Not too impressed. In fact, I'm less and less impressed with national chains lately, they're a far cry from what they used to be. I ordered the 7 dollar fill up, which looked like it was a lot of food, but it really wasn't. The service was okay, no complaints, but she could have been friendlier. They filled my order pretty quickly, so points for that. As far as the establishment, it's KFC, and they all pretty much look the same, brightly lit, with tones of red, white and black. If you've seen one, you've basically seen them all. My complaint is with the overall quality of the food. The tenders were dry and not well breaded or seasoned. The mashed potatoes were pretty decent, the biscuit was hard and drier than some deserts I've been through. And what was advertised to look like a pie for dessert, was actually just a bite of a pie. There was even something off about the lemonade I poured, it just wasn't right. Now, I had a pretty bad experience here a year or so ago, but gave them another chance today. whoever cooked my KFC combo meal needs to never be near food again. The chicken was either too soft or tasted like dish soap. It was a strange brown color. the biscuit was like putting flour in your mouth and chewing it into a paste... and the Mac and cheese tasted bland and off. Kraft has more flavor than that Mac and cheese. The staff were almost too quick to get the order out the window, that I think they didn't even know what they were putting in the box. after this experience, I wouldn't be surprised if that kitchen has never seen a cleaning tool or if the food is expired, the inside looks pretty bad. Have no idea they manage to mess up an entire order. Spicy chicken sandwich end up being 2 small sorry ass tender with 2 pieces of bread, and where is the 3 piece original chicken? Our second meal on a big road trip, and I got nervous. We ate here after the nationwide news about someone who got what he THOUGHT was chicken at Kentucky Fried, and one piece was a rat. I'd heard it be called "Kentucky Fried Rat" a long time ago, and apparently their quality control is not perfect yet. I wonder what we'll get now . . . We got a buffet. I'm accustomed to the big guys: Golden Corral, Ryan's Ludy's. Even Round Table Pizza had more selection than KFC. But my wife told me that I was getting the buffet, and I learned a few years ago that I had to go along with her, or at least humor her, if I want to stay alive. I got what looked good, which wasn't much, and one piece each of baked and fried chicken. My daughter mixed the banana and chocolate pudding together, and the result looked sick, but she liked it. Whatever . . . Kentucky Fried Chicken tends to have a crunchy, salty skin, and this was no exception. It was hot, but not too hot. Not very meaty either, but what I had was very good. Kentucky Baked Chicken was tasty, too. Made up for the corn and coleslaw, which were merely okay. No hot sauce available. KFC is one of many restaurants within half a mile, so if KFC won't work for you, then there are lots of other options. But KFC should work, unless you smell a rat . . . read more

We stopped here for a quick bite on the way home from vacation. It was shortly after 1pm, so I was expecting some post-rush chaos. I told my husband "I think the bathrooms would be cleaner at Wendy's but I really want a famous bowl." I stand corrected! The dining room and bathrooms were crystal clean and the bathrooms and drink stations were well stocked. We ordered and got our meal fast, and it was piping hot, not like it had been sitting on a shelf waiting to be ordered. Kind of sad. The food was ok, but the food on the buffet was not fresh. The man who took our order when we came in (I had the buffet, my wife ordered off the menu) was obviously perplexed at the task of finding what she wanted on his keyboard (it was a featured item). He asked for help from one of his co-workers but she basically ignored them. Again, food was not the greatest, but acceptable. The service was not rude or unkind, just untrained. Well, this was a most terrible experience. The customer service was sub par. There was an elderly fellow ahead of me, who made an inquiry, only to be yelled at by one of the employees. This must be fairly common for this employee, because they kept on with their duties. All was fine until one of my coworkers discovered a long black synthetic hair in his desert. Respectfully, he addressed the issue with the manager, who then stormed off to the back with the tray containing the discarded meal and employees hair. Not sure what came of it. read more

This KFC had great service. Once I came inside, a white elderly employee, Tommy, was communicating with the kitchen and the customers. He seemed highly motivated to get things done. There were people waiting but he kept everyone assured that they will get their order, and the younger employees seemed not highly motivated like he is. Maybe it is because they are in their teens who wished more in their early life, but Tommy never seem to think about himself. There is even a buffet that is awesome to eat one day. Five star for service, excellent food, atmosphere, and for Tommy being nice and respectful for what he works for. read more

The Buffet was well filled out with chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, potato salad, and the like. Broken toilet in the men's room. The dining are looked like it had not been cleaned since who knows when. Customer service left a lot to be desired. I wanted to dine in, but the staff apparently assumes all orders are carry-out. When I told the worker that I preferred to dine in, she just plopped the box on a tray and handed it to me. We went tonight to KFC at 5:30 pm for the buffet. The food had been sitting out apparently for hours without being replenished. There was one person, a young man, who was on the register, waiting on customers, cleaning the tables. There was one person at the drive thru window and I observed one other person who seemed to be replenishing the buffet. After several attempts going to the bar and trying to get fresh food, I decided to forget it. At the dinner hour, the bar should have been better. It was obvious they were short handed. This seems to be a recurring problem at this KFC location. There was no manager on site that we could tell. We won't be back. read more

I stopped in to pick up lunch for my wife and ordered the grilled chicken. I was informed that there would be a 12 minute wait and decided to wait because it was what the wife wanted for lunch.After 15 minutes I inquire about the chicken and was told that the 12 min wait was for cleaning the oven and now there would be an additional wait and it was 11:25 by this time. First experience in nearly a year, mainly because I am not a fan of KFC in general, nothing against this location. However today, the first door I came to from the parking lot was locked! I had to walk to the other side. They might need to check into that, because I think it's against fire codes to have an exterior door locked during business hours? I headed for the restroom, but had to weave through a long order line. The ladies' bathroom wasn't great, it looked like it had not been cleaned recently. Once in line to order, I noticed many customers were workers there on their lunch break (it was around 12:30pm on a Thursday). I felt bad that they had to wait so long in line when they probably only had a short amount of time before they had to get back. The 2 cashiers were scurrying around doing other jobs while trying to fill orders. One cashier, (a man), had to deal with the buffet and return, while needing to break a large bill for a waiting customer. The lady cashier was friendly but seemed very stressed. I commented to my boss that it appeared the senior adult shift was on during lunch today. Once I made it though the register line, I had absolutely no problems. Tables were clean, buffet was fully stocked the entire time we were there. I had no problem getting additional plates and thankfully the lady cashier informed me that I could have a bottled water instead of tap. Overall, we had a good experience, but I think management needs to evaluate the speed of the transactions and wait times during a busy lunch hour.
