I didn't check it till we had returned home, almost a 20 minute walk away. I notice on the receipt that she double charges me for an item. So I will definitely be checking my receipt before leaving the counter. And I advise you all to do the same. They are not really friendly to anyone. The lady we had on the last visit that did all the above, she also knew that we were standing in line, a long line, and when it came to my turn, she tried taking a woman who had just walked in. Very rude and inconsiderate. She looked right at me when I was in line. Maybe she didn't see me clearly and maybe she was having a bad day that time and a few time I seen her in between her friendliness to something negative. They have diesel with long pull ins for large vehicles, though the price of diesel is higher than premium gas! Gas prices are lowest in town though. The pumps took credit cards just fine. It's pretty much the last place to stop for fuel before you get to Oregon. Prices may be cheaper there, but you're not allowed to pump your own gas ... except for diesel. There's a good place t stop for food too right next door!

I bought a bag of potatoes along with some other items yesterday and when I had gotten home I discovered that the potatoes were rotten! I proceeded to take them back to grocery outlet and they return them and I purchased another distributor's potatoes. To my dismay, that bag also had rotten potatoes! When I was talking to the lady in the checkout behind me she said " that's what they're selling nowadays ". Just because a grocer sells discounted items, they should not be rotten or spoiled! I tried to return the second bag today, but the manager would not allow me to return them without a receipt (My wife threw away the receipt). I then informed the manager that our family will never be shopping at grocery outlet again, I have two grown daughters and sons with children and plenty of friends here in Yreka who I'm definitely spreading the word to. I guess I'll be getting all of my fruits and vegetables at either raley's or Walmart.
