Literally closed the drive thru early after I sat there for 20 minutes because their line was backed up from probably twiddling their thumbs in the back. The guy came out of the back waving at us to leave, how ignorant, and disgusting service Carl's Jr. if I look online and it says (example: 5am-8pm) be open until 8pm or add on your website you guys close at 7:40. We were met with a sassy attitude right off the bat. One of the employees was smoking right outside the front door. When I asked for a bacon burger I was told "we don't have that" in a very condescending tone and when I finally got my order it wasn't even right... I asked for no onions and it came with onions. Yikes, this Carl's jr stop on our road trip was not great! Although there were only several cars in line in for the drive through it took FOREVER to get our food. I also saw none of the employees wearing masks and/or wearing them incorrectly. My burger was also horribly prepared. It arrived a complete mess falling apart in the bag, the cheese wasn't melted, and it was covered in mayo. The bathrooms inside were nicely kept so I guess there's that. Utterly disappointing, came here for lunch during work one day and usually they never get my order wrong but this time, it seems like whoever read my order and made it can't clearly read that I specified nothing on my sandwich and threw in "rabbit food". Didn't find out till I got back to the worksite 50 miles away that it was screwed up,didn't check because my previous orders came out just fine. The mayonnaise ruined it, I even tried to salvage it but theres no getting that much horrid mayonnaise off the buns. Got the 4$ real deal and it was pretty bomb. The cashier wqs tending the drive through and the lobby at the same time. She was nice and apologized for having us wait a lil bit. If you go through the drive thru your voice while ordering will be heard throughout the lobby. The lobbys ketchup area needed a wipe down because it had crumbs and people's oily hand print marks over it. The food was quite good. The chicken sandwich in the meal was one of the better ones in terms of fast food. The double cheese burger in the meal was good as well as i could hear the sizzling of the pattys on the grill and not the sound of a microwave ping. The fries also looked to be put in the fryer specially made for our orders unlike other fast food places that have them sitting for whatever time they allow too. Don't go to this Carl's Jr.! This is an absolute dive! Most of the employees are on drugs, the younger guy running the fryer wasn't using the tongs, he was grabbing the fried food with just his gloves on. This is a shame, as we love Carl's Jr. Never had any issues like this before. We were there over 45mins just waiting for our food. They ran out of ice cream and the food was really gross, upset all of our stomachs. Stopped there this afternoon and was served a cold burger, had gotten on the freeway not a minute later. The burger patty was as cold or slightly warmer than the chilled tomato on the burger. I called the store and talked with Regina. No one greeted us and it took forever to get waited on. Like 5 people just wandering around behind counter. Very slow and not organized at all. Well I will have to tell you this was my worst visit ever at a Carl's Jr. I was behind someone in the drive through (red pickup with kid) that must have worked there. After she she identified herself to the people inside they began talking about everything except taking her order. Then after a few minutes of chat they decided to take her order. Now it was my turn I gave my order after being asked what I wanted (by a female) she didn't get any of it the first time. But yet I could hear her chatting with the person that was in front of me. Anyhow had to repeat it. Anyhow I finally pulled up and again the chatting was going on with the person in front of me as they passed a cell phone back and forth in the window. Yeah. I finally get to the window. And this older lady maybe American Indian comes to window. Never says a word to me. Not hi, not thank you, not here is your food nothing. I guess she was o we whelmed by the friend previously. Anyhow got my food and guess what. I ordered a superstar and guess what I had. Two meat patties. No bum no lettuce no nothing. Anyhow. I asked about a vets discount and was told that yes they do offer a vets discount. When i got to the window I'm told that my #18 meal that is on the menu board is not eligible for discount. I get that they dont have to do the discount but to pick and choose what can be discounted and cant is messed up. I was not using and coupons or anything just ordering a meal from menu. Very disappointed in the customer service in this place. We ordered our food and began to wait after 15 minutes or so the worker asked for our receipt apparently our order never got processed. After waiting 30 plus minutes for our order I simply asked if they give refills on their peach lemonade. The female worker said she didn't know and asked the male worker that had taken our order who states he didn't know either, then the manager popped her head out of the office and said no we don't give refills. Another worker came up and I said ok can i pay for a refill then and began to ring me up...i stated to that worker, "as long as it took for us to get our food you would think we could at least get a refill". The male worker then walks up to the counter and tells me, "don't do that my assistant manager said no we don't do refills". She then comes out of the office and tells the female worker helping me go ahead give her the refill. While he walks away saying "I'm not going to argue with her". I said you shouldn't argue with the customer since you messed up on our order in the first place and we had to wait over 30 minutes". I went step foot in this place again...and obviously non of the workers knew what procedures were in place when it comes to refills...WOW! The food is hit and miss. Burned on many occasions. The night manager Jerry is a problem. If your order is wrong, he'll have it fixed but is rude about it. No compensation for the inconvenience. No apology, no complimentary soda or cookie or something to make up for it. Then they take the wrong burger and throw it in the trash right in front of you. I wanted to keep mine and give it to a hungry guy I saw down the street. It was their mistake and the receipt proved it. Jerry said no I'm not giving you free food and laughed as he threw it away.
