A little one has been asking for a while now to take him zip lining. He just hasn't been tall enough. For his birthday, I surprised him with a trip to go play in the trees. We had so much fun! Walking across the suspension bridges and rope bridges is no easy task. It took us about 20 minutes to complete the course and we had worked up a good sweat at this point. There was one obstacle which I thought was gonna be the end of our day because of the fear it caused the child. With encouragement from both myself and the guide on the ground, he did it. After that, there was no stopping him. We were glad we brought water, though you can purchase all day water for a small fee. We even brought snacks for in between each trip around. This was the child's favorite activity from the weekend. Now, he just needs to grow some so we can try out the next course. read more

What a great activity that's vastly different than your normal day to day! The guides/instructors were extremely friendly and helpful and made you feel comfortable throughout the day. The courses were well monitored as there were multiple guides throughout providing moral support and guidance. The courses itself - there are 5 total - are fun and adventurous and make you really use muscles you probably haven't used in a long time! The courses gradually get harder, and our whole group stopped at the 4th one.. but it took a good chunk of time to finish those 4 and we were happy with what we had accomplished. Three of us had a great afternoon up in the treetops today. It was my first time but my wife and son had been there before. Very impressed with the course and the care for the trees. But the staff was amazing: polite, super helpful, encouraging, professional and humorous. Witnessed several "rescues" and noticed the guides were calm and super considerate of the guest's safety and feelings. I got a Christmas present for my 9 y old daughter.When we went out there and got finished the safety course we hade to complete a practice course with one of the guides.my 9y old daughter who is above the age and hight limit for the course could not operate the new hornist system. ( according to the guide they have lots of people complain with kids due to difficulties of the system)so we couldn't even start the course. Haded back to the office , explained what happens and I requested a refund. However because it was a gift certificate they don't do refunds , so I left with no refund , sad child and an unpleasant experience. we will never go back there!!!! This place is awesome! My kids absolutely loved it and there is no charge for spectators. They have pathways with benches to view the entire course. Lots of fun rope courses and zip lines. After a thorough tutorial of what to do you are able to begin the course. You are able to go through the course on your own with your own timing. There are plenty of resting stops between the different courses where you can get water to rehydrate. I highly recommend the water pass and the gloves. We brought our 5 ladies here for a bachelorette party. All we did was the quick zip (as we only needed a 1 hour event). We were honestly expecting a dinky little zip line that you go down twice. We were thrilled to find that with the quick zip ticket, we got to travel up three rope bridges on the way to the zip line (which was longer and higher than we expected) and we got to do it all twice! It made for a perfect little event, and the staff was all super friendly and made changing the reservation to a couple hours later so easy. Where to begin! Staff was super friendly and informative, we arrived at 1:30 and it was about 70° out, perfect weather. We did out training and headed to a small practice coarse near check in. There was a guide at each level for assistance and of coarse if we needed to be rescued in the event a level was too much. None of my group needed it but only 3/6 made it to level 4 & 1 to level 5. They get harder each level but ultimately this was an awesome experience. PS. You don't need to be athletic but decent shape is required as it is 99% about upper body strength! read more

I took my nephew and sister to TreeUmph near Brandeton Florida. Great place for a serious workout or just a casual tree climb/bridge walk. Best of both worlds. The staff is fantastic. I was so pleased after COVID/2020 to see a young staff working and so enthusiastic about what they do and the service they provide. They are great to interact with. I cannot say enough about their professionalism, customer care, and presence. They have a great wire suspension/harness arrangement that prevents you from falling. It looks complicated, but after the demo - it's easy. If you ever get stuck, or wanna get down, simply yell "Guide Guide Guide!" And the staff come fetch you. They are really good about that. Courses: There are 5 courses and a kids course. The kids course is yeah, for kids. Courses 1-2 are easy for adults and kids (the kids kept passing me). These courses are close to the ground. Course 3 is kids doable, but the challenge and height off the ground increases. Course 4 is really for adults or teenagers. You're about 40 feet off the ground, and using much more of your body to traverse obstacles. Course 5 is a serious challenge to finish (its like those Ninja challenges on TV - and it's about 50 feet in the air). I turned back halfway through the second obstacle - I was gassed. My 13-year nephew finished all of course 5 (and won't let me forget it). Some tips: There are walk paths on the ground all along the courses. Great for people in your group who want to watch, take pictures. It's a nice walk for them. If you plan to do course 3, 4, or 5, wear some gloves. You can buy them through TreeUmph or bring some thin gloves with a plastic grips. I happened to bring some with me (the kind the VFW send with their fundraising campaign packets) and that was enough. Definitely get the water package if it's warm weather, or you plan to attempt courses 1-3, 1-4 or 1-5. It takes 2 hours+ generally, and you're expending a lot more energy than you think as time goes by. I would highly recommend this venture to beginners and the fit alike who want to try elevated obstacle traversal. read more

This place was SO much fun! At first we were a little put off by the price, but you will spend hours there and have a blast. I went with a group and we had a to of of fun laughing at each other trying to balance and hang on. We made it through course 3 (plus the zip line) and it took us about 3 hours. We had lunch in the middle so were there a total of 4 hours. A few in our group remained for course 4 and they finished up about an hour later. The staff was great and very responsive when people needed help. They also made sure you knew what you were doing during the training before you got on the course. It took a little bit to get the hang of it, but after the first course, you're a "pro". If you are thinking about going: - no you don't need to be super athletic or have a ton of upper body strength. You might just finish the first 3 courses and that will be plenty of a challenge. - height is definitely an issue so check their website. I'm only 5 ft and some things were hard to reach. It made it more challenging at times - don't wear a hat or sunglasses. It makes it way more difficult, you hotter, and they might fall off (my husbands did!!) - bring gloves. Or you can buy them there - use the bathroom before you put the harness on - it's very safe. I wasn't worried about falling in the least. Some points they could improve on: - the junior course should be longer. My daughter is 10 but very short. She could only do the junior course and it wasn't big. You are limited to three times around. She had fun, but wished there was more. She was ready to go way before us - water should be included. You have to purchase an unlimited water ticket or carry water (that would be a pain). I feel like the cost of the ticket should include water (or just increase the cost of the tickets and give out free water) Bottom line- it's a blast for adults and teenagers. Make a full day out of it (bring your lunch) and you won't be disappointed. read more

Why 5 stars? Because it's like if going to the gym was fun. --- --- --- Despite shedding a bunch of weight this year, I've never been one of those people that professes to love going to the gym, and I don't think I'll ever make it to that level. But when you visit a place like Treeumph, it really does make getting in shape feel like fun, which is why I love it. I hate to reference competitor businesses when I'm writing reviews, but it's impossible to not compare TreeUmph to TreeHoppers in Dade City. They are the only two businesses like this in all of Tampa Bay, but the good news is - they are both awesome, and unique in their own way! I visited TreeHoppers 6-8 weeks before I went to TreeUmph, and was a little worried that TreeUmph would have a lot of the same obstacles, but it turned out that they were all quite unique. There were a couple of courses that seemed similar, but were definitely not carbon copies of each other. I made it through the highest difficulty level courses at each park, and while TreeUmph's Course #5 was no walk in the park, I thought Double-Black at TreeHoppers was definitely tougher. It also could have had something to do with the fact that I was in better shape when I visited TreeUmph, but I definitely completed the courses quicker and wasn't sore the next day. With that being said, I would not attempt to complete Course #5 unless you are very prepared. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful all throughout the day, as we encountered at least a dozen different employees while we were here. The equipment seemed tricky at first, but we got used to it, about 5 minutes into the first course. The only nitpicky things I'd point out are: 1) The safety harness that went through my legs teetered on being too tight for my nether-region. The guy who initially put it on me didn't seem to be very aware about how sensitive things can be down there. After I winced, he asked me if I was alright and then yanked it up again. Throughout the day, it was threatening to make my day less fun with one wrong move, but fortunately that did not happen. 2) They charge you for gloves, and they are of the finger-less variety. That seems great for picture-taking purposes, but honestly, you need gloves to cover your fingers. I definitely would recommend bringing your own! So if you're like me and can't get enough of a place like this, definitely check out both TreeUmph and TreeHoppers. If you live much closer to TreeUmph and would rather save on drive-time, you definitely won't get bored with returning to TreeUmph multiple times. Whether you're trying to push your limits and knock out every course, or you just want to experience some family-friendly fun, this is an awesome place to visit! read more

Amazing! We loved coming here. At first you're stuck in a really long line with kids and parents some kids can not figure out how to do the clipping in and out. Once you get to the third course it starts to thin out and then the fourth is really nice and empty. It gets progressively more challenging until the top dog course number five. O my goodness it might have been the hardest thing I've ever done. My arms are jelly still typing this. You are super high up and really have to use your arm muscles and core. They have ripe bridges, swinging logs, swinging rings, ladders, and zip lines! Also if you complete the fifth course you get a free drink from a local bar (I got sangria and it was delicious). Very fun course but there is some down sides to the place. They don't space out people very well so a long wait between courses. As well as the face covering rules which are BS because when you walk up half the staff doesn't have there's on. But they ask you to wear face covering and are extremely rude about it. It's a outside facility and we now have the vaccine. Just wouldn't come back to this place on first impression getting yelled at by the faculty members who aren't even wearing face coverings themselves. Two of my sons and nephew did the 5 courses and my youngest did the amp up course. Although challenging they all want to come back. I also want to add that Abby was fantastic with my youngest at the amp up course. I celebrated my 24th birthday this last weekend with 11 friends at Treeumph, and I wanted to give a huugeee thank-you to all the amazing staff there!! They made every step of this a breeze from me calling with a barrage of questions for 2 days straight trying to get my big group organized and taken care of- Rachel & Naomi were extremely helpful, letting me know my options and ending up choosing the adult party package which included access to all of their courses, unlimited cold water throughout the day and a reserved picnic table for the group. Morning of check in was a breeze, we watched a brief introductory video and then got hands on training with Martha before being set free. They offered help and advice when needed but let us go wild and enjoy our day on our own. The courses were so much fun and had something for everyone, we only had one in our group brave enough to do the 5th course and some tapped out after the 3rd but every single person was all smiles and laughs. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure, I'll definitely be back! Ps They offer bug spray there (yes you want it).
