This place needs to be shut down. Every time I've been there it was horrible. The staff seem like they don't care and have no idea what's going on. They are always out of something. The wait time is always long today we ordered ahead and still waited a half hour. They still messed up our order! Ordered a Nashville hot sandwich and got two TENDERS on a bun with a glob of what I think was barbecue. Ordered Mac and cheese and got mashed potatoes. How hard is it to read an order and fill it appropriately. As a place that mainly sells chicken why are you always out of it? If your out of something don't replace it with something else and not even say anything to the customer. Honestly from my experiences at this location I hardly doubt they are out of stuff the staff says I think they are incompetent and lazy and don't feel like making a new batch. Literally waited a while for my dinner, they messed up my whole order for me and my family, the manager is rude and doesn't care about good customer service, the workers are new and untrained and don't even know what's going on, and they forgot certain items I brought, don't even think about going to this place, it need organization and it's extremely filthy. read more

The place is a mess - floors are sticky and everything looks like it could use a good brillo scrubbing. Ordering anything takes a VERY long time even though they're not busy at all. You could be first on line and for some reason, you still have to wait. Then after you place your order, you still have to wait some more as if they're de-feathering the chicken still in the back or something. It's supposed to be fast food! I ordered 5 hot wings. What I received were 5 super miniature drumettes about 1.5 inch or less in size each! Were they serving up baby chicks??? And overpriced too at $4.29 for 5 ridiculously sized tiny drumettes! Don't even waste your time ever going to this KFC. Your time will be much better spent driving a few miles out of your way to another location, and you'll probably get your food and be on your way much faster too. Not only will you wait FOREVER at the KFC on St. George in Rahway (right by the train tracks where 27 meets 35), but there is a 99.9% chance they will get at least one part of your order wrong. Of course by the time you actually get your food, you'll probably be too angry to care anymore and just storm out as I have done. The majority of the employees can't understand a word you're saying and those that can are incredibly rude and lazy. If you decide not to idle in your car for half an hour in the drive through line, be prepared to stand on line for a while, and then stand around for a long while before you actually get your order. Also be prepared for the dirty un-kept inside of this restaurant... flies make regular appearances. Was there today for take out order. Place seemed understaffed and very disorganized. Cashier spent more time putting orders together than he spent on register so those on line waited forever to place orders. I'm sorry I didn't check my order before leaving the store and found when I got home that I had wrong pieces in my combo order and my 5 piece hot wings were only 4 so the young kid who put my order together needs to learn chicken parts and also how to count. I was too tired and hungry to pack up my order and drive it back to complain about my order. I love Kentucky Fried Chicken but this particular location could be improved. It wasn't well kept (tables not wiped down & floor grimy) The workers were pleasant & the original chicken was good but I wondered about how clean the cooking area was judging by the dining area. This KFC does not honor coupons even though they take them from you. There was a coupon for a 12 pc meal, 3 lg sides and 6 biscuits for $23.99. The cashier indicated people get confused with the coupon and the deal was rung up at $30.99 which includes a discount of $6 off. The original recipe is good but the chicken came out dark probably because it was fried in old oil. I keep thinking if we don't try it for a while, maybe their service will get better but after 5 years, nothing's changed. We will never venture here again. Popeyes is way better quality and value. I really don't see a problem with this KFC location. I will agree with the drive thru being a little slow. I had a craving for some fried chicken after my class, so I came to this location. There was one car ahead of me when I pulled in, and by the time I pulled up to order, it was gone already. The man I'm assuming the manager placed my order and was very nice. i put my order in .... then my server excused herself and said she needed to use the restroom and the only way to get there was over the service counter. I was extremely disappointed to see the employee who needed to use the restroom needed go over the food counter by sitting on it an swinging her legs over. she told me The door to go out of the kitchen area to the restroom wouldnt open therefore she had to jump over the counter. Now this is not her fault but the KFC for having the door that wouldnt open. I love Grilled Chicken from KFC. This of course is a great location. I usually visit here twice a month. The Business usually recommends to call ahead if you need Grilled Chicken. Fried Chicken you can get anytime. Couple of times I went there in the night when they ran out. They asked me to wait for 20 minutes. They gave me free drink and additional grilled chicken. The floors counter and general appearance of the store was grimy. The men's room was out of soap. None of the employees were particularly courteous other than one woman who at least smiled and spoke in a friendly way. I asked a different woman at the register for three piece grilled chicken meal. She walked away, came back and told me that it would be a 10 minute wait to get the grilled. So I asked for the regular chicken. I waited about 15 minutes. While I waited - I watched numerous people return their orders because their orders came out wrong or had missing items. Other people waiting with me in line complained about the terrible service and wong orders. I found that the ice machine had no ice so I asked an employee to put ice in my soda cup. She took my cup by grabbing the inside of the cup with her bare hand. The girl from the register put my order in a box but from around back where I could not see her - I thought this was odd. She was out of view for some time. When she came back around - she handed my meal to another employee who asked her if it was a white meat meal. The register woman said yes. I was given my meal . My order was for a three piece white meal to go. When I got home and open the box - I found three thighs. I threw out my KFC dinner. . Because of this incident - I am even suspicious of what the register woman was doing with my meal when she was out of my site. She absolutely knew it was dark meat when she told the other employee that it white meat. read more
