just long enough for it not to become same old. I had never done this ride here before so imagine my surprise when the line led us inside a building that has an incredible play area for kids in it. You get a buzzer that will go off once it's your turn to go sit in your Dumbo. Brilliant, am I right? It's all incredibly well done. The area is made really fun and my kid was almost disappointed it was our time to go Dumbo. If you're looking for a break from the sunshine and walking, this place has seating and air conditioning.

Walking through this park, along winding paths surrounded by lush trees and greenery, feels like a breath of fresh air. Being surrounded by so much nature somehow reminds you of what really matters. And don't miss the safari! It's so much fun, great for the whole family, and also a nice break from all the walking. Kali River Rapids are spectacular if you don't mind getting completely soaked . If you go between 11 AM and 2 PM in the middle of summer, it can honestly save your day--and you'll be dry again in about half an hour. We managed to get a few drinks for the kids and us. Folks were *generally* (see below) well behaved and we brought our pool noodles into the river to avoid the steep floaty fee. We were not expecting as many drunk adults trying to skirt the floaty rental requirement or entitled kids climbing all over the rocks that clearly said "do not climb" but that's how it is sometimes.
