This place is just too cute and a great place for kids to get their energy out. I feel like it is always so clean and they are really strict with their shoe policy, which ties into the cleanliness. You can pay per visit or buy a punch pass. You don't have to purchase special socks, you just need to make sure they Do Not have grips on the bottom of them. The arcade is huge and gives kids a different avenue of play but of course it costs additional money. There are also plenty of places to sit. This play place is fun for kids, but there are definitely some downsides. It's pretty expensive for what you get, and my kids always seem to get hurt on the slide, which is concerning. I love that you can come back later the same day once you leave--its nice to have the flexibility. On the positive side, the kids' snack pack is a good price and a nice option if your kids get hungry while playing. Overall, the kids still enjoy it, but between the cost and safety concerns, I'm not sure it's somewhere we'd go to often. read more

The good- it's a great way for kids to get their energy out and learn some social interaction skills. The workers here are very nice when interacting with them. Other than these points, it's not so good. The bad- exceptionally dirty. I took a few photos, but obviously it's difficult since it's full of kids lol. The images show what seems like months of dirt and grime buildup. The rest of the place is very dirty too. We were the first people to arrive promptly at 10am and there were wrappers, drink spills and other items that were left behind from the previous day. The whole place is filthy and seems to at most get cleaned once a month. Additionally, 90% of the claw machines are a waste of time and it's clear they're setup this way. Once you claw an item and the cord retracts bringing the claw to the top, it's automatically opens the claw dripping the items. I did this over and over again on all the claw machines and only the Golden Egg machine and candy machine lets you win anything. I also watched parent after parent try the claw machines with the same result. I brought this up to the staff, they were nice about it, but advised that many people complain about the same thing and they tell management, but nothing ever gets fixed. Final conclusion, the owners/managing team doesn't value longevity, they're scrapping by until they can't keep up anymore and the business falls. Nephew's birthday party was held here and they forgot to tell my sister that they weren't providing the cake. Then they never had Huggie come out. Both were in the package paid for. They told my sister that kids are not allowed to climb up the tower with the strips that kids fall through (see pic). Which is fine but hilarious that they pointed to the sign at the top of the tower that supposedly says this. Because, you know, people climb up from the top of the tower. The other hilarious thing is the ban on grip socks (because kids use them to climb up the slide) as you see multiple kids and adults alike slipping and sliding on their slick floors. We love how the place has evolved over the years and offers so much fun to my 5 year old! We've been taking her here since 2022 when she was just two years old and even back then, it was such a great place to take a toddler! My kids did not love this indoor playground compared to others we've visited. It needs a lot of tlc-- playground was pretty filthy and lots of missing balls in the ball pit area. There were also numerous unhinged teenagers in the trampoline area and my 4 year old got trampled on with no staff around. We were in the separate trampoline area where all the smaller kids were in. This place needs a complete revamp and more staff roaming around. read more

It's a fun place for kids but could use some direction at the front check in. The check in counters are always hectic...always. The process is a but chaotic and the space to check in is also small for the crowd it draws in. The purple slide hurt my ankle on the way down -not the kids because no one complained - but mine since I had to sit with them go get them to play....probably because it's not made for adults lol Pink slide can be a bit intimidating but I believe adults can go with the kids to help them. We had such a great experience at Kids Empire in Gilbert! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming--especially Ryan, who went above and beyond to make our visit amazing. He was super friendly, patient with the kids, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys his job. It really makes a difference when someone brings that kind of positive energy! The play area itself is HUGE, clean, and packed with activities that kept our kids busy for hours--climbing structures, slides, obstacle courses, and even a fun dance floor with music and lights. There's a separate area for toddlers too, which we appreciated. As a parent, I loved how safe and well-organized everything was. Plenty of places to sit and relax while still keeping an eye on the kids, and the entire facility was spotless. Staff were constantly tidying and checking in, which made us feel even more comfortable. This place is perfect for playdates, birthday parties, or just escaping the Arizona heat for some indoor fun. Kids Empire Gilbert is a indoor playground located in SanTan Village. My family was visiting Phoenix from Las Vegas. On a Monday, my daughter and I decided to stop by Kids Empire Gilbert! It was pretty easy to get to and there was ample amount of parking available. My daughter and I had arrived as soon as Kids Empire Gilbert opened. Since it was our first time, we had to sign a waiver. After we signed a waive, we paid for entry into the Kids Empire. Parents are free. There are plenty of table seating available and benches situated through the Kids Empire indoor playground. You'll also need to bring socks. A container is provided to put your shoes in which you can keep at your table. No outside food or drink is allowed inside the facility. There are so many activities inside Kids Empire. Climbing: A combination of different climb elements. Spinning Creative Building Riding (requires a Kids Empire playcard and takes tokens off of the playcard) Sliding Kicking the ball (soccer arena) Dancing (Dance floor!) Obstacle courses I ended up purchasing my daughter a playcard while we were at Kids Empire as well. There are a few arcade games that require the playcard, including riding the vehicle in the obstacle course. My daughter ended up spending 3+ hours at Kids Empire and really enjoyed her time at the indoor playground! We didn't get a chance to try out their snacks, but it did look relatively expensive. Though there weren't any team members inside the actual playground, a few of the team members were going around and cleaning the tables/flooring. It was a little concerning as more people started to come in and play at the indoor playground. As we left the facility, an incident did occur. read more

My husband and 4 year old used 8 flames to win a prize in a game. It was a huge Mario character. My son was really excited about it and running to show me. Then a worker comes up and snatches the toy out of my husbands hands in front of our excited son! She says "you can't just steal these! You have to win." Confused as to what she was talking about we said "um we did win. We paid and won the game". She told us we can't open the door and take it. We said, again, we didn't TAKE it. We WON it! Once we won the game, the door opened to grab our prize. Finally she realized she was wrong and realized the game was not out of order and we did win fairly. No apology for accusing us and no apology for snatching it from a grown mans hands in front of his children. We immediately left. We were angry and shocked that someone would ever do that, especially in front of children. It is wild!! Ok heads up before you go to this indoor playground so there are no surprises to put you in a pissed off mood. Lols * 2 adults per kid are free. I think it's only an extra $5 per extra adult. Kids are almost $25. Yes yikes but you can stay the whole day and they allow in and out access as long as you show your receipt. Kids 10 months + still pay $25. That is a bit much... * Make sure you sign the waiver online BEFORE you go so you don't have to wait in another line there to sign it * Adults and kids need socks since no shoes are allowed past the check in lobby area. Even if adults are not playing. * Plastic tubs and bags for your shoes are located to the right when you walk in and you bring it with you to wherever you sit * Outside food and drinks are not allowed buuuuut I saw people sneak in some snacks and they said water is ok. Staff doesn't really seem to monitor that so if you hide it coming in and find a spot in some far off corner, you prob will get away with it. Lols * There is a snack shop to buy candy, chips, drinks, ice cream bars and those crustless pb sandwiches. Of course since you can't bring your own stuff you're forced to get something here like I was bc my kids saw it * There are a lot of tables and chairs so that's nice * You can't just open the gate to enter the play area, staff has to buzz you in I read all the bad reviews before I went here for the first time so I was ready with low expectations! I met up with friends and their kids on a Saturday around 1 and stayed until almost 5. It was busy but not like scary crowded busy. The staff I interacted with to buy my tickets and food were nice. Honestly, this place is not as bad as I thought it would be! My kids had a blast and didn't want to leave. There was a lot to see and do for them. I even went up to play to scope things out. It was clean and even saw staff cleaning the play areas. There is a lil toddler area bc the big playground in the center is crazy with kids running all over. There are some activities like the motorcycle ride and arcade you have to pay extra for by purchasing a "fun card" but surprisingly it was affordable. The bathroom stank so please stick some air fresheners up in there... Would I go again? Sure! But not all the time. Is this place worth it to drive miles for? No! But if you're in the area, it's something the kids will enjoy especially in the summer to get out of the heat. read more

Safety -- No employee is watching the playground which means parents who are also not watching their children on the playground so kids take matters into their own hands to create an unsafe environment. Including riding the bicycles down the huge slides and hitting others. I legitimately yelled at kids for doing this as the bike almost hit my toddler as the kid let go of it while coming down the slide. Parents don't watch their children.
