The chef that took over cooking duties has given several cooking demonstrations on local channels, (in fact, I think the restaurant got an update to its name - "Nelson's Barnyard Buffet") so we decided it was time to give them another try. The food quality is SO IMPROVED since the last time we went. We frequent many AYCE buffets in the Mobile and Baldwin county areas. So, we know the good ones, the bad ones - the consistent ones and the inconsistent ones. In the three times we've recently been to Nelson's Barnyard Buffet, the food has been consistently excellent. Service and cleanliness are spot on. I'm GLAD this place is a bit of a drive, for us, as overeating is practically unavoidable, there.
