My lady and I are big supporters of locally owned businesses. We have visited Kickin Wingz previously, found the food to be average to good, but the service left a lot to be desired. The waitress was friendly, but had too many tables to attend, so service was very slow. Tonight, we decided to give the restaurant another shot. Upon arrival, they were busy, but no wait for seating. I noticed two clean unoccupied booths by the front door. We were greeted by the hostess, at which time I requested to be seated at a booth. The hostess seemed flustered by my request, and promptly walked over to one of the waitresses,(I assume was a supervisor) then returned. She requested we follow her, as she retrieved some menus, and walked us past the vacant booths to a four-top table in the middle of the crowded dining area. She tossed the menus on the table, saying nothing, and walked away. As she passed by me, I reminded her we had requested a booth, and she responded "That's your seat". I pointed to the vacant booths and asked if we could sit at one of them, to which the hostess responded "I seated you there" as she pointed at the four top. At this time the waitress (supervisor) chimes in and stated "we seat by section, sir". It was obvious, no attempt to satisfy my request for a booth we're going to be made. I would normally not fuss with such a trivial matter, but the "shut up and sit down " attitude from the staff was pretty offensive. My wife and I promptly left the restaurant and will never return. Plenty of restaurants in the area, with cordial staff, that would appreciate our patronage. Never would I recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Ordered pulled pork basket, it was dog food on soggy buns. I couldn't eat 1 bite of it, the waitress agreed it was a mess. I told the waitress to please tell the manager to find a new job, I was then told it was the owner. The "owner" never stop at our table to apologize for the crap that came out of his kitchen. I just started going there been there on 5 separate occasions and have ZERO complaints. Wait staff is wicked friendly and funny, our waiter we look for goes by the nickname CHALUPA, yes for real he's awesome. The food is really good, especially for bar food. Wings are a good size & the boneless wings are not over breaded to make them look bigger. The sauce selection is good and combining different ones makes for an adventurous meal. I wish they had more of a dry rub selection but what they have is delicious. Burgers are cooked to order & are seasoned perfectly. Don't want a bun request it in a wrap, still delish!!! read more

Michelle the blonde bartender is the best server I've ever had there, she's clearly a pro. Had the wings, blackened with a mix of Spicy Garlic and Garlic Parmesan as she suggested. IT WAS SENSATIONAL!! I will be back for the wings, it's clearly what they do best. Glad the service improved and they need to offer soups. When I eat out locally I go to Get Hooked, which is the best restaurant for everything in Hudson, including smoked wings. But, it's nice to also find another good wing place in town. read more

TACO TUESDAY REVIEW: uh...owners..heads up! Please take off your menu. The WORST tacos ever. I ordered one chicken and one beef. COLD flour tortillas, BBQ tasting chicken, a tiny bit of bagged shredded lettuce, a sprinkling of red onion and tomato, along with a squirt of sour cream. The beef? Odd metallic tasting hamburger meat along with the pathetic lettuce etc... I had to ask for salsa. They were AWFUL, and I returned them.. Also ordered fried mushrooms.. a huge pile of fried , (mostly stems and pieces) very dark fry..meaning the oil needs to be changed! The best thing about my lunch was the chardonnay..only one is the house brand..DONT know what vineyard..a $4 decent pour. At least it was the RIGHT temp.,..cold. Stay away from the TACOS! I've been to this establishment 6-7 times. With each visit, I learn more. I order the same thing every time.. 10 wings Asianman and Wild sauce, well done and wet, to go. Every time I pick up my order at the bar (I have taken notice, they are different bartenders) I am NEVER acknowledged. I literally have to waive the bartender down, even when the bar isn't busy. I always have to ask for EXTRA blue cheese, as the ONE 2 oz cup for 10 wings will just never be enough. After several visits, I have decided today that I will not return. The visit before today, I asked for EXTRA, EXTRA (really?) blue cheese, she gave me 4 and charged me FIVE BUCKS.. Are you shittin me? I can buy a bottle and a half of blue cheese at Publix for that. Its just the principal. I gave the place a rest for a few months.. I return today, to give it another try.. and same situation.. A mission and half an arm for an appropriate amount of blue cheese.. no thanks. They were charging me $15.00 for something that was $10.00. Really?? And it was the owner that placed my order! I have spoken with him in the past and he was very very nice. I did continually return there because of the sauce selection for the wings, and I felt the wings were pretty good. Visiting from Michigan and heard from the locals about this sports bar and I was totally blown away from the experience. Got seated very quickly and got a server to our table within minutes. Loved how there was a lot of TVs all around and seemed like everybody fit in. Food didn't take long at all and tasted amazing. Will for sure come back here if I am back in this area again! read more

The waitress was good and everything seemed to be homemade and fresh. They had my favorite dry Cajun rub so I was happy. Many types of draft beer but the pint glasses are plastic YUCK must be a rough joint after dark. Called to pick up. Rude staff. We live in Spring Hill. Called as I was walking out the door to put in an order for pick up. Immediately got put on hold after I said, "Hi can I place an order for pick up?" By the time they took me off hold I was already in the parking lot. You were being rude the whole time and I was just trying to be nice but okay. When we walked into pick it up they said my name wrong, Jayleena instead of shenila. My boyfriend said, "No it's Shenila," so they wouldn't think we were picking up the wrong order. She proceeded to mispronounce and call out, "Jayleena." Two more times as if we weren't there to pick up the order. Rolled her eyes when he said it was his order. If you ask for your sauce on the side they only give you one halfway filled 2oz container. My boyfriend went inside and asked for more honey mustard. Took 7 minutes. She brought out ranch. He said, "No I asked for honey mustard." She sighed and once again, rolled her eyes at him. We tried a fry in the car, already soggy. The boneless wings aren't even like boneless wings or tenders. They look like cubed up chicken breast meat. They said give us 15 minutes. It took 25. The inside of the place was messy. Honestly not worth the time or money to be treated rudely, wait overtime for your stuff and get cubed chicken breast and soggy fries. Chill, go somewhere else. We recently had an event at Kickin Wingz and to say that I was impressed would be a HUGE understatement. It was a dinner after my dad's funeral so emotions were quite high. Donnie was not only accommodating, he was unbelievably kind, professional and sincere. He met our short time frame with a private room and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed including tailoring the menu to meet our needs. Additionally, Aaron (not sure on spelling) provided outstanding service and made sure everything went well. Their flexibility, service and kindness exceeded our expectations and made a difficult situation as nice as it could be. With all of that said the food was even better. Everything is made in house and was way better than we expected. They provided wings (of course) pizza, salad and an unbelievable potato salad (best I have had). Additionally, they had carry out containers ready to go on the table for us to take the leftovers. I need to reiterate that everything is home made which to me was very surprising and delicious. I cannot thank the team at Kickin Wingz enough as they made everything simple, efficient and organized. And to the bartender, thank you for the Extra Large Shot of tequila :-). Absolute Trash. Ive given this place so many chances but I absolutely will never be a patron of Kickin Wingz again. Over cooked Wings, under cooked fired. Tonight I ordered food at 8:00PM and was told 30-45mins. I call them at 9:30 to see why I didn't get my delivery and the Hostess tells me its about to be out the door. I ask to cancel my order and she immediately hangs up on me. Call back to ask to talk to the manager and she says he is "busy" cooking food because they are under staffed and will call me back later. The staff is completely unreliable. My cousin Alex Williams briefly worked as Dishwasher here and enlightened us with wonderful story about one of the Waiters changing the Tip and Total amount of their check. Been always ordering the same food from them since forever, i am a very understanding person , if they are busy i get it, if they short of personal i get it too. But every single time i order my usual it is wrong. Telling them specifically what i do want and what i dont want. They keep doing it the way they want. We came in what was their wing night, maybe not the best day to come in. The host let us know the wait would be 10 to 15 minutes. He was hustling and trying to make sure people got seated as quickly as possible at available tables. After about 20 minutes we were able to get seated. The table next to us was a six top getting ready to leave and asking for the check. The two tables in front of us are a four top and the other is six top. They are finishing with the six top asking for containers to take home. The six top to the right of us pays their check and leaves. The six top in front of us has received their containers are continuing to pack up. The waitress comes over picks up the check at the six top that has just left and turns away from us so she does not have to acknowledge us and walks away. Now the six top in front of us gets up and leaves. The table to the right has now been bussed and is cleared, ready for new customers. The four top in front of us as well as the six are getting up ready to leave. The only reason why I say this is to show how long it took to NOT get service. No hello, be with you in a minute , NOTHING! How good are their wings? We will never know! We got up and left. The host asked why ? I said you know how long we've been here. you are 0 for 2. And walked out. 2 visits and 2 bad experiences. I really wanted them to succeed because I had to try and convince my wife to go here that night. She did not want to go after our last visit that was so poor but was quite a bit of time ago. So I was able to convince her to try again. It is their loss because so many people compete for those consumer dollars every day. Keep this up and there will be plenty of tables available all the time.
