Ample seating arrangements, service was kind of slow but courteous the Butter Chicken was amazing while the Tandoori Chicken Wings were underwhelming. Would recommend this establishment.

Chicken Tikka Masala

This was the best meal we had while in London! British pub food is just ok, so if you want a great meal go find an Indian restaurant! We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, which was super delicious especially with the Garlic Naan! We had an order of this ground lamb dish that came on a sizzling plate, that was also fantastic. We also ordered this amazing rice dish that has meat in it. It was beautifully spiced and absolutely delicious (I am craving it right now)! The Mango Lassi went perfectly with the meal. The servers are nice and the food comes out quickly.

The curry, sheek kebab, Tandoori chicken, garlic nan and pilau rice for the table! All excellent choices with great flavor. Quick and efficient service. If I'm ever back in London, I'll be back.

great curry.... got nuts!

You know what! have them... have them all. Yes 5 stars! because.... plenty of space inside, quick service, not fancy, not trying to be something it's not, it's a tad dark and fu!k me it's dated from inside but the food is great... from the curry to biryani, to the lassi to the parathas. FYI no alcohol and you WILL stink for the rest of the day! I PROMISE! See pics :)

Supposed to be tikka masala!

The only good thing is the cola here. Tikka masala is under cooked. Lamb in the biryani is very difficult to cut or eat. It was fibrous and elastic!

Khans Indian restaurant in Westbourne Grove is quite an eccentric place. The restaurant is spread across one quite large room with a bar at the right hand side. The whole restaurant has a slightly kitsch Indian theme which means pretend palm tree pillars, and a faux rattan pagodas mixed with well done desert scape and traditional scene murals on the walls. The overall effect is like the dining room of a pretend Indian palace at a dated theme park. The food is a range of Indian standards. I went with a friend and we both had a thali and a lassi, which were both well done and very good value. A charmingly decorated restaurant the serves inexpensive, well done Indian culinary standards.

Very long wait for sub par food. My husband and I waited an absurdly long time for our orders while others around us received their food in a timely fashion. They are only getting 2 stars because the experience initially started off good with drinks and appetizers, but after that we never saw our server again...LITERALLY. It was as though our server left shortly after taking our order and no one was ever identified to replace him in taking care of our table.

This place hasn't changed much in many years, and that's a good thing. Good food, not great. Overall pleasant experience.

Every time I visit London, a visit to Khan's is simply a must. The best Indian restaurant I have been to.

If you ask most people what they want in life, they list a bunch of shit like world peace,…read more brilliant children, perfect health for everyone they know, etc. I think I'd like an ever-present Indian takeaway joint nearby. Always. And not a place you have to order and wait for an hour. A place that anticipated your needs and has everything on the ready. I could then die a happy man. At the very least, I'd be a well-spiced man. Regrets? I'd have naan. This place almost delivers on that promise. Almost. They have vats of ready made food. Entrees like curries. Different rice options. Breads. The chef is a big man with a big, friendly demeanor. I went with a bowl of curried lamb, medium heat, and some naan to soak it up. The dish was decent, not really hot in terms of spiciness, but tender and rightly sized for the price. But really, it was something like a fiver for a meal. Is is the best Indian food in London? Heck no. Is it the best, no frills Indian on this particular stretch of road for the immediate area ? Heck yeah. I just wish there was one of these on every corner in my life. Lotto?

Fresh off a nap after flying into London from Los Angeles, we ventured north on foot in search of…read morefood. We made it as far as Kilburn before we decided we had to pick a place and eat now! We walked by The Asian Restaurant & Sweet Center and looked in the window. SOLD! Lots of good food was staring back at us. It was simply a matter of picking what we wanted. The slightly brusque gentlemen behind the counter wouldn't give us a recommendation, so we went with our standbys: chickpea curry and lamb curry. The result: WIN! Both were great. The naan we got with it was delicious. A number of locals stopped by and friendly greetings were exchanged between the man behind the counter and the customers. Even though it's a hole in the wall with no decorations, the atmosphere was friendly. We watched the Egyptian revolution unfold on Sky TV as we ate. Upon paying on the way out, the counter man decided we were okay and we got the same treatment as the other regular customers. All is well! If you're in the neighborhood, I can't imagine not stopping her for some fast, delicious fortifications.

They have done an impressive job on the remodel updating it with a bright and clean interior tastefully decorated and well equipped. Two large screen TV's play Bollywood music videos and sporting events. When you enter there is a small kebab shop and takeaway, and you enter through the second set of doors to the dining room. The food is amazing! A dazzling array of choices and some special items. We ordered Karahi Fish, Karahi Methi Gosht, Tarka Daal and a whole tandoori chicken. This was more than enough food for four and we were all very happy to try so many tasty items. First the fish was perfectly prepared and delicately spiced. It had a great texture and wasn't "swimming" in sauce. The lamb curry was ordered spicy and the chef actually came to ask us how spicy we actually wanted it, so we explained EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA hot.. he laughed and asked if we were sure and we said we were. He delivered! It was a spicy inferno without being overpowering. The daal was very nice but the highlight was the Tandoori chicken.. it was the most flavorful one we had tried in a long time and came out perfectly moist and juicy and oozing with flavour, and at 7 quid it was quite a deal as well. We also noted on the menu the chefs special.. a WHOLE LEG OF LAMB! We vowed a night of hedonism and drinking accompanied by a lamb feast. We followed through the following week and we were rewarded for our determination with a stunning piece of culinary magic. The leg of lamb was so tender and flavourful that we decided to make it a monthly ritual.. but be forewarned you have to order it 24 hours in advance.. so think ahead! The Lahore Masala House is a welcome addition to the Kentish Town landscape.. they have great lunch deals and they also stay up late for those leaving the locals or the Forum.
