I had been to the store once before, for a "Meet the Doulas" evening, presented by Lumina Birth. The store is very cute, clean, bright and welcoming and boutique-y. My goal was to find a few dresses that I could wear to work and perhaps something casual for weekends. One very friendly and helpful sales lady was working and she asked if I needed help, but let me shop in peace when I said I was just looking. I ended up asking a few questions and asking for her help. I tried on quite a few things, and she was more than willing to help me evaluate the fit. I am petite to begin with, and as they don't have petite sizes (as most maternity stores don't), I thought I would have a hard time finding things that fit well. She was very helpful in suggesting some white crop leggings (I love leggings!) with a cute top, and she pulled out a dress that had just come in. I ended up getting it, so she steamed if for me while I was trying on other things. I came away with 3 dresses and the leggings/top outfit, plus a black cami. I had a 20% coupon but it still came up to over $400. Eek! But, I know this is what I will be wearing for the next 3 months and I'm sure I can wear most of it after the baby, too, so I figured it was worth it. In addition to maternity clothes, Due Maternity also holds seminars and things. I haven't been to any of the others, just the Meet the Doulas, where I found my doula. If you want to splurge a bit on very cute, fashionable clothes or money isn't as much of a consideration, I'd really recommend this place. I only rated it a 3, however, because it is expensive. The sales staff are wonderful though, and everybody loves to talk babies!! For someone who doesn't have a lot of girlfriends here in ATL to gush about baby stuff, it was nice to not feel like I was talking too much about my precious little one.

Beware of ordering anything online because it is a HUGE headache to return. And, they will only issue store credit for SALE ITEMS - not just clearance items, but SALE ITEMS. I purchased an item with my credit card and received a confirmation email. Not ten minutes later, I received an email that my purchase was refunded. It took over 24 hours to reach someone at the store, which does not even have a greeting set up on their voicemail. The woman I finally spoke with told me condescendingly that the item I purchased was a pre-order item and that I should have known to call the store first. She said once my card was refunded I could try again. I asked if she could go ahead and order it now since I needed the item to arrive in time for our anniversary. She said she would check with the manufacturer and get back to me. Never did. Oh, and my card was never refunded. I had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge. Never received an apology from the owner and they never sought to retain my business despite polite attempts to reach them via phone and email. Ended up finding what I was looking for elsewhere as should you!

Also, it's KID TO KID, not NEW STUFF for DIRT CHEAP. This stuff is previously used/worn. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. Don't leave a negative review because the business doesn't operate the way YOU need it to. They operate how THEY planned to. This place is awesome, every time my kids outgrow their clothes, I come in, sell them, and get a whole new wardrobe for the upcoming year.
