Food was good but customer service by LUNA was over the top!!!! Way to represent what a great employee should do.. it took a bit longer but she was the ONLY EMPLOYEE on staff, and she stayed instead of closing and she kicked ass and took orders, took money and cooked food for 3 cars full of ppl in line at the drive through. First off as i walked in i was ignored. The first staff to greet me after being aware i was at the counter said something like its not my drawer or something indicating they noticed me but couldnt take my order. Another person was not too far behind and after an.exchange of civilities " good evening weI come to kfc" they asked what i was having? I had ample time to read the menu and had selected a " famous bowl" To which i was told they only had mac and cheese as a side. I thought the bowls were all together .and had wanted some mashed potatoes, which they didnt have and were njt willing to make. Instead i ordered some chicken strips. They only had two. I said id wait while they made some more, but they told me itd be awhile.. I asked how long if awhile? No reply.. May u use your restroom? No reply, i left after wondering what they actually sell there. Im glad i was ignored and have not returned since. I'm sorry but this visit to KFC was pretty terrible. The employees were extremely rude and we had an extremely terrible time trying to order. We waited over 20 minutes in line and when we finally ordered it took over 10 minutes. They were out of everything it seemed like and when we finally got our order we thought we had everything but we were missing a chicken sandwich combo, the chicken was extremely salty, and most of the food seemed slapped together half-ass. I placed online order at 2:30 for 4:00 pickup. Got there at 4, the kid said oh, yeh i need to do that. Then he told me they didn't have any pot pies. I asked if i could get my money back, he asked his manager and she said how long on potpies? A guy in the back said 6 mins. You know know, for the pies they "didn't have". I said fine, pointing out i had placed my order 90 mins before. The manager said yes we saw it. Yet they weren't ready?? The kid didn't appreciate my pointing that out and has been in the back yelling and dropping f-bombs. So unprofessional. No updates were given on when my order would be ready, finally done at 4:15. Completely forgot my Classic Chicken combo and we had asked for no wings no drumsticks. If I could give it zero stars I would. I stopped by tonight with my husband and the place was extremely dirty, the tables hadn't been cleaned even though the restaurant was empty. We ordered the food and although we got it quickly, it was the worst food we have ever received. It looked like pieces of left over chicken. I took the food back to the register and complained and the girl who cooked it said it was about 2 hours old but it clearly looked like it had been reheated multiple times. I asked for new food and she said it would take at least an hour for it to cook. I then told the manager that I would like a refund and she seemed annoyed to have to refund me the money. I told her that their food was disgusting and that she needed to return my money because there was no way we were going to eat that. I ordered the original recipe and received crispy. I got all the way home to discover the error. I called and spoke with the "manager" who was unprofessional. I believe This person, (insert preferred pronoun here) was not a manager. This very same person said it was impossible as they ran out of crispy chicken an hour ago as to say that my claim was a lie. I am very well aware of the difference between original & crispy chicken. Well, the chicken in my possession is as crispy as you can get. Said person never offered to make it right or offer to redo the order either. They also said to remove the outer coating if it was too crispy. OH, my mistake I wanted the bland a$$ chicken! Isn't it one of the reasons we all go to KFC for the flavor? Often I find they are even out of the one item that is their namesake, THE CHICKEN! The long black haired guy working tonight complained and then got my order wrong after taking it four times for clarification. If kfc wants to charge restaurant prices it should get orders correct. The KFC here in Yreka is sub-par, even for KFC. The restaurant was extremely unclean every time I've been in there (as of now). I went to the drive thru, had only two cars ahead of me. I waited 45 minutes to get my food. The guy behind me finally gave up and pulled out without his food. The employees were dressed like homeless people, filthy, sloppy, tattooed, nasty! The kitchen had crap spilled all over the floor it was a filthy looking mess. There were maybe 2 cars in the parking lot and 1 car in the drive-thru. It took about 10 minutes for the car to give it's order. When I arrived at the speaker I asked for an 8 piece chicken only. I was repeatedly asked "what number is that"...Well, there is no number which they finally accepted. Then, I sat in line behind the car in front for 25 minutes! Finally I had enough and got out of line. How much trouble would it have been to have a worker come out and let customers know what was going on? Last time through drive through we only went because I had tonsillitis and it was the only place to get something soft (mashed potatoes). This place was the dirtiest place I have ever seen. The bathroom was so dirty I could see it on the walls. The toilet paper was completely out in both bathrooms. The sink, floor, mirror and walls were all VERY dirty. I asked for BBQ and didn't get ANY sauce. The chicken tenders were so dry and cold I couldn't even chew them. GROSS!!! I was on the phone outside as my husband went in to order. I realized I didn't have a pen in my purse and I needed to write something down. So, I walked in, saw that there was NO LINE! My husband was ordering. I interrupted as nicely as I could. He had a continuous smile from speaking to my husband to me interrupting them. He was really nice! - After, a manager I believe, came over and was really nice when she asked if our dog had service tags or not. And, surely we did. So we showed it to her. She continued to smile and was very nice. - I don't remember names. I believe the cash register person, whom let me borrow a pen, was taller than me (I'm 5'7), African American (I believe) with glasses and the manager lady I think was a blond. Sorry don't remember names but if the rest of the staff is as nice and friendly, then I would definitely recommend this place to EVERYONE!! The chicken was very tasty and actually pretty juicy compared to the few KFCs I went to in San Francisco. The mash potatoes and gravy was okay. The Mac & Cheese is great! As for the biscuits they were not that dry and they put butter & honey in the bag too! Yay! - I think both of the 2 we went to, you had to request it. Stopped in on way home from Oregon. Made it a point to go to this KFC since the one in Mt Shasta is trash,and thete are none in the Redding area. This KFC one is no better than the one in Mt Shasta. Ordered 12 piece tenders meal. Drive thru didnt know his ass from a hole in the ground. He told me they weren't doing those anymore. I told him it was on the menu and they were doing it.
