Unfortunately my family has lost what used to be one of our favorite stores to shop at. Today we went in looking for certain items before going out of town. We found a purple jacket for $27. Very nice jacket. But the cashier scanned all our items but the jacket. She took the jacket and went to another employee and they were taking without saying anything to me or my wife. She then went to a computer and began typing something up and me and my wife began talking and wondering what she was doing. She came back and said "okay it's $34". My wife said "no, it said it was $27" the worker then reassured us "no, it's $34. This item was brand new" as if we didn't know it had the new price tag along with the store tag of $27 on it. My wife and I assumed maybe we were wrong. We chose not to get it. We left and called our siblings that were on FaceTime with us while we had looked at that same jacket and our siblings CONFIRMED THE PRICE WAS $27 NOT $34. So I went back in and asked if she changed the price. But she stuck by her story and said that it didn't have a tag on it except for the new tag. My wife and I definitely would have remembered that if it were true. I'm disappointed that the store has workers who would actually lie. As the day goes on me and my wife are still in shock that they would actually do that. I'm very disappointed. I can't shop at a place who has no integrity. Even though they have great deals. Still... you should be honest and own your original price. And if it was priced wrong, then explain that. Don't lie. I wouldn't expect this at the Dunwoody location. This is unacceptable. I had a terrible experience with my recent drop-off buy. I brought in 25 quality items and was told by a white male employee at drop-off that my buy would be ready the next day (Sunday). I even confirmed this twice because I know buys normally aren't processed on Sundays, but he assured me it would be done in 24 hours. On Sunday, I never received any call or text, so I called the store. Emily told me they don't process buys on Sundays, and only after I explained the situation she said she would process it as a "one-time courtesy." Minutes later I received a message saying my buy was processed and that I was offered only $11. I've sold to this store many times before and have NEVER been quoted that low. I came to the store immediately and told Emily I wanted my full buy back. She told me I couldn't get my items back because they had already been put on the floor or donated. That made no sense because my buy had supposedly just been processed. After I pushed back, Emily checked the donation bin--over 20 of my items were sitting right there on top, clearly not processed or priced yet. Only 4 were actually in the bin. That means I was basically offered less than $1 per item, which is insulting. This experience felt dishonest and careless. Emily processed the buy, and I believe my items were undervalued and mishandled. I'm an avid customer and I've never had an issue before, but this has completely changed my view of the store. I won't be selling or shopping here again unless this is addressed. read more

I came into this location on October 14th at 12:30 PM. Would recommend any other location, to be honest. This place is a joke, whereas, the Johns Creek one is fantastic. I came in with my kid's clothes folded in a laundry basket, but the young lady at the front was extremely rude. I asked if a manager could help with my buy instead because she became belligerent, but she refused. I asked for her name, and she would not give it to me, nor was she wearing a name tag. All brand new with tags and they only gave her $9, and then when she went back to go get the stuff they told her she can't have it. My first experience here was not the best as there policies are outrages . I came in to sell due to summer cleaning I had a lot items that my kid had outgrown . When I came in they were pretty busy and there wait time was 2hrs and you have to wait in the store . No buts. I choose to drop off since I had plans . They pre sort the items . They took 34 items . Majority shoes and name brand clothes . The next day I came to store to pick up the money . To my surprise it was only 63$ for 34 items . To me that's so low . And I wasn't expecting much but that's $2 per item . Due to there policies I wasn't able to take my items back bc they presort and put on the floor . this is my honest review for all of these locations. I'm gonna say since this is not a bigger chain like once upon a child, they severely skimp for the things that you bring in and say that your clothes are too weathered or look like they were washed or worn out. Of course they're gonna be washed if I'm giving them away. they expect new clothes or new looking clothes straight out the pack and give you three dollars for it. The clothes that I have look like the rest of the clothes in the store. And they say they take baby cribs, but then they say that they either have too many or they don't have enough room which is a huge stretch and a big fat lie because if once upon a child will take my pack and play and they are usually crowded in there, that says something. Once upon a child gets more traffic, but the once upon a child with the most traffic are more willing to take things. it's unfortunate that no one will take my crib or my car seat because I guess the safety regulations are they wanna lie and say they don't have enough room. I brought in my bumbo seat which you can put at the table for your kid and a few clothes and they gave me $36. I mean that's decent. But if I took it to kid to kid they would give me half that amount I'd be lucky if I even got half that amount or $15. I'm gonna stop coming here every single time that I go to one of these locations I'm only leaving with like three dollars. read more

Avoid like the plague go to ANY OTHET LOCATION BUT THIS ONE, terrible customer service Extremely rude employees. Regretted going there but it was on the way to where I was going today. Went there with a laundry basket of nicely folded clothes and was greeted by an unhappy upset looking girl who didn't even great me when I walked in, just told me to put my items down and to sigh in. Then was told if I was leaving the store I would have to take my items out of my basket and then refold them into a tiny black bin. I might as well clock in if I'm doing all that no other location has that policy. Then was told it might not even get done today?! I quickly took my items back and left and heard them making rude comments about me as I left. I have never experienced such terrible service and policy's at a buy sell trade store in my entire life. I took it back the next and picked out another jogger "like new." They happily exchanged it. However, the new stroller was missing the child's snack tray.
