Hello! So I ordered 32 trays of catering food from Raileys Deli in Yreka, Ca. for a wedding I was hosting. Everything came beautifully wrapped and ended up being a big hit with all the guests. Stopped in to grab a few things for the road. Was shocked at the amount of people who were not wearing masks and the lack of management or employee enforcement of the state mandate rule of mask wearing inside businesses. Mask wearing is not much of a protection of one's self as it is of others. So these people who refuse are either uninformed or the worst sort of people in this county, or state and country. Shopping at Raley's hasn't been great lately. Each time something is on sale, they have to call over another checker-meaning they must stop helping that customer. It's like an act of congress watching them discuss the price & whether it's correct or not. Good grief-update your system so the sale price is reflected. Their produce isn't really fresh either. High end nice clean grocery store. Ok... for some reason I thought this was a restaurant when I first drove past it. Its similar to Safeway, Fred Meyer etc. Well more on the Safeway looks. Came here to grab a few things on the go. This place is huge. It has lots of parking space. I like it. Its so spacious that you can walk through the isle freely. But probably its because its in Yreka, its pretty empty or maybe its night time. People don't shop at night in Yreka. Cool place located right off the highway. read more

This was a nice, big, clean store. The isles are wide and the merchandise is organized and tidy. Employees were easy to find and more than one asked me how I was or if I needed help finding anything. They had restrooms available and some attractive cakes in the bakery department. The selection on some things seemed light, but that may be because Yreka isn't a big place with high demand. I'd definitely stop here again if I'm in the area and need general groceries or a potty stop. read more

My favorite local grocery store! They have such an awesome selection of items. It's always very clean and well displayed too. It's a little on the spendy side, but it's good quality items. They have a great deli and for Yreka a good little sushi selection. It of course isn't the best sushi I've ever had, but it isn't "gas station sushi" either. It's freshly made every day and nicely put together. A limited selection of course, but nice when you're craving sushi and stuck in Yreka. read more

Saw a comment in here regarding the lack of face mask enforcement and should've driven further for a safer environment. Most aren't wearing masks, employees included, and while they did claim there was cart washing I didn't witness it occurring. The self checkout was the only redeeming thing as we watched a masked employee diligently wiping them down. Don't stop in here if you value a safe shopping environment. Half a star in my opinion grew up here - have watched this deli go from efficient and delicious to slow, inattentive, sloppy and disgusting. to the older deli worker with blonde hair who never wears a mask and sings along to the songs. You come off so rude and you have no drive it is sad to watch you try to make my sandwich, which you couldn't even make. I will not be returning sadly but I'm thankful for our miner street meat market and their amazing staff and great deli. read more

It's bad enough that when you shop early (between 6 and 7AM), you have to maneuver your cart around boxes and palettes blocking the aisles but today was the topper! Steven took my cart (with $300. worth of groceries) and made me go through the self check. THERE WAS NOT ANOTHER SHOPPER IN THE STORE! And he was NOT the only checker. Ellie was there as well. The groceries were piling up but I was told I could not bag until he was done. There was NO room for anything and he just kept piling things on top until I said forget it, I'm bagging. There is no room to bag except putting my bags on the filthy floor. There were still groceries in my cart. And the booze had to be done on another station. If this is Raley's way of encouraging self check, EPIC FAIL! I have been a loyal customer for decades but no longer. read more

I got two sandwiches today, about an hour ago. While taking our order this young lady, whose name starts with an I, was not polite. When I asked her to please use a clean knife, due to my severe allergy to avacodo, she cut my sandwhich with the knife laying there. When I commented on it, she snottily told me that small knives were used for avacodo. I have NEVER had such rude treatment in the deli. In the past when I told deli workers about my allergy, they've cleaned the area and were careful. Someone needs to retrain this girl in customer service and how to treat special requests. If I see her working, next time I will take my money else where. read more

So I used to like this Raleys.. Until tonight, when I was wrongly accused of shoplifting, and thoroughly embarrassed in front of my children, and other patrons. A man, who I'm sure is a manager, came up to me in the soda aisle, telling me that he was sure that he saw me put something in my purse. I asked if he was serious, he said yes, so I opened my bag, and showed him that I hadn't taken anything. Now, I'm with my two children.. My cart is full of food.. I don't look derelict.. My children weren't running wild in the store.. In fact they were well behaved.. I'm not sure what made this man suspicious of me.. I have been in situations in the past when I was younger, and wore all black and wore my hair in various rebellious colors, where I'd be in a store, and the employees would follow me around.. Convinced that I had taken already, or was going to steal something. That made me mad back then, and it REALLY makes me mad now. I don't know if it's just me, but I thought when people are shopping, it's supposed to be a peaceful experience. I don't expect to be followed and harassed by the employees, that's for sure. I'm sure this has happened to other people in the past here.. The guy seemed pretty nonchalant after he realized that I was innocent.. barely offered an apology. My guess is he does that often. I had every employee staring at me when I reached the register to PAY for my groceries. I'm a good customer. I spend a lot when I shop, and now Raleys is on my shit list.. Pardon my French.. I just had the most amazing experience with Raley's. I recently found out from another Friend that you can shop online. Well thats what I did. It was so simple! I spoke with Cody about items that weren't available and how he replaced items with my permission. He made my experience welcoming, simple. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis as well as Mental Health issues. I won't be having the panic attacks and when I am unable to shop, I can pick them up. I suggest you at least give them a one day advance or at least give them time to fill your order if it is over 100$ Thank you so much Raley's for providing this service and most of all for Cody at the Fort Jones Rd Store who knowledgeable and Fabulous. I have shopped here off and on for over 20y and have never had a complaint. read more

I just had a great experience with the employees here. As soon as I got in the store somebody have already greeted me good morning! I went to buy a flower arrangement and an employee name Taylor who help me out. It is a beautiful design and she was very helpful. She went out of her way to help me designed the flower I requested. The best place to get your produce and other necessities in Yreka, hands down. Raley's is located off the first I-5 exit if you are going north and the last if you are going south. Just pass the fast food spots and take a left at the sign for junction something or other shopping center and you're there. There is also a JC Penney, Blockbuster, Papa Murphy's, Subway, and some other stores in the shopping center, along with the DMV (weird). Raley's is also one of the few spots in Yreka that has a redbox, so you can pick up popcorn and candy and get your one dollar rental all in one spot. There is a pretty good bakery and deli located there, along with the obligatory pharmacy counter.If you are a wino or otherwise interested in alcohol, this is a pretty good spot. Good wine selection, much cheaper than in Oregon, and a good hard alcohol selection as well (though I think for cheaper brands and beer Rite Aid is probably a better deal). My nephew loves visiting because the bakery folks always give him cookies, which I think is really sweet. The prices may be higher than say winco or grocery outlet, but the produce is also much higher quality. read more

Every time I've gone to this store it is always clean, and ppl are all very nice and helpful. Everyone is wearing masks, cleaning each cart AND mart cart after every use! The store is always being stocked, so it's very seldom out of things. Being disabled I can always use the extra help, and they always ask if I need it. Walmart won't make ppl wear masks, their store and carts are filthy, so I refuse to go there! You guys are great! Keep up the good work! read more

Wow! Raley's offers curbside shopping delivery with your own personal shopper! Also provides an APP so you can download and really concentrate on exactly what you want to buy in the comfort of your own home allowing more time for family and friends. After driving 7 hours and not wanting to go shopping , I came upon this service and called Raley's wondering if they offered it? Within minutes I had everything downloaded and picked out so that I could actually relax and prepare my dishes knowing that all necessary items would be picked up and brought out by curbside. A special space is marked and waiting for you. You call them and they bring it directly out to your car and happily load your car so you don't even have to get out. To top it off, Katelyn my personal shopper went out of her way asking me if I had everything I needed and was so accommodating and helpful! I felt so cared for and really could just relax. Wow! My husband even said, "this is a dream". Thank you Raley's for aiding to our duties and simply making the holiday more enjoyable with no shopping hassles. This is the best place to get groceries in Yreka. That doesn't mean its a great store. The service is okay most of the time, but sometimes the cashiers are downright rude. They will ignore the customer they are currently assisting and instead hold conversations with other cashiers or other customers, all while the one being served would like to buy stamps, too. I prefer the self help aisle if I'm here for just a few things. That way I don't have to deal with rude cashiers. The deli counter workers are generally friendly and Raley's is the best sandwich shop in town. read more

Let's face it food in Yreka, like gas, is just more expensive. Raley's is even a little more spendy, but they have a wider range and better quality of food than other local markets. Raley's is by far the best grocery store in Yreka! Very clean! They have a wonderful organic, gluten free and all around health food section. The only place I would shop for quality in this town. The employees are extremely nice , easy to find and will help you with anything you need. The produce is good quality . The best part extremely clean store and no pets, which no one is touching the food while they pet their dog!! They have excellent coffee and the fresh baked is so good along with the deli sandwiches. I LOVE THIS STORE!! The bakery is awesome. The cakes are amazing. I order birthday cakes here for my kids every year. Even the cookies and doughnuts are good. The meat is really good and reasonably priced. I buy my regular groceries here. The staff is very friendly. The manager Linda made sure all my coupons came off my total.
