So we were under the impression we were ordering a combination with a 10 honey barbecue nuggets drink fries for 999 for some reason their employee ordered A la carte 5.99 nuggets with a Small drink for 3.39 So we're thinking we're getting what we order I go in very disappointing, but I have to stop and go in and fix this order and they just left standing there. We ordered a 12 piece bucket of chicken today and it was terrible. The chicken was dry , obviously had been cooked hours earlier and sat under their heater for far too long. It also tasted like the oil it was cooked in was old. We were very unhappy. I especially did not appreciate the woman at the drive through window saying it was "fresh from the fryer" when she handed the bucket to us. We found out when we got it home that she was lying. My suggestion is to check the chicken you order for takeout before you leave the restaurant so, you can return it if it isn't fresh. That's what we plan on doing from now on. We've been stopping here for the last few years on our way to Reno. This time, very disappointing. Not long til closing time on a Sunday night. I'm disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. The windows likely haven't been cleaned since the place was built. We ordered 2-3 piece dinners. They didn't have Original pieces and they were out of most pieces in Extra Crispy, Again, small town Sunday evening. It was the type of place where you say " why don't you tell me what you DO HAVE. The staff: one young man and woman, were pleasant and more than helpful. Probably wanted us out so they could close Yes, we would likely stop again just because it's the closest KFC we have. First-time here and this place was clean and organized. We we're greeted by the friendly guy behind the counter. We ordered the 16 piece meal to go and he asked if we wouldn't mind waiting 10 minutes for fresh chicken. He offered us some drinks while we waited. That's never been offered to us at any KFC, so that was really nice! They get an extra star for that exceptional customer service. He also chatted with us about all the snow coming down. They gave us plenty of butter and honey for our Biscuits and lots of sauces for the chicken. After reading the bad reviews here I believe they've got it together now and would reccomend this KFC. They got all of our order correct, 16 pieces of extra crispy chicken and 8 fresh Biscuits and everything tasted just right. Our receipt said Wendy but Wendy didn't help us. My husband wanted to stop here yesterday on our way to South Lake Tahoe. We went through the drive-through and he ordered the spicy hot chicken tenders meal and I ordered their chicken pot pie and coleslaw. My chicken pot pie and coleslaw tasted as expected, my husband's tenders were sitting on top a puddle of spicy grease! In this area decent food is far and few between which is even more surprising that a fast food restaurant would be as fantastic as this was. Whoever is in charge here really knows what they're doing. Our order was unique, most people would make mistakes, which is common for us because we have a couple different dietary restrictions in our family, but somehow they pulled it off and the food was fantastic. It didn't seem like typical KFC, it definitely was KFC it just seemed more fresh. The restaurant was decently clean, service was very kind and professional, the atmosphere is what you would expect of a KFC, the price to the food quality was fair, and the overall experience was fantastic. Again whoever the owner is you picked great management and great employees. In a very small pool to pick from no less. This area is not known for its outstanding service or restaurants, maybe with all the changes in gentrification happening it's on the rise? I look forward to sampling more things around the area now. I ordered one small side of sweet corn, and one small side of mashed potatoes. When I received my food it was old looking, and the corn was dry and had no moisture and tasted old by a few hours. I recommend to ask for your meal to be cooked fresh to order. read more

Each time I've been to this place, it's led to grief and disappointment. Seems like they're always out of something or I get shorted. Badly managed! Last time I went through the drive through and ordered a 12 piece meal they put half my food upside down and when I got home there was gravy and mashed potatoes all over everything else inside the bag, not to mention inside my biscuits. I reluctantly am giving this poorly ran restaurant 1 star. I wish you could do a review with no stars or even minus the stars because the KFC manager on 11-4-2020 at 5pm ruined me from ever coming back to this fast food location. It took me 20 minutes to have my order taken in the drive-thru line and and additional 30 minutes to get my food. Rather than holding up the drive thru line, I graciously offered to pull around to the front. I was told it would be a 5 minute wait. I noticed the drive-thru was continuing to serve other customers. The inside of the restaurant was closed due to Covid so they were only serving the drive-thru customers. The nerve of that manager to continue giving out the chicken I was waiting for on my double order of two buckets of chicken. We were pounding on the windows to try to get their attention because the front doors were locked. My elderly father walked around to the drive-thru window to let them know we were still waiting and trying to get their attention. That rude manager had the nerve to tell him through the window that she could not hold up the line and make other people wait!! I spent almost $80.00 on dinner and that manager was a complete idiot to sat that to him. We tried calling the store numerous times and they never answered their phones. I feel sorry for the employees! Those employed were doing their best. The worst part is the manager sent out an employee to bring me my order. She should have come out to apologize for the wait time & her pour attitude. To top it off, she forgot to put in my 8 extra biscuits I ordered, all the sauces and they shorted me 5 pieces of chicken which I paid for. The food wasn't bad, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. They even recommended a deal that had the same things I was ordering for six dollars less. I appreciated it. If you eat at a lot of fast food places, you'll know that it is an accomplishment to get everything you wanted and paid for. They did that here without too much effort. Horrible, don't waste your money here!! I should have known, my first clue was that it was dinner time, 6:30 p.m. and absolutely no business!! Everyone except me already knew how bad it was and they were staying away. I ordered 2 chicken little sandwiches, 4 tenders and a mashed potato bowl plus two sides and an extra coleslaw. One of my sides were wrong. The chicken was so heavily breaded and the actual chicken in the middle was so thin that all you could taste was the tough, dried out breading. There was so little chicken in the breading that there wasn't even one whole chicken breast worth of meat in my whole order. Virtually ALL of the chicken had been sitting in their warming ovens for so long that it was completely dried out, tough and old. The chicken little sandwiches literally did not even have 1/2 teaspoon of mayonnaise on them. I spent $27.00 on the above order and they wouldn't even give me any dipping sauces! I had to pay nearly another $2.00 to get sauces. I paid nearly $30 for a bunch of garbage because that's exactly where it ended up. Next time I'm too tired to cook dinner, I will break out the bread and PBJ. I'll save the $30.00 and use it for a feast at the Atlantis Toucan Charlie buffet when in Reno! That's how much it costs for two at the lunch time buffet! And, you don't have to pay extra for the sauce! I will never never again go to KFC. One more thing, the place is filthy and disgusting inside. Everything is just nasty, broken and worn out there. Very sad. read more
