Can't give zero stars. Placed a mobile order at 7:00pm. Website says the order is ready. That was 15 minutes ago. Employee too busy to talking to someone in the office. Looked at me twice and continued his conversation. An employee who was on break yelled to him as well. Kids want KFC. If I had my choice it would be elsewhere. Another chicken option needs to open in Montrose. Never had a good experience here. This is an update. Drive all the way to Ouray and the cole slaws are not in the bag. This is after the manager I believe said everything is in there and tied the bag closed. Again, they are more concerned about their conversations then taking care of the customer. Montrose KFC is the worst I have ever been in. Place was filthy, staff was unfriendly, and not a one of them could speak English. Asked for baked chicken and she told me it was warm, what? Also ordered white 3 piece got dark . No lids were there for drinks and when I told another girl she gave me a dirty look and went back and got a few lids and just threw them on the counter. It is fast food. Not health food. You sort of know what you are getting when you drive there. We live part time about a hour from here. We are not going inside places because of COVID. Chicken keeps for the hour drive home and can be reheated. It is easier to buy than to make fried chicken in our current kitchen. I do not really like the sides. The chicken is good. We haven't had it be too dry even post a reheat. They give you instructions on top of the bucket. I wish their staff wore mask but that is what it is. I do find it a tad high but again I know lots of things are getting higher priced. Until we feel safe eating out this will be one of our go to for to go food. read more

Hey, I am not a fan of strips--the breading is crispy outside but salty and the inside is just too much fried for me. I am very disappointed with how the staff is here, I absolutely love KFC, but the way I've been treated here is absolutely unacceptable. It sounds like people just don't like working here and they take it out on the customers. I understand customer service and fast food isn't the funnest job ever, And people can be rude, I understand that, but the attitude I've gotten every single time I've gone in to this KFC it's just Sad. It's not even the attitude as a problem either. What's influencing me to make this review is that we ordered a large mac & cheese through drive-through and we waited for order and we get our order and check if everything is there and we're missing a cookie in a mac & cheese, no big deal, we go in and ask for it, and it isn't until we go in and ask for the mac & cheese they tell us that they're out of mac & cheese. Why can't they tell us this when we ordered the mac & cheese or when he handed us our order. He was just OK with handing us an incomplete order without saying anything. That's not OK. i'm just tired of the attitude and the miscommunications in the non-communications that are happening at this location.
