3 times they have messed up my order on Uber Eats. Uber Eats obviously doesn't care about anything considering they give you no option to dispute any wrong doing. Normally, I don't write reviews. I simply don't have the time, but today I'm taking the time. Through the years, I've spent a lot of money at KFC. For the past year, I've got terrible customer service at the drive-thru at the KFC in Shallotte, NC. The girl at the drive-thru has been short with me and right down rude on several occasions. Last Friday, I went through the drive-thru, and made my large order, a $73 order. I have a big family! The girl swiped my card, but the processing was delayed for some reason. She yelled at me and said it didn't go through. She said, I'm going to have to swipe it again. I said as long as it doesn't go through my account twice. She yelled back at me and said, IT WON'T!!! I knew better. I was asked to pull up, so I did! While I was waiting, I checked my account. Guess what? My order went through twice. I parked my car, & went inside and explained what happened to the guy in charge. He and the Drive-Thru person yelled at each other a couple of times, then he proceeds to tell me that he can't refund one of the charges until it clears. I stated, this is not my fault and I have to wait several days for my money, that's pretty inconvenient for me! He calls the GM, & he tells me the same thing! I was in there almost 30 minutes and my dinner is now cold! Fast forward, it's going into the next week now, & I've got to drive back to KFC - Shallotte to hopefully get the extra charge refunded. They blamed it on the system! The system showed it went through once, but my account shows twice! I don't think it's the system. I think it's very poor customer service. It's sad because I've been going to KFC all my life! Now, I won't ever go back! My advice, stay away from the KFC in Shallotte unless you want to be charged twice and have to wait over a week to be refunded! There is NO EXCUSE for bad customer service! None whatsoever!!! This place is nasty. Went in on 8-19-24. Floors were all wet. One person inside eating. In the parking lot was a vehicle with kfc apparel inside which looked as someone was living inside. Anyway. Ordered 2 of the chicken strip meal's. Spoke w the owner. Seemed nice. I thought it was weird only one person was eating. He told me I just missed the crowd. Uh huh. I should have left when I saw one person eating. Anyway we spoke more and he told us that he was planning on firing the majority of his crew and getting new help. This was said in the presence of his workers. Id of walked out if I was working there. Anyway We got our food. Asked for bbq and ranch to dip in. Went to get our drinks and the soda dispenser didnt have any syrup in the flavors. Lemonade was just water. Got home. Opened up the boxes and no sauce. And the chicken was like rubber. Looked like it had been reheated and old. Tried it and it was awful. No crispy. This place is a joke. Food is foul. Stay away from this place if you don't want to get sick. read more

Ordered Extra Crispy and when arrived home found it was extra mushy. Obviously they gave us the leftover pieces that had been sitting around. Put in air fryer but was still impossible to eat. Mashed potatoes were "starchy" but coleslaw was good. Overall a bad experience. If you want fried chicken go somewhere else. read more

I ordered the 10p feast. They had no dark meat which is ok but they gave me mostly wings. I ask for slaw and two sides of Mac and cheese. I received the Mac and cheese but received mashed and gravy instead of slaw. As for the chicken it was tough, very dry and tasted as if was cooked yesterday. The young boy at the window taking my money was very rude and closed his window while I was asking a question. I've patronized the business a lot over the years, but I'll make it a point not to anymore. I'll go to Smithfield's which is down the street. I was hungry one night ans asked for my favorite thing off the menu- popcorn chicken. They took it off the menu and dont sell it anymore, and replaced it with a chicken nugget kids meal. The thing i liked most about the restraunt was how it had popcorn chicken instead of chicken nuggets like every other restraunt in town. So anyway, i order the nuggets and they are slimy, mushy, and tasted strange. I do not recommend getting this item off the menu, it is very disappointing to see my favorite item gone and replaced with a gross kids meal. please bring back popcorn chicken. Also, a couple years ago, they took regular barbecue sauce off and replaced that with honey bbq, and i know it may seem the same but it tastes different and to me, a chicken nugget kids meal isn't as enjoyable and delicious as my original popcorn nuggets with barbecue sauce. The menu has changed very much and the prices went up and the food and quality went down. Im very disappointed that i cant have my favorite food anymore. read more
