My First time here with family. Sis and bro in law have been here. The blackened chicken sandwich and the Philly cheese steak were very good. Very nice. Good food, packed out on a Wednesday evening, a few families in the booths with small children but a varied crowd overall m. There was an electronic jukebox playing; it was a bit loud to talk to my friend but at least it was a nice atmosphere. I had the boneless unlimited basket with Asianman sauce, my friend had the Cajun wings. I was only made aware of KW because they have a monthly "JEEP Night" that I saw on Facebook. We had a quiet Saturday with no plans so we went down to check it out. I got to meet up with a few Jeep people in the parking lot; however, I was informed that the crowd was a little light because it was happening at the same time as "Jeepin' With Judd" which is a HUGE event over in Bartow, FL. Regardless, I made a few new friends and went inside to have some dinner. The wings are fantastic. Easily one of the top 2 wings I've ever had (competing with a BBQ place at Atlantis in the Bahamas). I got the garlic parm wings which were not too heavily breaded (unlike Hooters) and had a little crispy texture to them (exactly how I like it). I tried the onion rings (which were big and crunchy, also a plus) and a few of my son's fries (seasoned) and it was phenomenal. How did I miss this place? Well, I owe it all to my Jeep. We had some leftovers and if you want to know how good the wings are, my wife ate them for breakfast so I wouldn't get them at lunch time. She bogarted the leftovers!!! We will definitely be back for the next Jeep night. And if you have the chance, make sure you sit in Moses's section. I had a salad which was fresh. Had the Chipotle BBQ wings which had just enough of a little chick and sweet BBQ flavor . I requested extra crispy . The wings were smaller than other places, but were very good . I also had the teriyaki wings extra crispy, they were great ! If you want terrible food, this is the place for you! Absolutely no quality control. To start, me and my fiancé asked for sweet tea and after waiting 20 minutes we got the most disgusting "syrupy", sugar filled tea. After a quick bicker with the "manager" about "This is how we make our tea", an employee walkes past us and adds "We accidently made it woth cold watter". For my plate, i asked for a double burger, medium well, but instead got a medium rare, and a rare patty. I took the burger to the "manager" who utterly dissagreed, and said the patties look the exact same based on "They put the meats down at the same time, they look the same to me!" then got told to "Go eat your food, its already paid for". Kickin Wingz is the ABSOLUTE WORST! We wanted to make this our go to Sunday lunch, but they are LIARS and WORTHLESS. We sat waiting for 90 minutes to pay our bill after a fuse blew at their restaurant. Don't worry though, they lied to us and told us that it's Duke's fault and there's a power outage. We spent most of that time with dirty plates in front of us. The owner showed up and offered us 10% off. I told him that wasn't acceptable. We had three kids with us with no A/C and no usable bathroom. His response? "What would you have me do? I don't control the power." When I replied, "I would actually take care of my customers," he walked away. Clearly the OWNER IS HORRIBLE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. Oh, and what's more? The power started mysteriously working when the owner showed up. What a coincidence. Avoid this place. They just want your money. I'm so glad I spent my time there and they cut $11 from our check for all of this. What a phony. I checked Duke Energy's outage map to verify the owner's claim. Apparently Kickin, close to Little and 52, is part of the outage, but the outage actually covers 1000 affected close to Jasmine and Little. According to the owner, though, his restaurant is part of a 5000 person outage. What a joke. The owner clearly not only thinks his patrons are walking wallets and not worth his time, but are stupid. I wish I could post this to their Facebook page as a review, but they disabled that. Wonder why? I hope that $96 helps the owner sleep at night. read more

There has been some serious consistency issues as of late, but even our worst meals have been delicious. My only disappointment is some days their hottest sauce is barely a notch above buffalo in heat, but most days it's extremely hot and just barely survivable. For a bit, they would forget my salad entirely when ordering the 6 wing basket, but the last two orders they included the salad along with the fries the salad intended to sub - an "improvement" but would really like to see these issues fixed, as most of the fries end up uneaten and are the kind that don't work as leftovers especially with how delicious they are fresh. I wasn't a fan of the pizza, the sauce reminds me of school pizza sauce, but the crust is great and the kids love it so we still get it from time to time. read more

Both times, the chicken was woefully overcooked; dry, stringy, chewy, and approaching warm--way below proper serving temperature. I left my plate full of these rock hard nuggets. (Don't expect boneless chicken wings in the style of House of Wings, or Hooters, or Buffalo Wild Wings; these are small pieces, chunks of tough chicken.) Our waitress had no conception of timing. Four times (four!) prior to trying to chisel away what might have been a palatable, miniscule morsel, she wanted to know if I wanted more. Too bad she didn't ask how the rolling stones were. The booth had small pieces of debris, as did the floor, both of which made me shudder to think about the kitchen; if they can't keep tables and seats clean.... I don't know why they think putting parsley in cheese curds is necessary but ok. Also the waitress asked if ranch was okay, I asked for BBQ sauce instead. She never mentioned that I would be charged an extra $1 for sauce. But okay. Pictured on the menu are boneless wings that look similar to any other boneless wings spot. Usually like Kickin Wingz but this last order was not good. The wings were fine. I got the Taco Salad and it was laughable. There was a small pile of meat with a like 3 diced tomatoes, I think 2 sliced peppers and I had to did to find lettuce. this tiny small amount of lettuce ( like a tablespoon ). It was in the HUGE taco shell. It was very funny. Could have saved 10 dollars and went to Taco Bell. read more

I also tried the gator which just tasted fishy and was pretty chewy, but that was only my second time having gator so maybe it's just my own personal taste. How disappointing. First, we were sitting for 15 minutes and had to flag a waitress down to order our drinks and food. Took another 10-15 minutes to get our a simple draft beer. They never bothered to tell us the bathroom had been out of order for over 3 hours. I went to go to the bathroom and was told they would be fixed in 5 minutes. 40 minutes later still not fixed.
