Thank you to Kibbie's--and especially to the female employee with the braided hair who ignored me at the walk-up window yesterday. You've officially cured me of my addiction to grossly overpriced shaved ice.
Yesterday, I stood at the walk-up window while there was only one other customer in the drive-thru. Three employees were inside, yet no one acknowledged me. After waiting for several minutes, I gently tapped on the window to let them know I was there--even though they had clearly already seen me.
The employee with the braided hair, who was wiping down bottles of flavoring, turned, stared at me with an irritated look, then deliberately turned her back and continued cleaning the bottles. Apparently, wiping down flavoring bottles was more important than even acknowledging a customer standing at the window.
Kibbie's, if your goal was to hire someone who drives away loyal customers, then congratulations--you've succeeded.
My family and I won't be spending another dollar on your overpriced flavored ice. In the long run, your employee probably saved us hundreds of dollars.
So, thank you, Kibbie's... and thank you to your incredibly rude employee. read more
