I was so excited to come here tonight but left disappointed not only with the food but customer service. We got crab cakes that came out burnt, the Cajun pasta that tasted like the aftertaste of barf. It was nasty and smelled even worse. I mentioned to management that I didn't like it and while they did ask if I wanted something else, i did not feel like waiting 20 minutes for new food while everyone else was done eating. I went here for dinner and ordered a steak to be cooked medium well. It came back medium rare. The order was for my pregnant wife. We returned it to get it cooked to medium well. It came back relatively quickly and I was happy for that until my wife and I noticed it was still medium rare inside and just burnt looking on the outside. The waitress saw it both times and agreed it was medium rare. I would recommend their shrimp and pasta. Their wings are ok. I haven't tried their newest ones though. I would not order the meat ever again considering the meat was thin and the cook couldn't figure out how to make it medium well. The drafts are good and they have decent happy hour prices. I have been to Kickback Jack's a couple of time and the wings are really good. However, the customer service driven by the Manager is horrible! Be aware alcoholic beverages are are very weak and inconsistent. They do not try fix the drinks or replace, per management. The menu is not reflective of the true discripition of the ingredients they substitute per the Manager - Thomas. We paid $9 for punch. Food: The Kitchen mixed up the order twice. The Manager, Thomas came to the table twice and explained to us about the mixup, but did not compensate us on the bill or offer is anything as a result of his staff's mistakes. He even said they had to take the wrong wings back to the kitchen and we could not keep them. We waited 50 minutes for a table and 30 minutes for the first round of food to be served. We waited 45 minutes for wings after they delivered the wrong wings the 2nd time. Thomas should not be in a customer service environment that is not his strength, he is not customer friendly nor accommodating. My recommendation is don't avoid Kickback Jack and go to cowboys jack! I went to Kickback Jack's for the 2nd time. The new one in Fredericksburg at Southpointe. Its store #51. Its awesome. The atmosphere was fantastic. But what my made score was a combination of things. My bartenders were Sierra and Taylor. Both were fantastic. They might be the best bartender tag team in Fredericksburg! The food was great, but when you have two awesome bartenders it made everything better. It just might put Buffalo Wild Wings down a couple of notches. I will be back for sure! read more

We decided to judge the food off of a simple order of grilled wings with sauces on the side...if you have good wings, that's a strong start. They were excellent! Piping hot, meaty & had a nice char. Nachos were loaded but not soggy. The drinks in the buckets are cute & a lot for a fair price, my sangria was yummy (there are plenty of drink specials ) . My kid's chicken tenders were brought out first, which any parent appreciates. The tenders weren't dry, unlike so many other chains, and the fries were SEASONED *gasp*. Our waitress, Dominic (sp?) , was extremely attentive & personable. Plus she remembered all of our sauce requests & gave us suggestions on what is popular. If you ever had "bang-bang" shrimp and liked it, then firecracker shrimp is sure to disappoint, although the portion was a hefty one. Pizza's - they are tavern style say like B.J.s. These were just OK we had the carnivore and pepperoni. Tell ya, better cold the next day - meaning that they were 't appetizing enough to eat in one sitting. Won't be trying them again. This past month life had been pretty intense with deaths in our family and lots of life changes. My husband took me out for a date night we hadn't had one in almost two years so we decided on Kickback Jack's. I had never been there and well I will never go back. It started off nice greeted with a nice server she took our drink order and those came some what timely it was around 7:30 PM so it was a comfortable crowd. Drinks come about 7:45ish and our server left to attend to others we thought okay she will come back and taken order about 20 mins later I think she must have realized she never asked us what we wanted to order and came back at 8:20 we ordered 15 mins later it comes out it was just a burger and fries my husband got some turkey wrap thing with fries my burger apparently identified as a chicken. 10 mins later she comes back to ask how everything is I asked why it was chicken not what I had ordered she said it was the kitchens fault and so excuses and excuses and blaming began I really was polite and kind about but just wanted to leave at this point it was close to 9 I just wanted to go home. It was really such a disappointment we truly never get to have date night though we tried to find the humor in it all and kept a smile never ugly or disrespectful to the staff but just a realization that no one cares about quality just quantity. Will NOT suggest this place would have gotten why better food and service from the Chic FIL A or Wendy's down the road and to top it off the Premium Margarita just disgusting. So, they sat us in the smoking section (who knew there could be a smoking section!???) In all fairness it was outside but they should have given us a choice!!! We didn't realize until a herd of smokers came out and we were literally surrounded by smoke. I placed a To-Go order this evening at the Fredericksburg, VA location and am very disappointed. The online ordering site is not accurate, and our three separate orders of wings did not come with sauce. When I called to ask if I could come pick up sides of sauce (that clearly didn't come with the order yet each was selected) I was charged for the sauces. When I tried to explain to the server who brought the sauces out, she said she didn't know anything about the online website. Very poor quality of food and service! I arrived at Kickback Jacks in Fredericksburg around 1PM and there were only about ten customers in the place. The waiter came up I told him what I wanted to drink and eat. Unsweet ice tea and a hamburger with onions and mustard. Ten minutes went by but still no drink. I saw other people come in and get their drinks right away. I tried to waive down the waiter, but he rather clean a table across the way. Another ten minutes later still no drink or food. The other customers were already eating. I thought about leaving. At 1:35PM I finally got the waiter's attention. I ask if he forgot my drink, and what about my food. He said he was sorry and having a really bad day. I asked if he put in my order. He said in a condescending voice that my food was in the oven! He wrote down my order at 1PM but couldn't remember what it was. The ice tea he brought me in a large cup had no ice in it. The hamburger was very dry. Like it had been cooked frozen in a microwave. There were no onions nor mustard. The French fries were soaked in grease and seemed to be warmed in the same microwave. Very poor quality of food and service! I was getting ready to pay the bill and asked for a to-go cup. I poured my left over tea in the very small cup and before I could fill out the check the cup started leaking from the bottom. I went to the manager and explain what had happened. He got me another cup of tea and processed my check. No apology, no discount, nothing! I filled out the check ($14.15) with no tip. This is the second time I've had bad service at Kickback Jacks! The first time was on a Friday night and they had the bartender as my server. You'll get ignored when that happens. Don't know what it is about this place. Maybe they just don't like old men coming in there.
