Wow- very inefficient store. Just waiting and watching their employees work. They definitely need more training and supervision. They are lost with the orders and move really slow. The cashier obviously hates his job too. 20 minutes waiting.... read more

This KFC is supposed to stay open late. We went through the drive through window to find they were out of chicken. Now we are stuck in the drive through for a half an hour. It might be helpful for them to put up a sign to let people know before they get trapped in the line. Seems to be a regular occurrence for them to run out of chicken as well. read more

I wrote a negative review yesterday but have since spoken to the manager, Kevin, who has issued me a refund. I appreciate his professionalism. read more

I bought a 8 pcs bucket of dark meat, extra crispy, with a side of cole- slaw, mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken had a taste like the oil it was fried in was old and a little rancid. The chicken was dark in color and not the golden color I've purchased before. The coleslaw did not taste right either, the dressing was watery and not fresh. We ate two pieces of chicken and couldn't handle the taste of the rest. This is the last time I will drive thru this KFC window. read more

This place sucks! It use to be good about a year ago, but now it's gross and disgusting. I went through drive-thru, made my order. I know this place very well that they either leave something out of my order, or mess it up completely! I had to go back and get something they left out of my order, because the 2 people working the drive windows was playing and talking. Once I went back inside to get the item that was left out. There were 2 females at the counter laughing and giggling and, then turned their backs on me, and ignored another customer that walked in next to me as well. Make sure to check your orders before you leave, and check the front counter staff when they ignore or snarl at you for doing their job. Now on top of that I have food poisoning, I ordered crispy chicken and it was so greasy it looked like original. I tried to blot as much as I possibly could off. That didn't help enough I guess it was undercooked ‍ read more

This kfc/taco bell is sucks!!! Server here and cashier are very pleasant rude!!! I order supreme tacos but they gave me regular and went to ask to the cashier she said she only charge me for regular!!! Instead of saying sorry I heard nothing from her!!! And got my order for kfc ask for the cake and she gave me the one that the cashier took from the bottom of the register so i told to the server can i get a new one coz i saw her getting that in the bottom of the register... instead of giving me new one she argued w/me "telling me its the same thing!!!" So i told her you can have the cake and walk away!!!Come on is that how you treated your costumer!!! If i could only give negative ratings read more

Every so often Ill drop by for a late night grub grab and its all about who you get. yuh dig?

Come on people, its a Taco Bell/KFC and its right here in San Rafael, which is pretty rare. Marin Co. is so affluent and we look down on fast food, but poison is only dangerous in dangerous amounts!! I come here maybe five or six times a year, and the staff is always professional and courteous (even with the high turnover that is usually associated with fast food). Its a friggin' Kentaco Bell as we called them in the east bay, its not supposed to be healthy or part of a routine diet. Its cheap (sadly much cheaper than eating local/sustainable food every night) and filling, and thats about all you need. read more

The workers are fucking idiots. You can't even get an order right without fucking it up. My dad ordered 1 taco and 2 chalupas with CHICKEN and NO CHEESE and NO TOMATOES. And NO CHEESE on the taco. What the fuck did we get? Some fucking string shit for meat and tomatoes in the chalupas and cheese in the taco. Step up your fucking game. You should really choose better workers because clearly they can't even do their job right. read more

You know I understand possibly working in an environment in which customers are impatient can be stressful but the service I received was definitely rediculous. Not only did my order get 100% messed up, but I waited for my food for 10min....and I was the only one in line...than the guy at the drive thru was so rude when all I said after I tasted my drink was I wanted a Coke. Like you messed up my order why get mad due to the fact you have to fix it. So in San Rafael we have to pay a premium because in every other city it's a dollar less. So you would expect to get better service or at least a good experience. I'm not saying you have to love your job because trust me if I worked as a fast food employee I would probably hate it to. But understand that that is a job you applied for and wanted and treat your customers with respect and curtsy. Never again going there smh read more

What happened? This place had good fast service a year ago. Now for the 2nd time in a week, they don't say thank you, they are especially slow (people all around me grumbling about how long it's taking) and they got my order wrong. Needs new management. Place really sucks and is way too slow. read more

REALLY dirty inside. Went in with the family for a little KFC fix at noon. Place was empty except one guy buying bucket of chicken. After realizing the floor was more sticky than any movie theater and the tables and booster seats were just the same we touched as little as possible and headed right back out the door. Just Nasty! read more

It's Taco Bell and KFC. Two great tastes that taste great together! The staff is friendly and the establishment is modern / well kept. They do need to do a few repairs (a seat cushion needs replacing) but other than that they're peachy. read more

Just have to say that the manager Kevin is amazing! I have worked with him on a couple of very large catering size orders and he has been excellent. Very helpful and always available via email or phone. It's a real pleasure to work with him. Our order is always correct and delivery is well-organized and smooth. He is always willing to work with us on packaging and substitutions if necessary. If you are catering an event give this KFC a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

Never order from them using Door Dash they will bring you the incorrect orders will not pick up the phone so the order can be corrected and to top it off the food was nasty paid and gave a tip at best I should have received a partial refund read more

Please teach your people how to make quesadillas. I love the sauce that goes in them, but when they forget to put it in it's a waste of time sitting in the slow drive-thru lane and a waste of money. The staff is nice, but their execution is poor. read more

I will never come to this KFC again. Five bad experiences is too many. 1) they say they are open till 12. They have no KFC after 10pm. 2) I ordered KFC inside, paid...the manager dumped all KFC food while I was paying. It was 9:45. 3) I arrived at 9:50, the employee saw me pull up and ran to lock the door. The sit down restaurant closes at 10pm. This is bull. If you are open don't lock the door on a customer. If you say you serve till 12, make enough food for the night. When I have asked for a manager employees dont know the name or how to contact them. Is that even possible? I love KFC but am never ever going to the San Rafael location again. read more

Run from this place! I love KFC but my most recent experience was absolutely horrific. I went through the drive-through and got an 8-piece meal for my family's dinner. At home I bit into my chicken and it tasted terrible. I spit it out and pulled off the skin to look at it and the chicken was slimy and greenish-black. It had spoiled and was moldy!!! I immediately grabbed everyone's chicken and threw it in the garbage can. Also, the biscuits were hard and flat, and the gravy was gloppy. I had to throw the whole thing out. So now I'm out $37 plus a dinner. read more

I've been to other KFC's in local areas and have Walked out due to it being filthy. But this place is clean, workers were very nice. They were friendly and helpful. This is one of the few fast food places left that seem to care of cleanliness. read more

This place actually closes at 10pm, not midnight. They need to update their times. It's Tacobell that is open until midnight, which is conjoined with KFC. Total downer read more

This is the filthiest restaurant for have ever walked into!!!!!!! All the tables were dirty and the floor was trashed. I asked the lady to clean up and 2 girls came our with brooms and half-ass swept. Never cleaned the tables!!! We left. Can you imagine what the food prep area looks like..... Scary place read more

The service is horrible. When we asked the women working at the counter for cups for water she said we dont have cups or water when they clearly did. They were also giving cups to other customors and probably refused to give us cups because of our race. read more

Wow....not sure why this place would get two stars, overall. I don't care because maybe it's changed? All that I know is that my husband and I love this taco bell/KFC over others. I have been to a lot of Taco Bells and none of them come close to having this kind of quality service. There is this one server/cashier named Angelo and he has a sterling competent personality. He gets the orders right and asks a question when he wants things to be right with the order. He goes above the call of duty. There are other people who work there that are just as great....I just can't name them. We love that on a late night we can watch a big screen TV or on other days, watch some sports, when other places are crowded. Some other person gave a bad review and mentioned "buzz kill" because someone was sweeping the floor but then mentioned that the place looks dirty. That person is dumb. A lot of KFC places serve dried up chicken. This one does not. A lot of Taco Bells don't take time to hire good people; this one does. Also, it's required that fast food places post their calorie counts. Why did this person mark them down for that? Again, dumb. Another guy says in his review that he received potato soft tacos, rather than Dorito Locos. Maybe he was drunk, too? Just kidding. Sometimes orders are mixed up. I have never had my order confused at this Taco Bell:). Rather than give a bad review for a bad day....try going there one more time to really see. It takes more effort to write a review than to understand a situation. The food is fresh and the workers are very organized and service aware!:) Big thumbs up. read more

This KFC seems to be pretty dirty whenever I come here. Leftover garbage on the tables, litter in the parking lot. There is a buffet option at this KFC, although I don't really know if I can trust the food that's been in that old buffet cart for a while. read more

9 times out of 10 something is missing from our order and since we always take it to go, it's on us. Having to inventory your food at the counter is beyond ridiculous. read more

Sat in the drive thru and as I was exiting, I noticed how empty the bag looked in relation to my receipt. I turned back and went inside. I sat at the counter for a good 5 minutes before one of the employees asked me what I needed. Not one of them spoke half decent English. They kept walking around and seeing me before. It was like they all knew they couldn't communicate so they purposefully avoided me. When one of them finally came over, I explained the numerous mistakes they made in my order, and then they had to cycle through multiple employees until they could gather enough of my English before they could put a sentence together to understand what I needed. Little by little they gave me my missing food, and when I told them repeatedly they forgot my cole slaw, they looked at me like I was speaking some foreign language. This is what happens when you hire a ton of illegals. It reflects negatively on the establishment through incidents like this. Maybe I'll have to put this review in Spanish too so that the management will be able to understand what I'm saying, unlike earlier today when I was ordering. Irritatingly bad service. read more

This Taco Bell/KFC is extremely unfair. I was in line at the drive thru and as the car in front of me placed an order and I pulled up to the order machine they said they were closed. I was forced to wait to leave behind the guy in front of me as he waited for his order. It was incredibly infuriating and I looked in the window as to ask WHY they couldn't take one more order, they ignored me. How rude! read more

I like the Chicken Pot Pie but I beleive the KFC San Rafael cooks changed the ingrediences about two months ago. The chicken yellow sauce is gone and the pot pie is DRY and not moist, like it used to be. I have had about six of these DRY opnes in the last two months. I called store manager today but je seemed not concerned. I am done eating at KFC... read more

THE WORST TACO BELL / KFC IN EXISTANCE! I just purchased food from this location at 3:32pm on 05/22/16. I ordered a total of 5 items, and got 4 items, 3 of which were wrong. Two items were beef when I was charged for chicken, 1 nachos was missing, and the cheesy bean and rice burrito which is for my six year old, was a cheesy beefy burrito, which she cannot eat. This is not the first time this place has screwed up our order, this just happens to be the straw that broke the camel's back. The flamboyant heavyset Latino guy has no personality and should not be working drive through or any sort of customer service job. The Caucasian girl at the drive through who pushed the food into our hands was even worse without so much as saying a word, making eye contact, or making any attempt at a smile. I LOVE Taco Bell, it's my favorite of fast food joints, but I feel like the CEOs for this corporation should all be fired for caring so little about their businesses, especially those in an area that caters to both wealthy and lower class. If you're reading this review, boycott this location until the executives at Taco Bell KFC start caring more about their customers and less about cheap, understaffed, and under trained employees. These guys make millions right? I'd like food I can eat, especially when ordering for my hungry child. read more

good service, somertimes theres a line, near the transt hub so u get some shady folks in here

We generally like going to KFC but our recent visit to the San Rafael store was disgusting. I have never seen such a filthy restaurant in my life and we often eat out. The dinning room floor was trashed with old food and waste everywhere. The table we sat at had no less than a bag full of garbage below it. Table top and seats were also filty & sticky. When my wife returned from the bathroom she reported the same thing, FILTHY..... Before leaving I used the men's room and it was the same, a filthy disgusting mess. The trash can looked like it hadn't been emptied in days with trash running all over the floor. The walls, toilets, floor, door and everything else was totally sickening. PUKE on top of the men's urinal and human waste on the floor all around the toilet stall. I have never seen anything quite like this and couldn't believe anyone could run a store in this manner without being shut down by the health department. I could only imagine what the kitchen must of looked like, it made me sick just thinking about it and the food I just ate. Keep yourself and family safe, it's a health risk, AVOID this place. read more
