The food is still great, but sometimes the wait can be pretty frustrating. You could call in your order, get told it'll be 20 minutes, show up after 20 minutes, and still have to wait. Even so, the food is always hot and pretty worth it. I would say that it usually isn't very filling from my experience. I usually go for the 10 wings combo. Tell me how bad this is. It costs extra to order only flats. Is it really 2 dollars of extra work to do only flats and then put no sauce on it? I order it plain anyway, I shouldn't have to pay 13-14 dollars for 10 flats, some fries, and a canned soda. The prices are generally fair and the wings are great though. It's really just for a quick fix. There's a certain chain wing place in town that has BOGO wings. I'd recommend that one instead in all honesty. read more

I have been to E Wing House 5 times now and definitely recommend it. E Wing House is my favorite in Mobile. I have not tried all the flavors but the ones that I have tried have been top notch. The wings themself are always juicy and usually pretty good size. My favorite flavor is Garlic Parm and find theirs to be better tasting that any other place in town. The customer service is also very good. I ordered online and it somehow got messed up when they received the order and they had no problem fixing the mistake. I recommend this place to anyone trying to find a new favorite wing joint. read more

This little joint is just a few steps away from where I work, but I've never tried it. For some reason, I got the hankering for some chicken wings but didn't want to go to zaxbys or Pizza Hut. We looked the menu up for this place, saw the super long list of flavors you can have your wings tossed in and thought this might be good. The pictures on YELP looked good. Some folks had a few good things to say. My associate and I decided to give it a try. She got 10 bone in honey bbq wings and I opted for a more wild choice. I got 10 bone in Caribbean jerk wings. You could smell the heat coming off those jerk wings. The flavor was excellent though. If you like hot, but something different than buffalo hot, give this flavor a try. The chicken was excellent. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. It was not dry or overcooked. Some places will overcook the chicken and dump sauce to try and cover it up. The manager and his employee were nice. This was the worst place I've ever visited. Terrible customer service and even worse food! I was completely ignored when I walked in the door, and when I finally got someone to pay attention to me, she asked, "What do you want?" I ordered a combo, but she didn't ask what I would like to drink, she just went into the back and didn't come back until the food was 'ready.' She then overfilled my drink, to the point it was pouring out of the lid, and didn't bother to clean it up. Now, for the food. I hadn't eaten all day, so anything should have been fine, but it was terrible. The chicken was so over cooked, it was nearly impossible to chew. The fries were still frozen! I thought I would stop at the Wing House on University Blvd on 26 October 2017 and pick up some wings for my family's diner. I placed a counter order for one ten piece wing combo and two ten piece regular orders. I paid for my wings with my debit card and pocketed my printed receipt without really looking closely at it. I then sat down to wait while my orders were being prepared. When the young man working the counter said my order was ready I went up to collect my food. I asked the man at the counter which food box had my order of fries in it. His response was that they all had fries in them. I then checked my receipt and saw I was charged for all three orders being combos. I told the man I didn't want three combos and that he needed to get a manager to void the order and ring it up as one combo and two ten piece orders. He stated there was no manager working and he didn't know how to change the order. I said please let the manager/owner know there was a problem and I would be coming back in for a refund. I wasn't able to come back in until about 5:00pm on Monday November 6, 2017. Here's where things went down hill and not in a good way. Upon entering the store I approached the counter with the two additional sodas I received with my original order. As I waited an older man come out of the kitchen area and asked if he could help me. I said, "if you are the owner or manager I hope you can clear up a problem I encountered last time I visited your store". I handed him the receipt I had from my previous visit and explained what had happened. The man never said he was the manager or owner and demanded my other receipt. I told him his employee from my previous visit only gave me the receipt I had just given him. I told him I wanted a refund for the difference I was charged by his employee rung up wrong. The man got all defensive and asked what the employee looked like and I told him he was a young skinny black man. He said he'd have to call him and confirm what happened. He disappears into the kitchen area presumably to call the employee. After a while he came back out an said he had called the employee and had to wait for him to call back. I said, "he had to be kidding and why I would have brought back two unopened sodas and only wanted my $4.00 I was overcharged refunded". He told me to sit down over there and wait until he could figure things out. I said all this over $4.00. He then announced to the other customers in the store "see I'm only trying to help him out referring to me. He also said if I said anything else he wouldn't help me. I sat at a table and started writing this review. The man went into the back once again. He came out several minutes later with $4.00 and gave it to me. No, I'm sorry for the inconvenience or anything else. He did say in future if I encountered the same problem to take off there and then. I told him that's exactly I tried to do the night it happened but was unable to do so because his cashier didn't know how. I suggested he needed to train his people how to deal with customers. I said thank you and departed the store. Needless to say I won't be going back to the Wing House if this is the way they treat customers over a measly $4.00 mistake on the part of their staff! read more

We showed up at 11:00pm when they close at 12:00 at night and we were treated exceptionally! This place is kind of a hole in the wall so I wasn't expecting much, but I have to say the food was outstanding. I had the teriyaki boneless wings meal and my fiancé had the honey BBQ bacon burger and buffalo jerk wings - all of which were delicious. The sauce on the wings was so good and the portions were giant! But the best part was that it all tasted really fresh, hands down best wings I've ever had.
