The playground has swings for different age groups and abilities. My kids enjoyed going down the slides, the rope- and rock-climbing structures, musical elements, and spinning structure. There's plenty of shade over the playground and benches for parents. The newly opened splash pad was a hit with my kids. Plenty of shaded seating for parents and bathrooms are nearby. Don't forget to pack snacks for the kids (please clean up after your family), sunscreen and reusable water bottles. Not as crowded before 12 pm.

My daughter, who is almost 4years old was able to utilize the older kids area without any challenges. There are some pavilions with benches and tables to avoid the direct sun. Perfect for groups. There is also a bathroom on site but it's much to be desired. The playground is adjacent to a ballpark, not sure the protocol to use it. I would definitely return though to the playground if I'm in the area.

The park is ran by the Hillsborough County and is open from dawn to dusk. Only service animals are allowed but I've seen people come here with their dogs. There are water fountains and plenty of metal trash bins. I'm sure there are bathrooms but I never stay long enough to find one. There is a covered area with picnic tables but the playground and the playground has swings and slides. It's designed for children age 5-12. The playground is in an ideal area under large moss covered trees. I do recommend this park and will upload more pictures on our next visit!

This attraction's Sesame Street mascot is the Cookie Monster, who is a blue furry monster with googly eyes and an insatiable appetite. Cookie Monster's primary craving is cookies, but he can and often does consume anything and everything, from apples and pie to letters, flatware, and hubcaps. When Cookie Monster eats something, he makes a very distinct, loud munching "noise", often interpreted as "OMM-nom-nom-nom..." & says "Me want cookie!" Instead of "I want a cookie". After winning a game show contest, Cookie Monster comically choose 1 cookie over an array of luxurious much more valuable and better prizes.

I would say 9/10 times that we come here the dogs and their owners are very friendly! The owners are alert of their own dogs and it keeps the energy very positive to keep coming back. Some of toys were old and were thrown everywhere, of course expected by children but it made the play area very messy and hard to maneuver around. It was okay overall but it was just smaller and space was a bit tight for everything. Parents didn't really watch their kids so they would be stealing toys from other kids and it wasn't really a friendly place for my child. A lot of parents were there to socialize with other parents so they didn't watch their kid so that posed a danger to their children and every one else's.

The staff was welcoming, helped me with a mistake that I made with registering and even had a toddler music class included with the admission. The toddler area was great fun for the lo and she even loved the "big" kid area as well. They have a full cafe with kid favorite lunches and coffee for the moms.
