Pretty decent food, and good quality control. Fast service no complaints. Would definitely come again for some quick eats

It's unfortunate that what was a premier fast food restaurant twenty years ago has fallen so low. The drive through people are great but otherwise prices and counter service are terrible. I can only assume that corporate greed drives the whole mess. Thank goodness the Jack in the Box still has great counter service and a clean and welcoming dining area. This McDonald's only fools people passing through town, even then I bet they question why it has gotten so bad. read more

Idk who in the c-suites decided that the vending machine form of a restaurant is a good idea. I'm absolutely NOT a fan and I refuse to support a business that exploits their customers. There is NO ONE AT THE FRONT. you have to go to a touchscreen monitor to order and pay while all you hear is a shrill voice screaming out numbers from the kitchen. Meanwhile 2 employees are sitting at a back table making out. What even is happening here? Go next door to any of the other options where the customer isn't expected to be a part of the workforce while employees are chillin' in the back. read more

Haven't been to Mickey D's in ages! First of all WE don't like Checking OURSELVES out at a grocery store or bagging our food with bags we have to pay for. With that being said, After we ordered our own stuff at the kiosk WE WAITED 22 MINUTES for our food. No slushie and the hamburgers were wrong and COLD. We did not go back as we were traveling with a trailer, and been driving all day and were not turning around!!! Our last visit!!!!! read more

McDonald's - Outside the Susanville CA restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Susanville, California

This for all the McDonalds who have changed milk packaging from large mouth plastic bottles to small boxes with straws you have to suck the milk through. Whoever in the company that made that decision should be fired. They are horrible. Since trying them a few times I haven't had a McDonalds breakfast ever since. read more

Stopped at this McDonald's on Main Street in Susanville while passing through town and had one of the worst fast-food experiences. We waited nearly an hour for just two fries and two cheeseburgers. The frustrating part was that the restaurant wasn't even particularly busy and the lines weren't long. If this is the level of service they can provide for such a simple order, they need serious improvements in their operations. We would have been better off skipping this stop altogether. When you're traveling and just need a quick meal, waiting an hour for basic food is unacceptable. We won't be coming back, and I hope others read this review before making the same mistake. read more

Our experience at this McDonald's was disappointing, not because of the food, but because of the customer service. The woman bringing food out from the kitchen was extremely rude to multiple customers during our visit. One customer politely asked if he could get extra caramel for his caramel frappé, and she abruptly replied, "It costs extra." When he explained that the drinks are usually served with caramel drizzled inside the cup, she snapped, "Well whoever was doing that is doing it wrong," before walking away. The poor service didn't stop there. Another customer stood at the counter waiting just to ask for ketchup, but no one was working the front. After waiting several minutes, he finally had to loudly call, "Excuse me!" into the kitchen to get someone's attention. Yet another customer had to ask about drinks they had ordered over ten minutes earlier because they still hadn't received them. To make matters worse, the restrooms were dirty despite an employee using them while we were there. It's hard to understand how the bathrooms could be left in that condition when staff were clearly in and out of them. Judging by the number of frustrated customers and the restaurant's 1.8-star Yelp rating, this doesn't seem like an isolated issue. While our food itself was fine, our "sugar-free vanilla" coffee was definitely not sugar-free--it was so sweet it was practically undrinkable. Good food can only make up for so much. Friendly, attentive customer service is just as important, and unfortunately this location seems to fall short time and time again. read more

Just stopped at McDonald's for my 2nd cup of coffee of the day - you know, a quick hot cup. Took about eight minutes. $3. Coffee came out and when I picked it up, it felt light. it was barely past halfway full. I had to shout to get their attention to ask them to fill it then it came out about 3/4 full. I took it and just shook my head. Walk out the door, take a sip, and it's lukewarm. I turned around, took it to the counter and I just left it. I really don't expect much for McDonald's but I thought they could get a cup of coffee right.. read more

Rude service. No thank you. They don't even look at you, employee shut the window without even looking.

Me and my daughter were driving through town and I was showing my daughter what we used to do in the good old days where you would yell out the window at people. She said and I quote "nice haircut." he then walked into the restaurant and screamed, " I am the one that cooks the food" I have never left a drive-through that fast. The restaurant in general looked not well kept and the staff there from what I heard from that young gentleman it's very rude. We will never be going back. Unless that man gets fired because I would not like spit or any human feces in my food. read more

All the fast food restaurants in Susanville suck and the McDonalds is at the #1 suck position. The food is not fresh and is often delivered luke warm or cold. The last time I ate there is the LAST time I'll ever eat at a McDonalds. I went to the drive through and ordered a 10 piece McNugget meal. I paid at the first window and was told at the 2nd window to park around the corner. This almost always happens at this location, even during the lunch hour. It took over 10 minutes to bring me my meal and when they did the fries were luke warm and the nuggets were cold and chewy. Never again. The only half decent fast food restaurant in Susanville is the Jack in the Box. read more

Deserve no stars really snappy staff for no reason. Hours of opening are false. Staff there lie out the arse. Just a bad spot altogether

My breakfast sandwiches were cold, the big breakfast shows a hash brown in the picture and didn't get it and the service was rude.

The drive thru cashier, Jeremiah, was very courteous and polite. He explained everything to us as we ordered breakfast at lunchtime, confirming the order and explaining the wait we would have while the food was made. Again very customer service oriented. Food was hot and fresh and we were very pleased read more

They parked us and made us wait for five mins for what I was told was fries. This was around 3pm. When we got our order the fries were cold and my fish fillet was a inedible. The bun was so hard it was literally shriveled up, I guess that's why they gave me two when I ordered one. So sad to see such potential in an area with limited competition. Especially when the employees are making $20 an hour now. I hope the the franchise owner reads this and makes some changes. read more

Went inside to eat yesterday with my 5 year old son and mother in law. Have not been inside for 6 ish years. I do not care for the remodel inside. What happened to the iconic play structure that makes McDonald's?? Im not sure what happened but the trash was over flowing, all the tables were dirty we finally picked one and cleaned it ourself. Food was typical Mcdonald's food. Fries did not taste fresh. Took my young son into the woman's restroom. It smells like cat piss, the toilet was leaking. It was beyond gross! 6 years ago that restroom was clean and a nice place to stop when passing through. I will say the woman who called our order was very nice! She exchanged the red sonic for the blue sonic he really wanted and made his day. We thanked her. Please clean the bathroom and empty the trash. read more

I Went to Mc Donald's drive thru and noticed food missing , went inside McDonald's to let the manager know that I was missing food , he was very rude telling me I needed my receipt, I went to the car to get my receipt and when I came back inside he snatched the receipt from my hand , I don't understand how a person like him made it to be a manager if he has no customer service whatsoever and was extremely disrespectful. I Hope you guys train employees better, but for him there is no saving his attitude and the way he disrespected me especially being a woman. I will never ever eat at this place ever again . read more

Bizarre and disgusting experience. Going through the drive-thru to pick up a mobile order was like some Twilight Zone episode. I don't need or appreciate a bunch of song-and-dance and weird, smarmy asskissing from the speaker and first window people ("Oh! It's the 'Valued customer!!!!' "). What the f-k? Just give me my damn food (which, as my next complaint, was absolutely revolting). When the skinny 30-ish creep at the second window handed over my order with a garish shit-eating grin on his face, I knew I had made a terrible mistake. My double quarter pounder deluxe was a complete pile of slop- I needed a spoon to eat it. Absolutely drowning in soggy shredded lettuce and mayonnaise (much like another Google reviewer's experience), like the dispenser bottle's top flew off mid-squeeze and the entire thing emptied onto my sandwich. The patties overhung the completely smashed, disintegrating bun by nearly 2 inches. The other regular cheeseburgers were stone-cold and coagulated. The fries were cold and not fresh but the only somewhat edible part of the meals. I could only manage a few bites of my cheeseburger-flavored mayonnaise muck before my stomach began to protest. Wack-ass people and food I wouldn't give to a starving dog. Avoid this McDonald's like the plague!! read more

Ordered 2 dbl cheeseburgers in the drive thru. Received 2 regular cheeseburgers. Old hard nasty obvious "sandbag" cheeseburgers. Went inside to straighten it out. No clerk in front. I had to waive over someone from the kitchen who was annoyed at having to be bothered to fix my order. The dbl cheeseburgers she gave were worse than the first. Dry bun, hard pattie. Had to have been at least an hour old. Gross! No more McDonalds. Maybe Gods way of telling me to quit putting that poison in my body. read more

Passing through and decided to stop for dinner. There was no one at the counter to order with. I hate using the filthy kiosks. There was a young teen boy working but he kept going in and out to the parking lot flirting with girls. The bathroom was so dirty it smelled like piss and the garbage was over flowing. Do better McDonald's! read more

The manager was extremely rude, I tried to pay with cash and he proceeded to yell at me that they don't give change just out of nowhere and then cancelled my order. Nonetheless it took him 10 minutes just to come to the front desk to help me cause the kiosk wasn't working. read more

Quick service and they got our order right! No complaints, bathroom was nice. Fries and burgers were hot and tasty!

Super fast and friendly. Fries were excellent. We got 3 quarter pounders, and they charged us for extra cheese when I didn't ask for it and it wasn't listed on the screen. Not really complaining though as it tasted great. read more

One of the slowest McDonalds. Not really happy with this location. I'm new to the McDonalds app and thought this would help my order. In this visit today it did not. Though they recognized my "code" it took about 15 minutes to find my order then I needed to wait an additional "10" to get a hot meal, which in the end and down the road was neither hot, fresh nor satisfying. I should have turned around to complain, just too tired to do so. read more

this is the worst mcdonald's ever. i ordered 2 mcdouble meals with 2 4 piece nuggets. what i ended up having was two hot n spicys and spicy nuggets and they gave me 20 minute old fries. they said they were out of all of it. ridiculous. my nuggets were so stale they could cut paper. read more

Quit your day job! Ordered a filet o'fish with lite tarter sauce with a drink the cheese and a ton of sauce all slapped haphazardly all on the side! So how does this happen? I'll tell you; SOMEONE THAT SHOULDN'T BE WORKING THERE IS ! BEWARE!!! This McDonalds is not following their own covid protocols. Several patrons and employees were not wearing masks and management was doing nothing to enforce it. They dont care what they put in your bag. You order a big mac, you get a quarter pounder instead. Order a burger with no cheese. You're guaranteed to get a burger with cheese. Over $30 for two Double Quarter Pounder meals. Buh-bye Susanville McDonald's!

I want to know why Anna a manager can never get there on time to open. It is unfair to the employees and the customers. It is unsafe to have employees waiting in a dark parking lot for 25 minutes to 90 minutes because she can't get there in time. It is right on the confer of 36 and main st. Someone could kidnap the employees and be long gone before anyone notices. Then this causes stress for employees to hear customers complaining they aren't open on time. Management should set a standard. If she can't show up on time get new management read more

What the heck happened to this McDonald's? Ever since the remodel it is a disaster! Not enough staff, waited 45 minutes this morning in the lobby for 2 meals. They service the drive thru, and mobile app orders and people in the lobby are totally ignored. Why don't they close the lobby if there is not enough staff? The manager of this store is doing a horrible job. There were 2 big events in Susanville and you would think they would staff up for these big events. Come on , those poor workers were doing their best, but overworked and underpaid, I'm sure! read more

Came here passing through town and thought it would be a nice place to have lunch, and also for my son to play in the play area. We stopped in the bathroom first to use the changing table only to find that this dining establishment with a play area doesn't HAVE a changing table. WTF, McDonalds? How many happy meals do I have to buy for you to install a lousy changing station. We left and went to the Taco Bell next door instead. read more
