KGA did a good job, quickly. Both were easy to work with. Shed, from floor to shingles was completed in just over a day & a half. They kept site clean during the day & left with everything tidy & put away. UPDATED 06/27/25... heat has slowed down my progress, but, cleaning construction sawdust/screws getting ready to start moving stuff in. Many nails didn't quite make it to their "best" location... meaning, they were "shot" incorrectly & are sticking out at odd angles. Overall, they got me further than I was before they did the work I felt the price was fair and after seeing their work, decided to have them paint the shed (I was planning on doing it, but, heat & age, I knew it would take me much longer to get done.) They are painting as I write the review. (06/27/25 update Have reinstalled hasp latch correctly - but, it appears they tried to bend to work with their lack of knowledge as to how hasp locks work... installed correctly, screws are not accessible.... Needed to buy new hasp lock. Their installation had all screws easily accessible, meaning putting a lock on door was a waste of time. I WAS so impressed & pleased with their work, I'm have him bid on completing a pool to deck conversion. Apparently, he didn't want to work with my choice, so, nothing more was said. I recommend KGA for your projects, with your supervision to make sure you are getting what you want.. Painting is done. Have several areas to touch up. read more

Working with KGA Construction was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. They installed patio coverings (pergolas) for us that not only look fantastic & modern, but also provide the perfect amount of privacy (which is what we really wanted). The finished product is better than we could've hoped for, and everything was finished on time and within budget. We couldn't be happier with the result and highly recommend them for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space! Attached are pictures (these don't even do the finished product justice... we truly love the finished product). read more

Gennadiy was an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired KGA to construct an awning and small deck for our backyard project and it turned out better than we ever imagined. KGA came out and gave a free consultation. He spent over an hour talking to us about our dream backyard and all of the design options. We really appreciated the attention to detail he gave. He even brought samples of each type of deck for us to choose from. When the day came, he brought his team and completed the deck and awning install with care and efficiency. He communicated with us the whole way through and left the worksite cleaner than when he arrived. If you need any deck or awning work - this is your guy! read more

KGA Construction, is absolutely amazing.  The craftsmanship that Gennadiy put into our project, was noticable right from the beginning.  To start, Gennadiy did a walk through and design discussion with us and spent over an hour brainstorming the project. He had not even won the bid at this point, but was willing to give his time and detail to the thoroughness of the project. Really, this was the reason we chose KGA Construction over anyone else. Once the project started, it was clear we made the best decision. Gennadiy was extremely methodical in every stage of his work, and the finished project really showed.  We had KGA build a stand alone patio with a custom privacy wall, that just brings the backyard to life. At first sight, family and friends, notice the upgrades and quality over other patios. There is not another company I would call in the future for construction or outdoor patio work. read more

We bought an older house that didn't have any bathroom fans, so I suffered for a few month, and was burning a lot of candles, but with the weather heating up I decided to hire a contractor to install bathroom fans. I had some quotes from people who said "I only can do fans, but not attach it to the roof", so it's like-what's the point? Gena said that he will do a complete job, and he finished everything in 4-5 hrs (2 bathroom fans in 2 bathrooms), took pictures of how he installed a vent pipe on the roof. Fans work very nice! I'm a satisfied customer! read more

KGA finished a redwood walk way for me last week. The estimate was reasonable. Their start date was about 3 weeks out and they showed up 3 days early after calling to confirm the new start date would be alright. They told me it would take 3 days and it took 3 days. They did very nice work which was confirmed by another contractor I had come over to look at another project. Very happy to give them 5 stars. They told me what they were going to do and did it. Cleaned up the mess from construction. Very pleased with their work. read more

Gennadiy and crew built our deck in 1/10th the time it would have taken me to do it, and the end result was perfection. He went through the decking planks and any of the boards that had any imperfections were put aside and replaced. He drove all over town looking for new material to replace these boards, which no one else would have done. The seams line up perfectly, and he approached this project like it was his own backyard. I cannot recommend KGA/Gennadiy enough, he is a good person who does what he says he will do. Pricing was very competitive. read more

I requested 3" insulated 14'x24' patio cover and KGA delivered. I also requested that it be wired so that one switch control the ceiling fan lights and the second switch is to control the fans and they were able to make it happen. We had Gennadiy come out and install a patio cover for us recently and he was a pleasure to work with. We ended up doing a full demo of our existing concrete and had a company come out and lay pavers first. He coordinated with the paver company and came out before they broke ground to sync up his requirements on the posts for the patio cover and then came back after the pavers were done to install the cover. He was accommodating and worked with us on our selection of ceiling fan and the post column we wanted him to build for us. I would not hesitate to use him again for any services he provides. read more

We called around to several companies to get an extension to our existing covered patio we got installed last year... Did not even get a response from most of them Including the company which did the first job. Gennadiy on the other hand was quick to respond and we started from there. A quick ph call to set a free estimate and he worked with me to accommodate a timeframe I was available. After the Free estimate, we signed the contract and he got the patio extension installed within 3 weeks (the demand for material was really high thus the little wait... not because of Gennadiy). He did a splendid job not only with the covered patio installation which matched up exactly like the old one but he also did some electrical work. He takes pride in his work and is really detailed oriented and it shows in his projects. I have already gotten him another job at my in laws and that shows that I trust his work. Thank you Gennadiy read more

Gennadiy was very professional, worked fast did a great job on a pergola, #62 on photo gallery. Will recommend to others .

I highly recommend KGA Construction! Gennadiy installed a patio cover in our home in Curtis Park this week. We have a beautiful yard and wanted the patio cover to serve both an aesthetic and practical function. It exceeded our expectations. He did everything well: 1. Performed the work agreed on. 2. When issues arose he explained options and costs simply. 3. Made great recommendations that enhanced the project. 4. Showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. I wish all my interactions with contractors were this positive. read more

KGA did two projects for me and I'm very happy with both. They replaced and painted some siding on the back of my house and then installed a prefabricated patio cover. I got multiple estimates for both projects and KGA gave me the best quotes by far. The siding looks great and as does the patio cover! I will them again if I have more projects in the future. read more

Gennadiy and his team did a great job in building our new deck and trellis. Their attention to detail is excellent and they demonstrated a great level of accuracy and craftsmanship. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a similar type of project constructed. read more

Had them do 2 deck rebuilds - 1 small one attached to upstairs master, and demo one that was downhill and rebuild that level with the pool and "yard" as a kind of yard extension. They were reliable, easy to deal with, and did a great job. Even my wife is impressed and now loves the deck, and she complains about everything (including complaining about this deck right up until she saw it actually completed). We're doing a full house remodel and hope they can do as much of it as possible. read more
